Hidden gem in the middle of a dumpy industrial area.
Parking is available along Kent, along the tracks.
Seafood here is a bit pricey, but the quality is top notch. My understanding is that everything here is flash frozen, which should come in useful if one wants to make sashimi. The place is pretty crammed, but fortunately there aren't too many customers.
Definitely worth a visit if one wants seriously fresh seafood.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 7, 2023
This place is awesome for seafood! I've been coming here for years now. I get my salmon, halibut and whatever fresh fish they have in season. The service is also better now than it was before. Their pricing is very good compared to other places in the city. They have a few spots for parking out front but you can also park up the street.......

I'm shocked with their generosity. In January, when I bought candied salmon, a cashier lady offered free vegetable soup in a glass container. I said "Thank you! I take one." But she was like, "No! Take six!" lol
Now in March, I stopped again and saw a pallet of the same jar again inside of the store. I had bad and good feeling when other cashier guy asked me "Are you walking?"
I said yes. Then he continued "If you can carry six jars, you can take. Or take some"
The vegetable soup was really delicious and not expired either. It could be some kind of campaign but honestly it's very very helpful because nowadays grocery is getting expensive. Thank you for good service and generosity. They are so friendly too.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0May 1, 2021Previous reviewI stopped by end of cycling. This store is located along bike lane and lots of cyclist stop too.
They have water tank on right side, fridge corner in front, freezer on left. There are jars for soup and paste.
I wish I could by maple flavored salmon nuggets but it was so huge! Luckily they had defrosted small batch with regular flavour in the fridge. It was delicious and I would say cheaper than the other fish store on Commercial Dr. Shrimp paste is good with cracker for fancy picnic. But be careful, it has lots of oil and your hands would be mess.
Definitely I will be back. It was so shame I didn't know this hidden gem even I live so close by! - May 8, 2022
Good selection of fresh and frozen seafood products found in an industrial area. We have gotten their ahi tuna (frozen), spot prawns (fresh) and halibut cheeks (fresh). The price is a teeny bit lower than market rate and everything is extremely fresh. After our purchase one time, the staff offered us a free six jars of soup! It was delicious tomato bisque and I will continue to visit for all my fishy needs.

There is no fresher fish in BC than this store. Unless you have a fish boat. You will not be disappointed.

I had the Simply Seafood Curry Soup and it was amazing! I would not change a thing. This soup was better than some I have had in some restaurants.
The soup was a yellow Thai curry and full of seafood. There were actual chunks of crab and fish and not just traces of seafood. It was really delicious.
I can hardly wait to try the rest of the soups and their other products. Go check them out.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
