Two years ago Jaylee Blanco Valiao sold me a used Chevy and I purchased an extended warranty. My daughter has the car out of state and an issue came up regarding the warranty that was purchased. I returned to Stewart Chevrolet and was able to speak with Mr. Valiao about the warranty issues that came up. Mr. Valiao made a few calls and got the warranty issue smoothed out. Solid customer service with both the car sales side and two years later on the warranty issue. If need assistance with purchasing a car be sure to look for Mr. Valiao. He will be your "go to" guy.

Maybe I'm spoiled because my other car is an Audi and when I show up in their service center, they say hi. This service center is devoid of any positive interaction and the feeling that I'm bothering them is super clear. I had a dead battery and they charged me $500 to tell me the battery was dead - that's a $650 battery. (I knew it was dead, I had to get a jump to get there). I bought the car here so I thought I would get better treatment - no. I've brought my car in for an oil change only to wait 5 hours until they finished and I had an appointment. I've had one of their advisors eye roll me about not knowing where my tire lock key was even though I told her I bought it here so you tell me. I can see why no one wants to come back here.

Had to take my company car in to fix an oil leakage on multiple occasions.
I worked with David each time; he is communicative and has great customer service.
He always managed to accommodate my needs and fit me in to his schedule.

Thank you, David for all of your hard work and service!

Service department is a complete scam.

Brought truck in for diagnostic. They charged me $600 and withheld documentation of the compression and leak down tests from me. I got a brief summary on my invoice which was two paragraphs.

Dealer copy of my work order appeared to be at least 8-10 pages.

Person behind service counter told be could have copies of the testing results or mechanics notes. Then she said she didn't know why I couldn't have them.

Another person behind that desk told me it was GM's policy not to give out and I could make a complaint to Gm if I wanted. This was all done in a very condescending and dismissive way.

I then asked that employee to just get me my truck so I could leave.

After about 30min of waiting while the dealer was empty on a Saturday. A Saturday mechanic came out and said that my truck would not start all of a sudden. He said I would either need to tow it or he would call Colma PD and have me dragged out of the dealership and keep my truck.

My thought was either this Saturday mechanic intentionally disabled my truck (which was running when I dropped it off) or he was trying to escalate this situation by lying to me.

      The latter was true.

They staged my truck in the back of the dealership and told me the tow could pick it up back there and gave me the keys an HOUR AND A HALF after I initially arrived.

A childish act to withhold my property from me after I paid for a service and wasn't provided all of the information and documentation, because I hurt someone's feelings?!?

This dealership is run by morons and children.

The employees at this dealership are clearly retaliatory and have access to my personal information.

I'm currently exploring options to get my documents with an attorney.

Don't waste your time or money at this dealership or any Stewart dealership.

I have been a customer of Stewart for over 18 years and purchased 4 vehicles from them. in March I was involved in an accident. my car was taken to a body shop., After two months my car was back together but the body shop could not get the fan to work. They called me and said it needed to go to the service department where I purchased the car. when it got to Stewart Chevrolet (formerly Stewart Cadillac and Chevrolet) the service manager accused them of placing a defective part in the repairs. However the part was sold to them from Stewart's parts department. So Stewart ordered another of the same part and installed it. I am guessing that part was defective as well as now not only was the fan not working but the car was throwing sparks as well. The service department then determined that the car needed a new wire harness(part number 84524532) which was discontinued by General Motors and no replacement part available. My Cadillac 2019 XT4 has only 16,193 miles on it. The car not quite five years old and still under warranty. Why isn't the part available or discontinued? Makes no sense. There have been no recalls on this car . I asked for a copy of the diagnostic on the car which I have yet to receive; In the meantime the car sat on there back lot as it could not be repaired until such time when the body shop took the car back. It had already been repainted and clear coated however now it was covered with dirt and bird residue. Bird residue is toxic to paint. The right thing for the dealership to do is buy back the car since they cannot repair it. In the meantime the insurance examiner for State Farm said the accident did not cause this part to fail. So it is either the fault of the body shop or the service department at Stewart Chevrolet. Well if they accused the body shop of placing a defective part that was purchased from Stewart's parts department and yet placed another of the same part was replaced by the service department at Stewart then I would say that It is the fault of Stewart and General Motors for not having the replacement part available. The dealership or General Motors needs to buy back my fully paid car. I have now been without a car for 5 weeks and still paying insurance. I have been left in limbo. Thank you.

I will never trust this place again. I listed my car for sale on craigslist and they reached out saying they were interested. They wouldn't talk details over the phone and instead insisted I needed to come in. When I asked what their price range was they wouldn't say, only that "they pay higher amounts than online estimates". Everything in my gut said they were just scammers but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway.

So, I drive 25 minutes to the dealership and they spend about 10 minutes inspecting the car, taking pictures, looking up my registration info, etc.

Then they said they wanted to take the car for a spin but that I wouldn't be allowed to come and that I would have to wait in the lobby. This caught me off guard, why wouldn't they want me in the car? I can't imagine who would let a complete stranger just take their car for a spin without them. I said I would need to be in the car and they immediately just handed me back my keys and said, "ok, well, thanks for your time".

...and so yeah. Not sure what scam this place is running but hopefully I didn't expose myself in any way by allowing them to "inspect" the car. I now know to stay away

Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable! The service manager Francis was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and promised my SUV back the same day! He communicated to me through out the day and was very helpful and courteous. He always kept me in the loop and had my SUV ready! I would surely recommend this shop! They even washed the exterior of my SUV! A+ in service!

The main service coordinator, Malina, is one of the rudest customer service people I (or my mild mannered husband) has ever had to deal with. On the handful of occasions I've had to interact with her she has been so dismissive and condescending. I have had to get my car serviced for the many many recalls on my vehicle so I've had to go through this dealership.

When I call I am routinely put on hold for ten minutes at a time, they do not offer any kind of loaner car or voucher for a ride or shuttle service, and she actually accused me of trying to scam them into doing work for free when I wanted them to recheck one of their recall fixes that left my door out of alignment.

The dealership service is expensive and the people are rude.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thee worst experience I've ever had and honestly it's not worth your time or money. I've been a GMC owner for over 15 years and they completely lied and are trying to scam me. Brought in my truck for a Stabilitrak light that was on and a oil change and drove off the lot with a ticking noise from my engine that wasn't there when I dropped it off. David McCauley the service tech (really rude and not friendly) admitted to me that he did hear it but let my child and I drive off knowing damn well there was something wrong. Then responds it will cost me $4,000 to tear apart my engine to find out what is wrong!! I'm not making this up~text messages included in the photos. Joe Cassisi the service manager was absolutely no help when I tried to go over David to understand what was happening, and he told me to take my business elsewhere and file a complaint, nor would not even address why David let me take my truck home when it wasn't ok. They didn't even change my oil, we checked as soon as we got home and the oil stick was low. I can't even believe GMC corporate would allow them to run a service dept. like this. Please skip this nightmare and bring your vehicle somewhere else. They are absolute garbage and put me out thousands of dollars for something they failed to do and won't take responsibility for. Unbelievable!! *update 2/1* Jonathan the manager the of the dealership (who responded below) never even bothered to return my call (not surprised) place is a joke!
