Sunny Dry Cleaners

Looking for a new dry cleaners as my local business closed during COVID. Tried this place out. Had them do some adjustments to some pants along with dry cleaning. I asked them to take 2 inches off some pants (I declined to try them on at the cleaner when I dropped them off). After they completed the alterations I realized I actually needed an extra inch. Even though it was my own fault - they made the additional alteration at no charge. Although I didn't ask for this - it was very much appreciated as a nice gesture and a sign of a business that really values its customers. Great timely service for the dry cleaning, excellent service for the alterations. This is my new local dry cleaner.

Cindy and Kenneth provided excellent service every time I went in. They are responsive and the turnaround time is quick. I had a pair of expensive white overalls that got melted chocolate stuck to the pockets, which I accidentally put in the dryer ‍you guessed it...the chocolate dried up and it was gunky and dark. I was pretty upset because of how much the overalls costed. Luckily, I found Sunny dry cleaners, and within a few days, Cindy was able to remove the dried up chocolate completely and even cleaned it to make it look brand new. I give my praise to their wonderful service. They are my go-to now because they always deliver!

This place is a hidden gem. It's family owned by a wonderful couple, Ken and Cindy, who always take the time to greet and be warm to their customers. The first visit was very pleasant as Cindy took her time to measure me, and make sure she got accurate measurements and did it with grace as I wasn't familiar with seams. Sunny's have great attention to detail and is able to provide quick and fast services at such reasonable prices! Thank you Ken and Cindy! Glad I found you guys!

First time dry cleaning here! Came with a formal beaded dress and was worried it would get snagged or ripped. I was it was hard to clean by other dry cleaners over the phone. Came here and paid exactly as much as was quoted and was happy to receive my dress in good condition Owners are very kind and helpful, definitely will be making this my go-to for dry cleaning.

This time I needed sleeves repair on one of my favorite coats - amazingly Cindy make them look brand new and in a short time - as mentioned in a previous review she and her husband, Ken, treat theirs customers great and do excellent work constantly - if you need dry-cleaning or alterations give them a try /

Great service, and only positive impressions for years, until today.

I gave them a dark green jacket for dry cleaning and received a light, yellowish-green jacket upon pick-up.

I complained and stated I did not want a refund and that the color had changed completely. I was told that a color change could not and would not occur during dry cleaning and that the color change was probably due to wear and tear.

I've had the jacket for 6 years now and know what color it was before and after dry cleaning.

I am not disappointed in the damage done to my jacket or loss of money. I am disappointed in the staff's complete deflection of any blame, or even the possibility that a color change could have occurred after dry-cleaning - when the difference was so clear.

I don't need dry cleaning often but have recently bought some vintage items that needed it. And Sunny has always done a great job! The owners are so nice and always on time. All the prices are very reasonable and I've gotten pants hemmed here as well. My go to place so far!

One thing I don't like about shops with check in offers is when they don't HONOR the deal. Dropped my dry clean one day and picked up in 4-5 Days which speed wise it's good. On pick up day and ready to pay I wanted to use the 10% off check-in offer but the clerk told me no, I must spend $100 to get 10%. Then why don't you say so on the YELP page with captions or disclaimer when the 10% prompts up? Sketchy...

Then the boss lady told me I can use it the next time I swing by and inform them during drop off... so which is it? You guys are spreading misinformation and offers and if it's a certain deal that I need to spend $$ On then revise the info on your yelp offer! Hopefully I'm not the first to have noticed this right?

I dropped off some clothing last week Wednesday to be dry cleaned. The man at the front let me know they'd likely be ready by Saturday which I think is a good turnaround time given that I wasn't in any rush. I picked the clothing up today, the following Monday, and everything looked good! My silk shirts were pristine and wrinkle free. I am pleased with the cleaning service I received.

Three silk shirts and a wool sweater cost $23. That seems high to me, but maybe that's just how much dry cleaning costs in San Francisco?

And just a note, if you'd like to redeem the yelp check in deal of 10% off, it needs to be presented when you drop off clothes, not when you pick them up.

Fast and reliable service! I spilled coffee on my white shirt as I was driving. Decided to use a Tide Pen to get the stain off. Unfortunately, it only made things worse. Since I was on my way to the city (from SJ) and I've heard of them before, I gave them a call. Without further questions they just asked me to drop it off. Was able to pick it up by the end of the day. The shirt came back close to being brand new, looking fresh, and bright! Super thankful and appreciate of their service, especially since I asked them out of the blue. Give them a try, you can't wrong with them. I'll be back.

Fair price and exceptional service. Definitely hard to come across a business like them nowadays. Nonetheless in the Sunset!
