This place offers a lot of different spa services. The owner and staff are friendly and provide good spa service for the realm of hair; from hair cuts to waxing and threading services. I personally love the spa lady, Jodene, who has helped me with my hair for almost ten years. She does a wonderful job when I go in for a hair cut. Plus she always helps me find ways to improve my hair health, like keeping it less dry with certain products. She recommended coconut oil once, and how to use it, which is now my spring time favourite extra conditioner remedy to use on my sometimes dry ends. However, they did not sell pure organic coconut oil in their shop. It would be nice if this spa carried more natural, organic, and pure local ingredients, as Victoria has many, don't know why they haven't caught on yet. Also, wish Jodene could open her own spa someday, and train some amazing hair dressers + spa practitioners and have them located worldwide (what I am going to do when I live far away from the island for another chapter of my life?) I am very choosy about hairstylists, and can say that the real, down-to-earth spa lady knows what she is doing with hair. Jodene, you one of the rare and good hairdressers out there!

Sunrise is the place to go if you need threading done. The owner does an amazing job and takes great care, her staff is also very good.

They take walk in customers as well as appointments and offer a variety of other salon services and products. Prices are very fair for eyebrow threading, not sure about the rest.

The only downside is they are closed on Sunday.

I went in to get my eyebrows threaded and lip waxed, the girl neglected to offer the deal for getting both your brows/ lip threaded so I was charged more. I asked to only clean up my brows and keep the thickness and fullness, but she made them way more thin then I asked for and un even. I told her they were way more thin then I was expecting, yet she didn't offer me anything. I then got my lip waxed, paid then left. I got to my car and looked in the mirror and there was quite a bit of hair that she missed. I decided to go back in and say something and she told me it was because I had moisturizer on that the wax didn't work as well, she said she tried to wax over it twice. Yet she still charged me full price for a wax that wasn't even done properly.

Went to Sunrise Spa for laser treatments for sun damage on my hand and neck.

Laser Treatment on my hand went well. However, on my neck and upper chest the treatment left a large red rash with bumps.

I consulted with the owner after a few weeks that treatment has caused this damage and I received no support or call back.
I have gone to my own doctor for medication, but
next time I will use a cosmetic dermatologist for treatment.

(You are right Krys...about the cleanliness.) I go there for brow threading as they all do a great job on mine, especially the owner. They are quick and well priced but I suggest making an appmt for which they reduce the price significantly and you get in without waiting.

As per another review, I came here to get my eyebrows threaded. I was hoping for that Mediterranean full arched gorgeous brow, and I felt better when I saw the eyebrows on the girl that was doing mine. Especially when I asked for larger, shapely brows.
Well, If you like that dime a dozen eyebrow, you know-- the ones that every 16 year old high school girl has, then this is the place to go.
I went in with semi bushy brows in need of some good shape--and came out with 1/3rd of what I went in with. I guess they don't look all that bad, but by no means is this the place to go for that sexy Indian Brow. The cost was about 11 bucks plus taxes..
      HOWEVER
While I was there I also got a pedicure.
Its almost the beginning of sandle season, and my feet had been neglected so because Rejuvinations was completely booked up I came here. I just wanted a bit of pampering and some light pink neutral toesies.
I sat in the awkward massage chair and put my feet in the water-- I wasnt sure how to use the chair at first so I just left it off, it didnt look like anyone had plans of showing me how to use it. Okay whatever, I just tried to relax..BUT the more relaxed I became, the more I was looking around my sorroundings and realizing that they were not very relaxing at all. More specifically I was looking at the "white" towels. UCK, not white anymore. Then theres the haircutting station-- the sides of the stainless steel cabinets had whatever substance dripping and dried down the sides, they looked like they hadnt been wiped for a while. Okay, I didnt have to come back-- I just had to get through the pedicure.
The lady that did the service was nice enough, no real issues there BUT when it came time to paint my toenails she asked me what color I wanted and I found myself looking at approximately 11 or maybe 12 different colors of dingy looking old OPI nailpolish. Blue, green, purple, green sparkle. I just said all I needed was a light pink and I'll be happy. Well, then she said sorry, but OPI hasnt come out with any light pinks this season, they are all bright colors.
HUH? Okay whatever. But the problem wasnt I didnt see 1 SINGLE color that I thought looked pretty AT ALL!
I ended up with a reddish orange bright-- whatever. I can change it myself.
Now for my finale of a mediocre threading and lacklustre pedicure.
THE PEDICURE COST ME ABOUT 70 BUCKS PLUS TAXES! Good lord, never again will I be thankful they could fit me in!
