I was very hesitant to use movers due to a bad experience several years ago but sunshine moving services took that fear away! It was great working with them. The movers are very respectful. They wanted to make sure all my stuff were properly covered to protect from scratches or dents. They were also very efficient and time conscious. They not only moved my items, they also assembled my furnitures! I am very glad I took a chance with this moving company! They are truly great!

Prompt, Professional, and Efficient. These gentlemen moved us out of our home in North County into a storage 30 miles away. We used them again to move from the storage to PODS.

They are very careful, and thoughtful on how they pack things. They are very hard working and we appreciated their diligence and dedication to creating a seamless moving experience. Our PODS were packed with care.

We got a quote from this place for $108 an hour, it ended up being $200 an hour and we were told they can move us in 4 hours with the estimate of the house we gave them. It ended up being 12 hours and double hours for driving 18 miles, plus the cost of gas, for them to move us, costing us nearly $3,000 to move within the same county. With the price, you would think we moved states.

They took their sweet-ass time wrapping things that didn't need to be wrapped and boxing things that didn't need to be boxed. One guy even sat on our couch taking a break for nearly an hour while one guy did all the work. They were moving things into our garage and tons of things broke, even with their "exceptional wrapping and boxing" of our stuff.

I have moved from different counties, with my house being 4,000 sq. ft. of stuff and same amount of moving guys, in 4 hours, and even moved two years ago with a different moving company (they didn't have any availability that weekend we're moving), costing us less than $500 to move 3,000 sq. ft. worth of stuff and gas.

When my husband confronted them about it, they said "that's the contract you signed". They're crooks who are finding ways to to steal your money. Find another professional moving company before considering them. They have two Yelp postings for the same company, a little sketch there as well?

We recently moved from San Diego to Portland, and it never would have happened without the folks at Sunshine Moving. Their services were excellent. They showed up on time with a large crew of packers, and had our whole place packed up and loaded in a few hours. They were very communicative and kept us informed about their timelines and location at every step. Upon arrival they had arranged for assistance and had us unloaded into our new place in no time at all.

I cannot recommend them highly enough. They were professional, thorough, and priced very competitively. Perhaps the best compliment I can give is that not one single item was missing or broken throughout the entire process!

I recently moved from San Diego to Texas. I had a really bad experience moving from Texas to San Diego after I (unknowingly) used a broker service for the move. It was a mess that caused me to not receive my stuff for almost two weeks.


I did some research online and found Sunshine Moving Services. They had really good reviews across the board. The main things I was looking for were obviously reliability but also a company that could promise a delivery date.

I spoke with Madi and did a virtual walkthrough of my place. The process was super easy. Madi gave me a quote and promised that my requested delivery date would not be a problem. He told me that they are not brokers, that they own their own business and that when you hire them, they are actually doing the work. I actually had a few more estimates lined up but after speaking with Madi I felt really reassured and committed to them. Their estimate was VERY reasonable, especially considering it was a cross country move AND I was requesting them to pack my stuff for me.

The day of the move they came out with their crew and packed up the house for me. They did a really great job and were very careful with both my things and the house I was moving out of.

Two days later Mike (one of their guys who helped pack the house) met me at my new location with the truck containing my things that he had driven himself out from San Diego. He worked with a local crew to unload everything. Mike was so friendly and professional. He made sure everything was unloaded to my liking, made sure my beds were assembled, and just overall wanted to be sure that I was happy with the work. Just an incredibly nice, polite guy and an even more incredibly hard worker.

After he was done we settled the contract. The final price was not a single penny above my estimate.

This is my third time moving cross country and this was by far the best moving company I've ever used. The whole team is so friendly and professional. They really just want to do a good job for you and for a really fair price. I cannot recommend them enough for any move, no matter how big, small, far, or local. Please give these amazing guys your business.

Fantastic job today from Sunshine Movers. We moved from Point Loma all the way to Temecula. It was a lot of work! The 3x guys were hardworking conscientious and very polite. I shopped around a million places before I chose these guys ~ I was just eventually exhausted from shopping around and they pretty much all charged the same give or take $10 anyway. I'm really glad we went with Sunshine. If you're having decision fatigue or can't figure it out just use these guys they're great. They have an otherwise stressful event nice and smooth. Thank you for everything!!

Make sure your over estimate a little on time. Remember they're human not machines~ and don't forget to TIP ~ it's expensive running a small business in California!

I had a great experience with Sunshine Movers. They were able to schedule my out-of-state move on very short notice, and they were very flexible with hiccups that came up along the way (on my end, not theirs). The crew was friendly and responsive. Would use them again!
