Sora Sushi House

We were walking back to our apartment on a Wednesday evening and decided to call in an order for take out. We expected it to take 15-20 minutes, but didn't realize we were so close and decided to check to see if it was ready after only about 10 minutes. Sure enough, since it was slow, they were just finishing packaging it up for us. It is a cute little place and the staff were super friendly and we were chatting it up while they finished our order.
When we got back, we were shocked at the size of the rolls. Being from California we are used to something smaller and more expensive, so seeing these massive rolls made us realize we definitely ordered too much. At the price point this place is an incredible deal. The sushi itself was also really good, high quality fish, beautifully prepared. The veggie roll was a lot of fun for our toddler and for us. If we are ever back in New Westminster we will definitely be back.

Food - it's okay. Not special, though. Sorry.

Service - self-service

Ambience- I think it's better to "to go," than "dining in." Not romantic date. Just like student-mode- cafeteria

First time coming here today, I just couldn't give up trying this place. Definitely a gem in New Westminster if your looking for fresh good sushi at a fair price. Definitely will make this place one if my "must visit" places whenever I'm in New Westminster looking for fresh sushi. I highly recommend you try this place. The chef and cashier (wife/lady) are nice and friendly.

This is a great address to add to your to go list.
At first, I judged by the dining room, it's very basic but the tenants were very nice.
The good was amazing and very affordable. I truly recommend this sushi place.
They have a self service for tea and dishes. I liked that, instead of always having to call or wait.
This is a very simple place and I like that.

Good quality sushi, fresh and ample servings. Atmosphere is very good; similar ambiance to sushi restaurants in Japan. Service very good. Small/limited seating, tile floor and walls but very comfortable. Most of their business appears to be take-out. Would I go again? Definitely!

Big sushi rolls with good fillings for a great price. They have lots of nice special rolls and always nice presentation. My go to place for take out sushi.

Great value for the price. I got the Maki Combo A, had 3 huge rolls, it was enough for both lunch and dinner for me, for about $14. I'm not huge on Philadelphia rolls so I'll probably get a different combo next time. Quality and quantity were solid, though!

The people working there seemed friendly, and a lot of care went into the presentation, with a little bonus arrangement of cherries in the box. Forgot to take a photo though.

Cute little place with delicious sushi at a good price. And it's right near Douglas college which is convenient for me. They also offer a 10% student discount for orders 10$ and over.
