I used this company to help with general sprinkler repairs, and they were responsive, efficient, and professional. All of the initial problems were repaired and even guaranteed.

A few months later, we knocked off a cap installing a children's playset. Because we wanted it finished in time for a birthday party, we went ahead and finished the project anyway covering the leak with rock and rubber tiles. Ramon came with a small crew and capped the leak under the playset, and replaced the tiles to perfection. They were extremely careful and now everything is working great and looks beautiful.

The tricky thing about an underground leak is that it's difficult to know how hard it will be to fix without seeing it. So I can appreciate the reluctance most companies have to provide an estimate, instead needing to charge to dig and diagnose first. But from my side, if I hire someone to dig and diagnose the leak, I'm pretty much hiring them to fix it, because with a leak tied to the main supply line I don't exactly have the luxury of shopping around after it's exposed. Ramon was able to provide a reasonable quote based on my explanation of the previous fix done in the area. What pushed me over was a 5 year warranty, providing peace of mind this issue would not bother us again.

After he completed the fix, I found a small leak in an unrelated irrigation valve. I asked him how much it would be to replace the valve, but I was surprised he suggested applying some teflon tape at the solenoid fitting, free of charge. It did the trick! Ramon came across as truly passionate about his trade and wanting to help his customers. Highly recommend!

My backyard sprinkler system is controlled by 2 valves. The right side sprinklers have not worked for years but I let it go to save repair costs and watered by hose. But recently on the left side, water was trickling out of several sprinkler heads so I could tell it wasn't just a broken pipe or head. I thought it was the water control valve that was failing. Definitely, the left side needed to be repaired so the yard wouldn't get saturated.

I made an appointment with SSR and they came over on time and we walked through the problem. I live in San Bruno and they are based in Fremont so I wasn't sure if their scope covered that much territory but it does. He came over and confirmed what I suspected with the valve. He could not repair it that day and we scheduled an appointment for later in the week.

When appointment day came, their office called ahead of time to inform me they were behind schedule and could not make the appointment and needed to reschedule. I was disappointed but appreciated that SSR called me and did not flake and waste my time. These days companies don't always communicate with their customers. We rescheduled for an upcoming Saturday which turned out was the day I had long-awaited golf plans. I had to rely on my wife and son to work with Sprinkler System Repair.

My family's interaction with SSR was great. Not only did they repair the backyard control valve problem but they also resolved some impromptu issues my wife brought up to them.

I believe it speaks very highly of SSR's integrity that they repaired the backyard sprinkler system problem that I needed solving but they also did not take advantage of my family when I wasn't there and in fact, were very courteous and friendly.

I'm hoping not to need SSR's services for the foreseeable future but I give them 5 stars as a recommendation to anyone looking for sprinkler system solutions.

The work is totally professional, and him such a good person to interact with. Repair cost is totally reasonable, and totally professional grade workmanship. We are grateful, and I highly recommend.

We changed our old sprinkler controller into a new one. So this controller starts to mess up our 11 water stations. My husband and the electrician didn't know how to fix these wires.
We were worried. It was a holiday. We suddenly found out that almost all sprinkler repair stores are closed for two days. And we are leaving town in four days. We have so many plants, roses and flowers in our yard. They may have a hard time surviving without water for months.

Then we were very lucky to talk to Ruby. She responded quickly. She arrived on time the next morning under freezing weather. Ruby is polite, she is quick, and she is professional. She worked for two hours. The cost was reasonable.
Most of all, Ruby has a gentle heart that makes her customers happy. We have a big yard. This job was complicated, she has a lot of patience fixing messy wires and checking 11 stations in our garden back-and-forth many times.

In the end, this job was done beautifully. I can't believe I met such a wonderful person Ruby today!

Excellent work and good price, as usual. This is the second time we have used Sprinkler System Repair. There was a leak in the underground pipe, just below the ground surface. Another gardener gave me a quote and estimated a huge, 6-foot hole to get to the pipe (ridiculous since I could uncover it with my fingers). Ramon at Sprinkler System Repair did the work for half the price; there was a cracked pipe joint which they replaced in half an hour. He also took a look at our sprinkler settings to optimize during this time of drought.

Knocked one star off due to difficulty communicating. Their Peninsula (main) number is very busy and the mailbox was full. Luckily the Pleasanton branch number has a voicemail, but I think they only check every other day. Cannot call and speak with a live person, you'll need to leave a message and have them return your call.

Wow. These guys were wonderful. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and installed our brand new sprinkler system in half a day! They showed me how to work the sprinkler system, demoed each zone and explained EVERYTHING I needed to know. We are very pleased with their service and definitely recommend them.
