This restaurant is across the street from the Alton hotel where we're staying and I wish we had gone to this restaurantsooner! Nice ambiance and food tastes really good - they have a lot of interesting combinations. You can also go a little more traditional if that is more your jam. At first, it might seem that the dishes are pricey, but honestly, I think for the amount of food you get, it's reasonable. (Esp for SF!) If you share or stick to the main breakfast dishes with a regular coffee ($4 for coffee), your bill will be reasonable. The service was top notch, but there were only a couple tables occupied, so I can't vouch for how service would be if it were crowded.

I think my favorite thing might be the Ube Milk. Never had that anywhere else, and it was perfectly balanced with fantastic Ube flavor.

The Jook (rice porridge/ congee) is really rich and filling. It really hit the spot for me. I couldn't finish past a third of it, so I would recommend sharing it.

The carnivore scramble was also rather epic. We liked stuffing the popover with the eggs and eating it like a pita!

Although the Millionaire's bacon flight might be a good conversation starter, at $25 for 4 slices of candied bacon, I would skip it. Or just try it once to see what you think of it. Which is basically what we did.

The Korean fried chicken was scrumptious. Again, not the best bang for your buck, but very tasty and satisfying.

The bulgogi fried rice was the only breakfast dish that was finished by us-- it's a testament to how good it is!

The next time I'm in town I plan to try some of the other dishes here!

I heard this place gets really busy during peak times. I made a reservation the day before on a weekend for brunch without issues.

Because it's SF, street parking only. But there's a lot of fun stuff to see and do around the marina, so I didn't mind having to walk a little bit.

It's a Korean brunch fusion place so the dishes are really creative. Me and my friend got the loco moco and eggs benedict. Both were really savory and had great portions. I really loved the loco moco gravy.

Overall it's a pretty unique brunch spot in SF! Definitely worth the trip

Part of a family of Bay Area restaurants that are Korean-American inspired. Overall the food and coffee was good.

Sat outside in the terrace area and stayed warm the entire time despite the cooler weather!

I came here with two other people on Saturday at 11 AM for brunch. There was no wait and we were promptly. The interior is clean and modern and was the perfect place to have a catch up with my friends.

Carnivore scramble ($23) - 4.5/5 This scramble had a delicious combination of chicken mango sausage, bacon, and red onion. I highly recommend this dish for those that are looking for a savory brunch option but still have a touch of sweetness. This dish also came with some crispy potatoes and a wheat bread. I wasn't a huge fan of the bread, because it wasn't very flavorful and very thin and hollow. I do think this dish was a bit expensive for what it was, but otherwise it was very filling and I would order it again.

Lychee-ju ($12) - 4/5 This drink is soju-based and was very sweet. The lychee flavor is not very prominent, but I still enjoyed this drink.

Overall, would come again to this place to try their famous Millionaire's Bacon and their fusion Asian brunch items as well !

Okay Korean fusion food. They are well-known for their millionaire bacon, and heavily advertise it on their menu.

I had the bulgogi nachos. Tastes like bulgogi, but sweeter than what I'm used to. Same with their millionaire bacon. Honestly, I have never tasted bad bacon unless it was heavily burnt.

Crowded indoors and close to the touristy harbor when we went on a weekend evening.

We were so excited to try Surisan on our most recent visit to the SF. We got there right when they opened on a Friday morning, and were quickly seated. We had a reservation, but it was pretty quiet in the restaurant until 10:30AM. I would still recommend making a reservation to ensure a table during brunch hours.

I ordered the ube latte, and it was the best ube coffee I've ever had! Huge kudos to the barista who was crafting beautiful coffees and cocktails behind the counter.

Our food was pretty good. The breakfast potatoes were the stars of the show. I would not order the carnivore scramble again - I wasn't a fan of the chicken mango sausage, or how they season their bacon, but all the ingredients were fresh, and the serving size was generous!

The service was wonderful - we never had to call our waitress over, she was always checking on us and refilling our water glasses. 10/10 service!

Tip: Ask for a small cup of whipped cream to dunk your popover in! Our waitress brought one over for us to enjoy with our bread rolls, and it was the perfect texture addition.

Didn't quite hit the mark for me. What was the best about this location was the friendly staff - they were really patient even though they were getting a tad bit busy towards the lunch hours. On the food, the pimped up ramyun I ordered can definitely be skipped. It wasn't cooked well and the spices weren't well distributed - one bite had no flavor while another was nothing but salt and spiciness. That said, I have tried their sister location in Berkeley (The Berkeley Social Club) before and liked that a lot better on the same items.

Went again recently. Got the same dishes and loved them again! Service was quick. It was much quieter on Monday evening and was easier to get a table than on weekends.

Pimped Up Ramyun: I was disappointed by this dish. Incredibly salty and heavy. I was underwhelmed by the hyped up millionaire's bacon. It tasted like your standard candied bacon. My friend and I couldn't finish the ramen.

Galbi Jjim Benedict: The short rib was on the drier side. The Benedict was cooked well and the hollandaise sauce was quite creamy. Roasted potatoes were pretty good.

Honey Butter Fried Chicken: Nothing to write home about... your standard fried chicken that's on the sweeter side. I wouldn't order it again.

I didn't get to try them but my friend enjoyed her Korean Fried Chicken tacos!

      Food 3.5/5
To be honest, I was expecting a bit more out of the cup bap. I wish there had been more chicken and the overall flavor overall wasn't that impressive.
The French toast was good, but I do feel like it's hard to really mess that up. Felt the presentation was nice and I loved the fresh fruit. Carmel sauce was not needed in my opinion.
Ube Latte was great in terms of presentation. I'd reccomended you give it a great stir prior drinking.
Millionaires bacon did steal the show, with the Citron style being the table favorite. Highly recommend the sampler.

      Ambiance 4/5
Cute place, but was loud inside. Even sitting across from one person I felt like you had to speak a little bit up to hear.

      Service 3/5
They refilled drinks occasionally, but don't recall getting checked up on to any major extent. They were busy so that may have played a part. Lastly, it took a moment to get anyones attention to get the check and pay.

Overall, id probably come back again eventually but there are many other places to try as well for brunch in SF.
