My husband and I took two huge garbage bags of plastic bottles and aluminum cans for recycling. They have large receptacle containers for us to separate the plastics from the aluminum items.

The business may not be in the best area of Oakland, but it is the best in paying us for recycling compared to other places. Our two bags netted us $9.50. We're content with their service.

Had 10 garbage bags of household recycling. Glass and plastic bottles, aluminum cans, etc. They took it all and paid a better price than the supermarket recyclers. They also took a microwave no cash but no charge.

One issue: the day we were here we had to wait 10 minutes for plastic bins to put our recyclables in. Guess they got backed up. The customers were cutting in line, claiming not to speak English, etc. Need a more efficient process. Recommend coming early.

Once we got our bins the weighing and paying process was fast and efficient. Will definitely come back, but probably earlier in the day.

I have been recycling there for years. They have the best prices, the line is a little slow to because they check for non recyclables and empty out all liquids . You need an ID now and they do not accept walk-in. You have to drive in with a car. Best to sort before you arrive. They don't like the dumping of liquids in their parking lot. I won't go anywhere else.

This is always my first choice for a recycling center in Oakland, they have a private lot, pay the highest prices per pound, and accept almost every kind of glass or metal you could possibly want to sell. You don't need an ID to recycle small amounts of glass or aluminum here, but be sure to bring all the proper identification and paperwork to recycle large amounts of copper or scrap metal. Also, time your visit properly, if you come during lunch or break hours expect a moderate wait time before you get service.

This place gives you back way more money then the other recycling place that's only 2 blocks away by Mi Pueblo.
