Sj Car Detailing

My car had been neglected and looked like it had been through a dust storm (thanks, California!), but after reaching out to Sergio, it's gleaming like new. He did an amazing job on both the interior and exterior for a great price. I couldn't believe how well they got all the grime and dirt out of the nooks and crannies inside, and the outside paint job looks like a mirror. I also needed help getting rid of a lingering cannabis smell, which was now has been replaced by an amazing new car smell.

Sergio was friendly, professional, and explained everything clearly. He was able to complete the work in at my apartment's parking lot which was a huge help! I will definitely be back and highly recommend SJ Car Detailing to anyone looking for a top-notch detailing service.

Professional men with great experience. Sergio took care of an interior cleaning for me after my cat peed on one of my car seats on our way to the vet.

The service I got was interior detailing, Odor removal and car seat steaming.

They cleaned/shampooed my car seats. Cleaned the dash and vacuumed. Took about 1 hour for a Jeep 4-door.

The only unfortunate surprise was hearing the steaming of the seats was not included in the cost of the interior detailing. Here were the costs:

-$120 (discount) interior cleaning
-$50 odor removal
-$50 car seat steaming

Overall a bit pricy compared to other quotes I was getting but I am satisfied with the quality these nice men delivered.

The car smells cleaner and the cat pee odor is gone so I'd say the job was done well. I'd recommend if you can afford it.

Sergio is a great sales man, he can talk very well of his service. I called him to detail and deodorize my Chevy Volt and we agreed on a $200 service fee, he then sent me his price sheet, see below:

We agreed that I would come to his place for service and that I could take a short walk to a nearby mall while waiting for him to complete the work, which was expected to take a couple of hours. He texted me less than an hour later. I replied, asking if he had enough time to finish the service, but received no response. When I picked up the car, the interior had been half-done and the exterior had not been touched. When I complained that he had not performed the job described on his price list, he argued that I should have paid $50 more for an exterior wash. A ten-year-old could have done a better job.

- Subpar work quality in terms of interior detailing
- Missed attention to details (grease, tree sap, spillage)
- Cleaning fell short of expected detailing standards
- Hood cleaning (at extra cost) required additional work from me to finish the job

I think Sergio provided great service for the price. He was charging $180 for full interior and exterior detail while for instance Titan Auto Detailing in SJ was quoting me $490. It wasn't perfect, but I would still recommend his service and would go back to him again. I think that is the highest praise I can give a company.

This review is for a detail job of a 2008 Toyota Sequoia.

Sergio responded to my inquiry promptly and scheduling was quick and easy. He and his partner showed up on time and got straight to detailing the interior of the car, which was much appreciated.

Communication: 4/5 - I wasn't home when Sergio came but he was very accommodating and communicated with my bf. I knocked off one star only because when I initially messaged him he quoted me a different price due to the confusion of the size of the car even though I mentioned the make and model of the car).

Service: 4/5 - The interior job was great! Everything was clean and Sergio even got off some stains from the leather seats. I knocked off one star because the exterior detail was not as clean as other jobs I've had done. There were still bugs remnants on the right side mirrors and below the grill. The top of the car was not as clean as I would have liked as there were still a bit of soap marks.

Overall Sergio's service was good. I think there is still some room for improvement, but I would use his service again for my smaller cars.

Sergio and his team responded quickly, arrived on time and did a great job cleaning my car. It was absolutely filthy and they left it sparkling. He was also very easy to communicate and book with. I was so grateful he was able to see me the very next day. Definitely give this business a chance. I will be using SJ car detailing again!

I requested to get my truck detailed on yelp because I have kids and if anyone you know they destroy cars. Sergio responded to my request within minutes. He provided me his rates and honestly they were great prices and the best part was he comes to you. We were able to schedule on Saturday at 9am. When he arrived he was very professional and was ready to work. He finished my truck within an hour and my truck looks like how I first got it. He made suggestions in regards to things he found while cleaning my truck which shows he cares and shows his knowledge. I will be a regular client with SJ car detailing!

Had my car detailed this morning it turned out exceptional. Sergio responded to my request for an estimate almost immediately his prices are very reasonable. He showed up on time and finished the job quickly! I am very satisfied and will use this service again in the future
