Just has a great experience with this company. I was worried about the wood siding of my house and they came and explained how I could repair it all myself and that I don't need anyone to do it for me. Told me exactly what I needed to do, how to do it, and specific products that would work well to repair the cracks and openings. Very refreshing experience by an honest small business.

Stephen Bass and team worked on a few projects for us back in 2021. (I'm a bit delayed in my review.) Projects included: Exterior painting, bad wood replacement, two garage to house / yard door replacements, new exterior lights and shutters.

Excellent communication from start to finish. Steve, the office manager, is on top of everything. Stephen Bass came to our house for the initial meeting. Quotes are clear and easy to understand. Fast response times.

We appreciated that Stephen gave us suggestions for paint. We actually gave him a few addresses in our neighborhood where we liked the paint color. Stephen then went to those houses and with a tool, he was able to match similar paint color. Once we narrowed colors (body, trim), Stephen ordered samples and painted swatches on our house.

Everyone on his team who came worked well. Caulking the windows, power washing, painting. After painting, the head of the paint team noticed some wood rotting during his inspection. Stephen and his construction team replaced the wood and repainted as needed.

Stephen's team also ordered exterior doors for us including the locks needed. We purchased the exterior lighting and shutters which his team installed. We also enjoyed chatting with his team members while they were here.

It was a good experience overall for us!

We had a couple projects with Stephen and his team including a house exterior painting and a garage renovation! I was excited to share the experiences with friends and neighbors about how professional they are but I started to think they may become too popular and busy to work for my future bath remodeling. Stephen is extremely professional, responsible and reliable. He gives thorough inspection and provides his suggestions according to our requirements before the project starts. And during the construction, he visited the site frequently (almost everyday and checked every tiny details which even we may have missed although his team already did very well. His team always keeps the sites clean everyday before leaving. The final results amazed us! I really appreciated all his work to help our house reborn.

The crew came on time, did exactly what they said they would do, cleaned up their messes and met schedule. They spoke English, explained what they were doing and why, and when inevitable questions arose, they provided recommendations. His supervisor provided his cell phone number in case I had any issues after they left. Stephen stopped by the next day to ensure we were happy with the job. I will definitely use Stephen for future projects.

Steve brings mastery and insights to every project he touches. He shares his expertise generously so the home owners know how to maintain the house in the future. We had water damage undiscovered perhaps over many years but we did not know the extent or source of it. The house just seems to "talk to" Steve and he could translate to me exactly what is happening inside of the walls. I have seen many contractors, but Steve without a doubt is the most experienced and most authoritative.

We had them go through the outside of our 2000 sq foot home to find and repair any wood rot. The outside walls are siding. He explained that although there is better material available, he may not be able to simply replace a few boards because they would not fit.
Between boards, there is a metal plate which in some places fell off. A previous contractor said it could not be replaced. But Steve said this was not true.
Steve explained how to look for wood rot as we surveyed the house and also showed where the previous contractor did not use matching wood.
He gave us a quote in writing for the wood rot repairs, installing a scaffolding and painting the entire house. He allowed us to use our credit card and provided a link to pay online. This was very convenient. The best part is that his quote did not change by a single penny.
Finally, our neighbor complained that one his sprinkler pipes was broken, suggesting it was done by Steve's crew. Steve fixed it right away without questioning whether he was at fault.
I definitely recommend Steve for any home repair or improvement.

We used Stephen and his crew to replace some older pieces of wood around our window frames and do associated caulking and painting on portions of our house that were showing some wear and tear from aging.

As we had used Stephen and his team before, we already knew what to expect: Efficiency, professionalism, and quality work. As before, we weren't disappointed and, given that Stephen guarantees his work, always have peace of mind going with this company.

I also wanted to give a shout out to Ricardo, who led the crew and was very communicative and kind. It was also evident that he cared about getting the little details right, staying as long as it took to ensure that everything looked good. Obrigado Cado!

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the work done by Stephen Bass and team. When he came out to do the repairs, he found that there wasn't actually dry rot under our sink like we thought and he said he couldn't take our money for work that didn't need to be done. His honesty was admirable. We also needed to add on an additional window sill replacement and he was so generous with the change order. The team arrived on time each day for the work and they were respectful and wonderful to work with. Trustworthy contractors are very hard to find in our experience. I am so happy we found them and I would give them more than 5 stars if I could! We are definitely going to work with them again!

During last few years of winter rains, water leaked from the master bedroom window into the drywall. The sealant around the window and other windows had eroded over the years.

Stephen Bass is a very competent and efficient repair & remodeling professional. He completely remodeled my 1920's home, staying within the cost estimate and finishing the remodel job way ahead of schedule. Mr. Bass submitted his cost estimate a day after he toured the home. The scope or work and price was presented in a well organized manner, setting forth the work for the whole house: new plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and interior/exterior painting. Then, specifying the scope of work & price for each room. Mr. Bass helped me select all the materials, appliances, cabinets and finishes. The results are outstanding. I have a new home!
