I was referred to Sounds Good audio by the mechanic that checked out my new used car I had just purchased. The car was great but the stereo system sucked big time!
I am THRILLED by the service I got here. Ruben, the manager suggested a sound system and said I could expect a 20 to 30 percent improvement. Our plan was to go ahead with just the stereo and leave the speakers. This Kenwood stereo is awesome. It has modernized my car, the sound is SPECTACULAR, and I also have a back up camera and android auto.
I would give these guys 7 out of 5 stars if I could! The workmanship is superior! My husband- who never likes anything- is so impressed by the work they did - he just keeps saying "Wow! They did a great job!"
If you are looking for good sound and great customer service - check this store out! I give it 2 thumbs up!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - E S.Burnaby, Canada013Jun 26, 2021
Bought a rearview dash cam for my husband and realized it was too complicated to install ourselves correctly. Called Rueben and he fit us in over the weekend. Rueben and his team take great pride in their work and if you have a nice car and want a professional install completed, this is the place to go. All wiring is hidden and the craftsmanship is superb. Rueben explained to us what to expect and the limitations of possible outcomes. However, he over delivered in his service, everything installed is above our expectations. They managed to complete the install without having to remove the bumper, which made us extra happy. Totally honest business. So happy with our experience here and we will definitely go back for some audio upgrades on our other vehicles. Can't recommend this place more :) 10 stars if we could!

I had to get daytime running lights installed on a US vehicle that I wanted to register in British Columbia. I came here on the recommendation of a local auto enthusiasts forum, and was not disappointed. The manager Reuben told me to bring the car in for an estimate; when I arrived, he told me it would cost around $250 and that he could finish the installation that afternoon (excellent). When I came to pick up the vehicle, he told me that it was easier than I expected, and would only cost $200. What a deal! Furthermore, he showed me how they solder all the wiring rather than using the plastic clips and twists that many other shops use. I could not be more satisfied with the service and cannot recommend this shop enough. Major thumbs up!

Most repair shop could milk one or two extra hours on installation. I bought my own sub amp and went in for installation. They checked the sub in person and said would work fine on my vehicle and booked me in for install. However on the day of install, they'll just tell u they don't work together if they think u don't know shit about cars. Then tried to upsale you their own amp for 300$ and bass nob for 100$. Everything then totals up to 2000$. If you don't pay then they will charge 200$ for the 1 hour of nothing being installed. Then tells you could save a bit of money if they don't hide the wires, LMFAO. Worst scam experience and I wonder if they even feel bad out of sympathy.

Best shop in town, no question. These guys know what they are doing and take real pride in their work.
They have gone above and beyond on more than one occasion.
I've had my last 2 cars done by them and I won't go anywhere else.
No need to look further. Quality work by a group that cares about the customer.
Thanks Ruben and Team!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - John K.New Westminster, Canada04Nov 3, 2017
I had an alarm installed at SoundsGood about 6 months ago. I'm very happy with the results so now that I finally have a moment I want to make sure to show my appreciation by leaving a review.
Customer service was excellent: My vehicle is an older work van but I was treated like one of their high end customers.
Work quality is excellent: There were some quirks with the way the alarm interacted with the interior lighting system and these guys solved the issue. Everything works as expected.
I'm happy with the service and the product and highly recommend SoundsGood. I would do business with them again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Angel C.Burnaby, Canada158208Feb 2, 2019
When my FIAT 500's driver's door speaker got blown I didn't know where to turn to. I went to my dealership and they told me the speakers made by FIAT were worth $9 and that they'd be covered under warranty - however, being the audiophile that I am I did not want to keep replacing cheap speakers over and over. Luckily I read the online reviews of SOUNDSGOOD and they did not disappoint. Ruben (the manager) was incredibly friendly and approachable from the moment I entered his shop. He assured me that he had previously worked on my car's model. Ruben also took the time to ask me about the genres of music I listen to and recommended speakers accordingly. He gave me a few options and asked about my budget and the final price ended being close to what we had agreed upon. The job was completed on the same day and the bass and overall sound is very good. I would recommend dealing with SOUNDSGOOD/Ruben to anyone who is looking for car audio installation/repairs.

I got a new car audio deck for Christmas and had no idea where to get it installed. Did a quick search and this place had good reviews. This was for good reason, they are friendly, helpful, and all around great. I happened to pop in at just the right moment as they had an opening and they had my deck installed in just under an hour. The manager, Reuben, was the one that helped me and explained all the options to me. While I was waiting he also gave me some advice on some improvements I could make for my speakers. Told him what I was looking for and he made great recommendations, did not try to over sell or up sell me to anything crazy but suggested just what I needed to fit my needs. I'll be back soon to get those speakers installed in my car!
