This place gets 5 stars on aesthetics and also manages to get 5 stars on the massage itself!

One of the best massages I've ever had. The masseuse was very accommodating and checked in often enough to ensure I was satisfied with the pressure and everything.

We did the couple's massage where they had 2 beds in one room, was a nice setup, felt relaxing, spacious, and luxurious. This is probably the fanciest independent massage place in the Bay Area. The fancy hotels that have massages will have nowhere near the quality of massage that this place does.

We paid about $200 for 2 people for a couple's massage plus tip for a 1 hour massage which we felt was reasonable given the level of massage and amenities. Receptionist was nice and everything went on time as scheduled. We used their website to book which was pretty straightforward. It's in downtown San Mateo so pretty easy to find with street parking. Highly recommend it's totally worth it. If you're thinking of a gift for your significant other, you can't go wrong with this place, they will be so impressed ;)

I highly recommend this place. From the very front room you can tell how elegant, polished, and professional the service is going to be. Light music and an amazing aroma was present throughout the entire place. Each person was extremely nice as well. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and then immediately serviced once we filled out what type of massage we wanted. The rooms were very comfortable and the massage was incredible. I loved it so much and am confident you will too!

What a hidden gem!

For anyone who loves massages, facials, anything spa (away from your kids related) this is the spot.

You walk in and instantly get the smell of a luxury spa! The decor and aesthetics are on point and quality! Emphasis on the quality

The receptionist Angie is so friendly and nice and very accommodating with scheduling and tending to the client.

The spa is beautiful on the inside! The rooms and (like I mentioned above) the decor/aesthetics are amazing!

The I got the Siam Aroma Harmony massage and it started with a warm rose petal water soak and massage and then an amazing Thai massage from Karn! She was super gentle but surprised me with how much pressure she could give! As in I like medium to hard pressure and it was on point!!!

Also, Apple, the owner, she is so nice and friendly and introduced herself to me.

The aftercare with the cutest little cups and set for tea was such a cherry on top.

Nice new spa but also very reasonably priced compared to other places I've seen/been to. We did their couples's Thai massage and both thought they did a great job at tackling our problem areas. Left the place feeling stretched and relaxed!

We also booked a same day appt and they were able to accommodate. The door says that that take walk ins too so love the convenience.

I've been seeing the 'Coming Soon' sign forever and decided to try it last month in June! They were having a 20% off promo deal going on which was a nice surprise when I paid for the 90 min Swedish massage. First off, I knew from some pictures that this place would be luxurious, but I was still blown away when I arrived! The lobby, hallways, bathroom, and massage room were gorgeous, relaxing, and the music and aroma of the place was very *spa*!
Definitely the most luxe spa I've been to so far in the Bay Area. I also loved the foot soak and scrub before starting the massage. The only other time I've experienced this was at a resort in Palawan. It's a very nice addition to the service.

My masseuse was Karn. I told her to focus on my upper back, neck, and shoulders, and if she could do my scalp too. I should've clarified I meant the base of my scalp, because she just ran her fingers through my hair a lot and massaged the roots. She did try to take my shoulder knots out though, which not everyone does. I'm always between a light to medium pressure, because I often go to Thai places and their medium I cannot handle anywhere other than my back lol. Usually it's fine but she was pretty light on my legs and arms and I should have told her to add more pressure. The massage was good but I think I may go with a different masseuse next time. Either way I still dozed off for part of it which is always a good sign. I will be back!

My only regret with my appointment at Spa Siam Orchid was that I booked it for 90 minutes instead of 60 minutes. I made an appointment at Spa Siam Orchid in April and took advantage of their Grand Opening discount. Even without the discount, the experience is worth the full price! While it's not a full fledge spa with amenities like Burke Williams or the St Regis, it's a wonderfully pampered luxe experience. The spa is gorgeous adorned with lots of gold and flowers, and felt very serene. I used to frequent the fitness studio that was previously in this space, and it's amazing to see what Spa Siam Orchid has done to transform the space!

I easily booked through MINDBODY, a 60 minute Swedish with Yuki and she was so sweet. The 60 minutes does start once you get in the room, and includes a foot soak with a light foot and leg massage. Whatever lotion and scrub they use smells so good as well! Yuki checked in with me and asked my several times how the pressure was and such. While I tend to like between semi light and medium pressure I don't think I can handle a traditional Thai massage even if they were lightly stepping on me. lol maybe someday I can build up to it as I know lots rave about Thai massages.

I can't wait to come back again for another pampering massage!

My sister & I came here with our mom for a Mother's Day massage & we all left feeling relaxed & refreshed! I first heard of Spa Siam through an IG post and since then have been dying to come try this spot! And wow, talk about a luxury experience!! The space is beautifully decorated & the aromas the minute you walk in makes you feel instantly relaxed.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted & our massage therapists, Ranee, Lala & Cherry showed us to the restrooms then to our individual rooms. We all got 60 min Swedish massages.

My massage therapist was Ranee who instructed me to get undressed, put the robe on & let her know when I was ready. She came back into the room & soaked my feet in a basin with warm water then began with a jasmine rice scrub for my feet and calves. The jasmine rice scrub smells soooo good!! I also heard they actually sell it in store so might have to pick some up next time! The massage itself was very much needed. Ranee found a few knots in my shoulder area and informed me that she'd apply a little more pressure which I really appreciated (I initially indicated medium pressure). She was very attentive to the areas that I wanted more attention on (neck, shoulders and lower back). Honestly felt like I was in heaven for an hour & didn't want the massage to end! After our massages we were greeted with a cup of hot tea & water.

Overall, I cannot wait to be back!! My sister and I used to only go to spas that had amenities but now we prioritize a great massage over an okay massage+amenities. I will definitely be back again & hopefully my knots won't be as tough on Ranees hands lol.

What a hidden gem! They opened about 4-5 months ago and came up on my search when looking for a massage. I got the 60 min Swedish and my only gripe is your time starts when you get into the room.. meaning even when you are changing it's part of the 60 min. Aside from that, service was friendly and I was able to find parking on the street easily. I enjoyed the luxury spa feel of the place and even the bathrooms were nicer than the spas I normally go to.

One of the most beautiful if not the most beautiful spa I have ever seen. Very elegant design with all the plants at the lobby waiting area. Soothing aroma once you step in the door and very very calming music in the background. The lobby has a side section filled with a variety of healthy snacks and lots of options for different type of tea
The massage was so awesome. Ronnie also stretched me out toward the end of the session and I felt like I can fly after. The pressure is on point and all the spots that Ronnie hit was amazing. Truly grateful and relaxed after. Feel like I had a new body after.
