Have them run a power cable for me from an alternator to my truck bed... You guys rock. Absolutely great service and you tell the people who work there enjoy their job...

Before working with these guys I had called another place over in Scotts valley, every time they answer the phone they sounded like they wanted to jump off a bridge...

Brought my 07 F150 here for an ongoing rear brake issue (have had to replace calipers, rotors, and shoes 3 times in 9 years of ownership because they seize and overheat). No off roading no towing no heavy payloads... just highway driving and back and forth to Tahoe. Tired of throwing parts at a problem that isn't going away.

Ben says they'll get to the bottom of it. The issue I brought forward mind you was: "figure out what's making the brakes seize, and fix it. I don't want to bring this car back to a shop for seizing brakes anymore." A few days later I get a call asking to check the rear differential fluid? Okay, he says it's part of their diagnostic process... I know that's not the issue but he refuses to move forward in the diagnostic without accounting for this step, so I okay the work. Then he calls and says the ABS module was failing. Explains it in a way that sounds credible (module not allowing pressure to back flow thus causing caliper piston to stay engaged ever so slightly -- makes sense). $3800.

A few days after picking up the truck with the statement from Ben "I'm confident this is the fix to your issue, but if it happens again bring it back and we'll make it right," I'm driving back from Tahoe. Brakes seize up coming down highway 50. Ben says bring it back and they'll handle it. I asked them to check out the e-brake assembly as there are several forum accounts stating a corroded e-brake spring release clip ($15) could be the culprit and is common. Just got a call stating their diagnostic has now pivoted to suspecting a bad wheel bearing and possibly a bent axel? Not sure how we arrived there from bad ABS module. Never took off the tire to assess the e-brake assemblies during the second diagnostic by the way.

Seems to me like they have no idea what they're looking for. I told them "don't be another shop that just throws parts at a problem they're not able to properly diagnose." Seems to me to be exactly what's going on. Will update after meeting with the shop today to further review their customer service end of handling this issue.

Read other reviews too -- similar accounts on both google and Yelp. Recommend avoiding this shop at this point.

Great service, reasonably priced. Vehicle in and out when they said it would be done and I would definitely recommend this place for your van or truck needs.

Took our double-axle, hydraulic-braked boat trailer there this week as the brakes were non-operational - on the basis of other Yelp reviews.

What a gem of a business. Prompt, professional, well-managed, priced well, thorough, clear and concise. Honestly haven't seen a better run or managed auto or trailer repair business in Santa Cruz county in 25 years of living here.

Got a very thorough inspection performed (with pictures - texted to me), with diagnosis, suggested repair for the primary problem (they actually fixed while performing the diagnosis as it was related) and other suggested repairs to perform or consider performing soon. ZERO pressure to get non-urgent things done.

We were there for trailer work - but cars are most of what they do - and I won't hesitate to service my vehicles there. They also specialize in aftermarket suspension setups (street and offroad) and tow setups too.

A *complete* car/truck/trailer service and repair center, in other words. Give them a call - they're great.

Street Scene On & Off Road Performance did a great job installing a hitch on our Tesla Y. From start to finish they ordered the Tesla Part, set up a time to install and finished the installation before the time of day they promised.

I needed my horse trailer serviced, & Ben was very welcoming from the minute he picked up the phone. I got an appointment right away, and the crew at Street Scene did a fantastic job assessing what needed to be done. Ben was honest & told me that the trailer only needed some rewiring, a few lights replaced, and new tires. The old tires were 10 years old. Ben checked the battery, which was fine and said the wheels didn't need bearings or repacking. Street Scene is the best....honest, competent, & reliable. I'll be going back!

I appreciate the customer service and results of having Street Scene install a slider 5th wheel receiver and electrical receptacle in my SIL's Dodge Ram 2500 short bed. Timing was great, installation was great. Service was great. I highly recommend these guys!

A serious lack of workmanship and oversight
Installed the wrong lug nuts from the old wheels even though I paid for new extended thread lug nuts, the alignment was way out and I had to go to another tire shop to get it right, The bottom mounting bolts were loose on the Firestone airbags and the CV Axle they installed is now leaking grease out of the boot . So basically everything that they did except the shocks was installed poorly or is wrong. I paid a lot of money for street scene to install these parts and now I have to redo everything and pay another shop to install a new CV axle.

They installed a trailer hitch for us and did a good job. We will use them again for regular service! Glad to have found them!

Great service. Had a part go bad and they replaced it for free I was not able to fix it and then they fixed it and then it was fixed so now I'm gonna have to go
