Many years of experience at cutting,, Chemical free coloring, amazing men and women haircuts,my daughter and myself love her and we are used to movie star hair stylists, we are super picky. Mar 20, 2024Previous reviewI've been visiting Sofia for my hair for 8 years and have followed her as she built her business in Redwood City and with her recent move to Mountain View. She's given me a number of different lengths of stunning haircuts in that time and beautiful all over color as well as subtle balayage highlights. She really listens to what you want and combines that with her style and artistry. Sofia recently moved to Mountain View but will always be worth the drive for me. Check her out! The new salon is clean, brand new, parking is a cinch (and free) and you get Sofia's undivided attention.

Look no further if you want healthy, gorgeous looking hair. I will be making my cuts here more frequently because waiting too long in between trims is terrible. I love her and her new salon is warm and cozy and intimate. Will be coming back and referring more friends and family here :)

I came in on a recommendation of a friend who rocks fabulous hair on the daily. Jose does her hair. I want him to do my hair now too. I came in with the most awfully shredded anime haircut a grown woman could possess. Could Jose save me? Yes he sure did. I came out looking better than I have seen myself in years. New hair who dis?

I'm really picky about my hair, and have been flying home to Los Angeles to work with my hairdresser down there, but decided it was time to finally find someone close to home. I was able to book online, which I love, and he works Sundays, which is great for my schedule (first stylist I've found that will work Sundays!). It had been 5 months since my last cut, and my hair now looks amazing! Super super nice and genuine, fun guy to talk with...can't recommend him enough!

Every time, they cut exactly the same, boring flat long hair except it was shorter. I looked up on Yelp and saw Sofia had good reviews. I decided to give myself a change. OMG, she completely changed me. I look like someone walking out of Korean drama right now. I couldn't believe it when she finished the cut in the salon. I def look younger and happier. I always thought American stylist didn't know how to do Korean style large wavy casual hair. I think I am wrong. Sofia is really good with styling and layering. I highly recommend her for anyone who wants a new change. Now I just need to figure out how to change my Yelp profile picture.

Had to update my review to reiterate how amazing and skilled Sofia is at her craft! I came in with hair that had no life and she brought it back to life by adding amazing layers and volume! Would definitely recommend coming here for all of your hair beautifying needs!

The process to book appointments was very easy to do. I appreciated that Jose was able to accomodate me last minute for a late morning appointment.
Upon check in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and promptly seated. The Salon was very clean, well organized, and had plenty of natural light and space to feel warm and comfortable.
Jose listened to how I wanted my hair to be cut and styled and promised me a "Fabulous Haircut". He was very efficient and checked in with me on length to ensure he got everything correct. He gave me some great layers throughout my hair and did an especially amazing job on the face framing layers. After a great blow dry and a little product, my hair was perfect! I instantly had a boost in how confident I looked. Jose did an amazing job and I will definitely be going back for future haircuts as he is very experienced and his work proved that! Would definitely recommend for those looking for a stylist that knows what they are doing and delivers on their promise.
