I just checked in and fully expected everything to be closed. I was happy to settle for chips and a soda. I was surprised to see this place in walking distance when I opened my Uber Eats app! I thought I was looking for a restaurant so I walked past it. It's a FOOD TRUCK!

      It's open until midnight.

My burger was fresh off the grill and my Cajun fries were seasoned to perfection. I placed my orders on the touchscreen keypad/menu and before I could make it back to my room, it was ready.

I was just here because I had a long layover and refused to sleep in the airport. I'm full and satisfied. Might order the lodes fries for my long connecting flights

I devoured my food before I thought to take a picture of it.

This place is so close to being a go to spot, it hurts! Unfortunately, it was all slightly off. I ordered the Smash burger, that comes with two patties. I added grilled jalapeños and I ordered my special sauce on the side. There was only one thing wrong with my burger. My patties were a little overcooked, crispy and on the verge of being dry. I also ordered the special sauce on the side. I wanted to get the full flavor of the meats. And I tell you what, next time the sauce will be on the burger. The fries were fresh, tasty but not as crispy as it should be and were lukewarm. I'm telling you, this place is seriously close to being a go to, better barely missing the mark. I will be back tho.
I also enjoyed the way I ordered. You can hit the QR code, order on your phone or use their order pad, that is mounted on the side of the truck. You touched the screen, pick out exactly what you want, with a bunch of options, pay and wait for your food. I paid, heard a beep inside the truck and the guy started moving and grooving. I got lucky today, because there were no other customers and my food was ready in about 5 to 10 minutes.
I wouldn't say it's a truck where you can eat your food at. Unfortunately this truck is running on a generator, which is making an obnoxious amount of racket. I feel bad for the guy inside the truck, because it's gotta be amplified inside. The truck is also located in front of a hookah lounge, that is open after 4 PM. I wonder what it sounds like inside of there. Guys, there are quieter generators!
At the end of the day, it was an average meal and they could've possibly had a bad day. I will definitely swing by again and give them another shot.

Was my burger made on an off day?

I ordered online and literally picked it up asap, getting there before they even said completed on my phone text.

My burger was lukewarm and very dry. The cheese wasn't even melted, or maybe it just solidified again. Anyways, the temperature was way off. My Cajun fries were cold and not at all lukewarm or hot like I would have hoped. We wound up dumping them. None of us wanted cold fries.

I don't care about the higher prices. I'll pay for quality any day. I just want my burger to not be dry, and to be hot, and for my fries to be hot too.

I'm all about supporting small business and food trucks because I believe in them and want them to succeed so I hope they don't get angry and instead us this as constructive criticism that I DO like their food IF it were hot and fresh, which is what anyone would want. Very few people want cold fries and lukewarm meat.

The taco was equally dry and lukewarm to cold. My friend was super disappointed. Also, just so you know, I did order through the app and when I picked it up, we ate it right away, so it's not like I drove around letting the food get cold.

3 stars for average. The veggies on the burger were fresh, and I like their truck location. They just need to work on the temperature of the food because we don't like cold fries and a lukewarm dry burger and dry coldish taco.

I gave this food truck a 4/5 stars. The smash burgers and tacos were really good and needed little bit more of salt/pepper; for me. The fries came out good as well but it's thick crinkle cut so a little more time in the fryer doesn't hurt. And it's halal so I'll be back!

      Went for Lunch

Food - 3/5. Smash quesadilla was alright. We kept it simple with some vegetables and ranch which kept the flavors light and paired well with the beef and cheese. However, the burger only covers the center of the quesadilla, leaving most of the quesadilla being either plain tortilla or just vegetables. Tortilla could've been toasted better as it was only lightly grilled in the center. This resulted in most of the tortilla being floppy with no texture. Smash burger was assembled better leading to a nice ratio of burger, cheese, vegetables on a well toasted bun. The special sauce had a nice appearance with an interesting grey color scheme, but tasted mostly of mayo. Fries were fantastic being golden brown with a great crispy texture. The seasoning was delicious with hints of lemon and plenty of pepper counterbalancing the fried flavor.

Service - 4/5. Friendly and quick service. Order can also be done online and food was prepared in a timely manner.

Value - 2/5. Main entrees a la carte will run you around $15 while a combo including fries and a drink will be around $19. Portion sizes are fine, but the price felt too high for the quality, particularly on the quesadilla.

Service for this place is great! You can order from the touch screen in front or online in advance to save you time. Service grade: A

I would give this burger a 4.7 overall. I was very impressed by the quality of the products this burger was assembled with. The brioche bun was one of the best I've had. The bun holds well and keeps everything together. For the add-ons I ordered, I ordered it with everything which includes Lettuce, Tomato, Fresh Onion, Grilled onions, Grilled Jalapeños, and Pickles. I did not get the beef bacon which was an additional $2. I wanted to try it this way first. The burger was awesome. I wished the patty was seasoned a bit more and it would be my version of "perfect". I was legit impressed. Burger grade: A/A-

I did get the meal which is an awesome deal. You get a great portion of fries and a drink. I opted for the Cajun seasoning on the fries. The seasoning wasn't overpowering which is great! They were crispy, hot, and perfectly fried. Fries grade: A

The truck is located in front of Cloudz Hookah Lounge when in operation.

My overall grade is an A for Smasherz. Job well done!

I've been curious for a while about this food truck and boy am I mad at myself for stopping to try it out. I never thought that a food place that uses tech would catfish you with their pics when they can easily switch out the pics. I stopped by and asked what was recommended and was told that everyone's fave is the smash burger (ghee thanks) but it's your preference what you put on it. So I try there firey secret sauce (taste like hot sauce mixed with thousand island), with lettuce, tomatoes, and grilled onions. What I got was a very sad looking burger with warmed up onions vs grilled onions and my least favorite style of fries (crinkle cut). Oh and the most laughable part was is their offering of a tiny knock off flavored ranch (think of an off brand version of Krafts dressing) for a large portion of fries (pic is only a handful grabbed out of the container) The plus side is that all my food was hot and the fries were abundantly seasoned but past that I was definitely not impressed. Can't say I will ever be back. Total cost-$27.60 (includes a 15% tip given before receiving my food)

Fire. Fries were exactly what I would want out of them. Crispy on the outside & pillowy on the inside.

Secret sauce was on point & gave it the burger that special Smasherz twang.

Another interesting concept on how to serve food if you don't have a kitchen. It's a food truck in front of the hooka bar . Pleasantly surprised with the quality of the burger and so many sauces to choose from. Parking can be challenging but it's worth it if you want to try a different taste. Plan to return to try the other things on The menu. Pricey but it can be a special treat. The staff are friendly and seating is good inside. Not sure how it would be with smokers though .

Amazing tacos! I first came here for the burgers and decided to get an order of the tacos as well and glad I did! The tacos were amazing! It came with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, on a soft tortilla. The three tacos were very filling and flavorful. I would recommend the spicy sauce with it. The service is quick with their Mobile app. Totally worth a try.
