Standard Parking

I wish they would have self parking here. It would be much faster and better!!! Since it's ONLY VALET parking, I am always wondering the following questions. What happened if they hit our cars? What happened if the valet guy is sick and driving your car, will I get sick? What happened if the valet guy takes your car and use it while you let them have your keys? What happened if the valet guy destroyed your car while operating it? I heard there is always a long line to get your cars checked in and a long time to get your cars. The line can be up to an hour long. People would be an hour late to work or to an event and an hour late to get home. How inconvenient is that???? TO make it simple, why can't they just let you SELF park your own car??????? Why does it have to be a VALET?????????????? I still don't quite understand that.....

Their employee Dante ALLOWED a group of girls to cut in line after a concert. The line was wrapped around and because she tipped him and dropped her ticket at their counter. He took it upon himself to allow this behavior. When confronted by everyone else standing in line, he stuttered and acted dumb. All he had to say was "what! she put her ticket on the desk." They both tried to act like they weren't doing anything wrong. He was sure proud of it when I asked for his name and informed him I would be writing a review and contacting management. Make sure to ask for DANTE, throw him some money and he'll allow you to cut a long line after a concert!

**EVENT PARKING WARNING** 770 L Street, Sacramento. This is valet parking, which means after concerts/events, they hold your keys hostage and you have to wait in a line longer than an amusement park line for them to bring your car. Absolutely the most ridiculous, inefficient waste of time. Don't be enticed by the $15 parking fee unless you want to wait over an hour or more to get on the road.

We sat in the entrance of the parking garage for an hour. Missed the first hour of our concert.

First time parking in the Union Bank Garage for the Tom Petty show at Golden 1 Center, a Friday night, on Memorial Day Weekend, phew. Actually wasn't bad!
You go down an alley and make your way to the second garage (as seen in the pic) and was super easy dropping it off (yay valet) and then AFTER the show too amazingly. About five people in front of us and then brought the cars out, few at a time, or you have the option to go get your car, and outside the garage, didn't take long to get on the freeway. People there also very nice in helping us get our car.

Highly recommended if you want something easy to get out of AND super close to Golden 1; was $20 for the night too so prices vary. And no restrooms also.

Consistently long waits. Whether before 8am or from 4:30pm onward. Consistently. There are other garages here that have smoother processes even with the rush hours.

No. Well at least not for work. This garage is valet only. It is ridiculous to pay 180.00 a month and be made to wait 20-30 minutes AFTER work to get your car. I can walk to 8th and W, get in my car and make it home sooner. And yes, sometimes they are rude. Also, once my passenger seat was all changed around, and askew. Moved up and forward. Why? What the hell were they doing in my car? Why would it ever be necessary to change the passenger seat??? It's creepy. Another time they even brought the wrong car! I parked here for two months after I got a new job. Never again though. I will park at the DGS lot and/or take light rail from now on.

Convenient since I work in the bldg. The attendants are pleasant. Thankful I am able to pay monthly.

There's a couple staff here that keep me from marking this review down to 1-star and when they're not working you can pretty much expect a really terrible customer service experience. This parking garage is right next to my office but I've given up parking here and will park a 5 blocks away because parking there and walking is literally twice as fast as waiting of these folks to park your car, or god help you, find your car. It doesn't matter how long the line is, most of these folks move at a snails pace, standing around staring at each other before deciding who will do what. In fact, on at least two occasions I came in after work to pick up my car and it took the over 1/2 an hour to find it! I feel bad for the good employees that work here and definitely will not be giving my money to these folks in the future.
