Does they close strictly at 8pm and kick everyone out or do they let whoever is still inside finish up without feeling like they are being rushed out?

      A:

If I were you I would honestly call them because I went during the day I honestly can't imagine they would kick you out that's like you ordering food at a restaurant and as soon as it serve u. That would not be good business

      Taylor A.
    • Q:

How is parking there around 1pm? Any street parking blocks?

      A:

On a sunday otherwise your better off taking the subway or parking in a garage. Cheaper then a parking ticket or tow

So we decided to get out and check out the sloomoo slime place and definitely delivered a great time for the kids, we had a small walk through with a few things to do and have fun putting together our own slime custom. We've added color and sent and little goodies inside that they give you to finish it up. They have a mini glow in the dark cave which was fun and also the layout for the kids was great as they were all entertained. Attach youd see the photos and hope anyone coming out has a great time as we have.

Be mindful it's really targeted for younger children as they get amused by any little thing but adults can't join in on the fun

Sloomoo was really fun and interactive, my kids loved slime and was so fascinated by it. There was so many opportunities to play with slime, very colorful and at the end was the best part because we all created our own slime.
We got to pick out a color, smell, accessories, glitter and more!
It was not expensive, not packed oh and I almost forgot to mention that my kids had slime dumped on their heads which was exciting and super fun. Great times I would recommend this place for any parents who kids love slime!

Watch the owner copy & paste the same response he/she did to all the other 1 star reviews like they have zero emotion...let's see. This is important as they are just solely focused on profits in my opinion, read on.

I have been to easily over 100 events in NYC born and raised here and this establishment is one of the worst in terms of value/service for what you pay in my opinion. Avoid. There are a LOT of AMAZING events in NYC.

So obviously most people will go with a parent/children/group. So you will spend minimum 100-200 dollars if you are planning a visit. I saw some parents that did not look happy just doing their phone/sitting on a tiny chair while their kid just plays with a ball of slime you can buy online for 5-10 bucks max.

The place itself is small and not a museum like setting which I anticipated. It felt more like a small hobby shop. Just felt disengaged as well , unless you literally walk up to the associates to ask what to do , they didn't care. I spent the first 5 mins just dazed not knowing what to do and no one was polite enough to lead me when I was lost until I asked directly.

The idea and concept is great but the max I would pay to be honest is 15-20 dollars for the experience. It is basically just a playground with many small fountains with a glob of goo that is probably infested with germs from so many kids touching it with their hands after picking their noses. The exhibits where you see stuff on screens felt cheap and didn't give any nice experience.

The only way they probably justified 50 dollars is letting you make your own slime but again , there are dozens of places you can buy or make slime for a fraction of the price max 10-15 dollars. I don't recommend this spot. Just a quick cash grab using children's obsession over slime thanks to social media like tik tok and YouTube in my opinion.

Slimemoo cost $50 on a Saturday afternoon, per person. When you enter you are asked to write your name on a name tag. I thought there would've been an experience where you would mingle with people or like a class session where strangers would need to know your name but it wasn't.

We were then entertained by a slingshot slime ran by an employee. . The entire room was filled with large cups of slime for everyone to touch and experience. All of them were scented and had a description of its texture. You can play with it as long as you want. Then, there is a section where you can have slime thrown all over you. Not quite like Nickelodeon, but it costs an extra $32pp.
They are equipped with one bathroom, one toilet.

The place is bright and colorful and filled with slime joy, however the employees don't appear so happy to be there ... less than half were smiling... for $50pp and 1 hour, I need ecstatic individuals and even a tour guide to teach us and show us around the small institute.

There were about 3 rooms and one playarea for 5 min. Of course there's a gift shop prompting to buy more slime even though you ate already given one for free.

I would not go again, and would not recommend going because it is nothing much to see and well overpriced.

My family and I brought the package to have the slime dropped on top of us. I will say that it's around 75 a pop which is very expensive. (Regular is about 50) As a one time experience, I think it's okay. The institute acts like an interactive museum for slime lovers. If you LOVE slime this is absolutely worth it as you also make your own slime, and touch a whole bunch of different ones as well.
Place is relatively clean despite a flurry of kids and the staff are very friendly. It does suck that children do not receive a discount and are the same price as adults no matter how young.
However, if they love slime and you want to treat them, they would love this place.
Warning: That slime smell is going to haunt you right after haha

Paid $200 for two tickets instead of $100--guess I really wanted to support the arts! Luckily, customer service was on the ball and quickly fixed any issues. Now I can get back to enjoying the show without any detective work!

This is either a 5 or a 2. For my 11 year old slime obsessed daughter... It's a 5+. I wondered how we could be in a small place for very long. Well when you have someone who can play with each slime vat for 5-10 minutes, it isn't hard to stay for almost two hours.

So the setup pretty simple. There's about twenty vats of different types of slime to play with plus you build your own. The other things at the "museum" are pretty quick - slingshot, slime pile, walk on slime, ASMR stuff.

We did the first timeslot of the day which I recommend. It was a busy Monday holiday and it definitely got backed up. I thought the staff was energetic and kind. It was pretty clean in the museum but the bathroom was a little gross.

Why it would be a 2 for many adults who did not grow up slime obsessed: it's $48 to touch a bunch of slime with kids running around everywhere, with one slime to keep. I don't think that's a great value proposition for many adults. But this was the highlight of my daughter's trip and a memory she'll keep forever.

We recently visited the Sloomoo Institute with some friends for my son's 6th birthday. My kiddos are huge slime fans, and we don't really like them playing with slime in the house, so this outing was PERFECT.

There were was a lot of different slime centered activities for the kids to enjoy. We basically followed a U pattern to complete the activities. Each entry ticket allows the kids, and adults to create their own slime. They get to select the type of slime they would like, the color, scent, and then at the end they even get to add 3 little toys to the slime.

The staff was very nice, and helped with the kids. The place was crowded as we went during spring break! I'd definitely recommend this activity with the kiddos!

The staff was very friendly and informative. The kids had an amazing memorable time! It's a good treat for the kids to run around touching everything, while parents can freely roam in the A/C-ed building reading the history of slime. Had a great gift shop for slime lovers as well! The free slime was a little slow to move, but still very friendly!

I took my kids here to do the experience on a Sunday and it was no problem getting tickets the day of. I got them online and almost every time slot was available. Upon arrival, there is a shop that non-ticketed people can go into with one slime pit you can play in. We signed our waivers and washed our hands and were taken into the first room to watch the orientation video. From there, we were on our own to explore. We could have spent as long as we wanted in there.

The first area was a large slime wall where you can add your own slime and watch it drip. From there, there were a ton fo different slime buckets you could feel, play with, and smell. You learn about the slime as well. There is a thing where you can shoot a slime ball with a large slingshot at someone behind glass, this was fun! There were some trivia booths, ASMR sounds, and even a class to attend.

We did not pay extra to get slimed, but we watch as people did, getting slime showered. At the end, you get to choose and make your own slime. From the color, small, and texture, you get to pick it all and add some charms. There is a small play area where kids can play on small structures. It was a good experience, but a but pricey for what you get. We spent over an hour there.
