Spartan Moving and Transport

First and foremost this is by far the best moving company. I have moved quite a lot especially when I moved from NYC.

One of the owners Christie is a pleasure to speak with and has organized a great team made up of Dominic, George and Mike. These guys work well with each other, the fastest and efficient movers.
Dom is the lead, George is the muscle and Mike is master organizer in the truck.
I would recommend three movers and these are who I recommend. Very nice, friendly, professional and very experienced.

Our movers were Juan, Dom, and Jesus, and they were so positive, helpful, and hardworking! It was enjoyable to spend the day with them, and it was obvious that they were invested in doing a good job, and that they cared about our belongings and our homes.

We are so grateful that this move turned out to be exactly what was promised, and that this company was so professional and ethical. We will definitely use them, if needed, in the future, and we highly recommend them, as well!

This is not the first moving company I have used and they were the best. There were no unexpected surprises, the movers were never Just lagging, they were smart (especially Joe) and polite. You can't ask for more.

We hired this moving company to help with our move. The movers are friendly, and they helped move most of our things without much damage. There was some miscommunication regarding what priority items needed to be moved first, which resulted in items that should have been moved but didn't. We contacted the company and they were able to reimburse some of the money back. Overall, it is a solid moving company!

First off, Christie (operator) was quick to respond to my request for a quote. She was very prompt to answer my inquiries about her hourly rate and price. I appreciated how the first 3-hour flat rate covered everything with no hidden fees (e.g., number floors, assembly/disassembly, etc).

As for the movers, Dominic & Martin were very expedient and courteous. Outstanding customer service hands down. Dominic was very thorough in ensuring my furniture, including my TV, was packaged properly at my old apartment. They shrink wrapped most of my furniture and covered my valuable items with moving blankets accordingly. Martin was great at communicating the plan from start to finish. He was very respectful and made sure all my requests were fulfilled. I was lucky to have both movers as professional as they came.

I moved from a 3rd floor 1-bedroom unit to a 3rd floor 2-bedroom apartment unit. No easy task. First off, they handle your furniture with delicate care using shrink wrap and protective blankets. They were able to make my move smooth and stress free. The entire move took about 6 hours with 2 movers. Perhaps for a similar move, consider hiring a 3rd mover to speeden things up and lighten the load for each mover. I couldn't have asked for more. Again, Dominic and Martin were phenomenal at their jobs. I'd definitely recommend Spartan to friends and family.

We didn't use them for a move, but hired them to take a super wide 550 pound tub into our master bedroom on the second story of our house.

We recently went through renovations at our place and got a new bathtub. We received quotes from other businesses that were going to charge us thousands of dollars to move this tub upstairs, and spoke with companies that said it couldn't be done based on the dimensions and weight of the tub. We even had one company come in to evaluate to see if moving this tub was possible, and we were advised that it would be impossible to move the tub without completely removing all of our railings and quoted us around 1000 dollars, not including the cost of removing the railings and re installing them.

We did not want to go through this process, and we happened to come across Spartan Moving. They quoted us a reasonable price and we booked them to see if moving the tub upstairs would be possible. The first time they came in, three people arrived to assist with the move and after some evaluation, Christy let us know that it might be too dangerous for her movers to try and move the tub upstairs. The movers were willing to try but we did not want to risk any serious injury. Christy mentioned that it could still be possible if we had more manpower. We rescheduled and she sent 4 people ( a friend also came to assist) and they were able to get our tub upstairs into our master bathroom!

We thought this was going to be an impossible task but Christy and her crew were able to come up with a solution, saved us an incredible amount of money and headaches of having to completely remove all of our railings. We recently went through some massive renovations and did not want to deal with another project to manage on our plate.

The movers were great and worked extremely hard to get our tub upstairs as it was not an easy task.

I would highly recommend Spartan!

Just got done a couple weeks ago using the Spartan moving service. I was leaving a single-story home and going to a two-story home. I had everything all boxed up and ready to go but they made the move so much easier.

They showed up on time, they had three guys and they were very courteous and very careful with my stuff.

If you're looking for a budget moving service, this is not it. But ask yourself, how much is your stuff worth to you? I like paying a little extra to ensure everything is safely brought over and it was.

I would not hesitate to use their service again.

I also want to mention that the girls that answer the phones and emails are very nice, very sweet, and read emails within 1 to 2 minutes of sending. I love that kind of communication!

Such a great service experience with Spartan. Christie was great to work with as she was quick in response and answered all of our questions and provided expectations for moving day. She also followed up with all details we spoke about. On moving day, Dominic, Martin, and George were right on time and very pleasant to work with. They moved quick and communicated on any questions they had regarding our items. Handled everything with care - wrapped furniture and layed down runners to help protect carpet. If I were to move again, I'd definitely work with Spartan and recommend them.

I cannot say enough nice things about Christie and the movers. The entire process was super easy, efficient and the value for the service provided was priceless. Getting a quote that included everything (packing anything and wrapping items for the move, no additional mileage charges or other hidden charges) was done quickly after my initial contact through Yelp.

The movers showed up on time (they were actually early) and after a quick walk through, they got right to work and loaded up the truck efficiently and very carefully. They were professional, thorough and moved everything very carefully. I would not hesitate to use them again.
