I needed a last minute tint and even though Nixon's shop schedule was full, he still managed to fit me in at a decent time. This is my first time here, and Nixon was so friendly and down to earth. He is super knowledgeable in tint, and promised me my car wouldn't be damaged. He has tons of awards for tinting and the shop was nice and clean.

My car was done in 2 hours and I was on my way. Nixon did a fabulous job, and my car was not damaged.....unlike some other vendors and Craigslist tint people that charge cheap, but ruin your car.

I totally recommend these guys as they are pro's and I also got a very good price for my tint! They have been around long enough to have seen every car and situation!

I had just gotten a new car and the first thing I wanted to get done was get tint for the rear. I had narrowed my search down to a couple shops but Street Legal Tint stood out the most to me.

I gave Nixon a call on a Monday and he booked me in for the Friday. He was extremely accommodating as he asked if any other days worked for me so he could get me in sooner. Not even a couple hours passed and he already called to see if Tuesday worked, but I was picking up my car at that time so I was unavailable. Tuesday came around and he called me again since his scheduled freed up on Wednesday so I took that spot.

Upon getting to his shop he welcomed me in and we quickly went outside to discuss what I wanted to get done and what percentage I wanted to get. He had a couple suggestions so I went with what he had suggested since it was similar to what I got with my last car. Once we worked it out we went back in and had a chat for a bit before I handed over my keys so he can get to the install. A couple hours later he gave me a call letting me know that he was almost done and I could come over to pick up my car. Well when I saw the work he had done I was absolutely blown away on how well he did the install! The cuts were perfectly hidden so you don't see where the window starts and where the tint ends. He was also very clean so it didn't even look like someone had been in installing anything. After doing a quick walk around the car and got the payment sorted out we talked some more before I head out.

I was extremely impressed by the professionalism as well as the friendly attitude that Nixon had. The second you walk into his shop he talks and treats you like you have known each other for years. His workmanship shows not only by the trophies from competitions he has gotten on display behind the counter, but also by how perfect he installs the tint in your car. If you want to get tint these guys are definitely the ones you have to go to!

My brother used to work in the same complex and after seeing the perfect tint job he did on my mom's Camry, there was only one place my ES350 was headed.

Now I'm sure you've seen terrible DIY results driving around town with air bubbles galore just like cell phone screen protectors. Tip: don't waste your time DIY.

When you meet Nixon it's like meeting an old friend. Super personable guy who really cares about each of his clients. He's super passionate and it shows. His office is filled with trophies from tinting competitions across Canada which are judged for speed and quality. Nixon and his brother often end up competing head to head for the title of best tinter in Canada.

Based on his recommendation I went for 20% tint on rear windows which is the most common. If you make out a lot in your back seat you might want to opt for 8% for better privacy. Or if you just really want to look gangsta.

It took him under 3 hours to finish my car. Quality is impeccable. It's nearly impossible to tell it's not factory OEM.

Not surprisingly he gets tons of referrals and does tinting for many local car dealers and their owner's personal collections.

Don't go anywhere else, call Nixon and tell him I sent you. I guarantee you will be happy.

Do Vancouver police officiers have nothing better to do than give tickets to cars with tinted windows? I was unlucky enough to be driving in downtown on a Saturday night when police dude was giving tickets left and right. While he was giving a ticket to someone else, he pulled us over.

We've had this car for over 6 years, bought used, it came with tinted windows. For 6 years we've drove it in the San Francisco Bay area without incident.

Two months in Vancouver and we get pulled over for barely tinted front seat windows.

Thank goodness for Street Legal Tint. They got me in a last minute appointment, nicely removed the damn tint, gave me great suggestions for auto repair shops, and charged a decent price.

Moral to this story:
Don't drive down Granville on a Saturday night with tinted windows. If you do and end up with a ticket, go to Street Legal Tint and they make it all right.

Two thumbs up! A few years ago I had my first car tinted on this place and the work was just amazing. So, when i bought my next car Honda fit 2017 and needed window tint; I remembered to go to this place. Nixon is very friendly and gets the job done on time and perfectly.

Went there for a tint job on my BRZ and it was done very professionally. Nixon is a great guy and very easy to talk with. At the time of writing, Nixon has 17 years of experience and has won several national tint-off competitions. I saw a lot of trophies and first place certificates on his walls! He even warned me that it is illegal in BC to tint driver side windows, but it's fine in my case because I have a Washington plate.

I highly recommend this shop to anybody wanting to get their windows tinted!!

Shopped around a few places before I let Nixon handle my new 2016 Mazda 3. He made some awesome suggestions and he did a wicked job. He was fast and friendly to deal with and really knowledgeable about his craft. If you're uncertain just check out his banner of awards and trophies behind the counter. Nixon is the guy you want tinting your windows. When it's time to pimp my next ride, I'll definitely come back to him.
