This is a real value sushi restaurant. The portions are huge for their price. The nigiris are actually so but that I wish they just made 2 smaller nigiri's instead so that I can have the satisfaction of eating it comfortably in single bite. I've never gone to sushi with a group of people before and accidentally ordered too much to finish. I especially liked how packed the ikura was.

The service here was nice and they make sushi extremely fast. From ordering a nigiri to eating it probably only took 3 minutes. Do note that everyone in the party needs to be present in order to be seated, or they turn you away!

The interior is nothing fancy. I'd come here for a casual date, though.

One of my go-to spots in Metrotown when I'm craving sushi! This place always has very fast service, with decent quality sushi for the price. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi out there, but it's a comfort spot for me.

I was feeling very salmon-y that evening, and decided to get a salmon roll plus 1/2 order of salmon sashimi. I also got dynamite roll. I really enjoy the texture of the salmon sashimi - it's creamy and very flavourful, and felt quite fresh. The pieces are also pretty big. The salmon roll was decent, and the dynamite was good. I wish the shrimp was a little bigger and had more flavour.

Service is fast, and they're always ready to top up your tea! Efficient place, and usually quite busy.

This place has been here for years and never seems to fail when it comes to consistency. You just know when you go to a sushi place that the nigiris are 70/30 when it comes to topping and rice. Fresh and thick!

They do get busy during weekday lunch rushes and evenings on weekends. But that obviously says a lot.

My go to for sushi when I'm in this area!

Some of my fave nigiris and agedashi tofu.

It has been awhile and I think that quality has gone downhill quite a bit. Although I dont come to Sushi Garden expecting the best sushi, I was a bit disappointed in the quality of their fish this evening.

      We ordered:
Salmon and Tuna Sashimi - it used to be considered one of the cheaper places and I guess it is but the pieces are cut very thick and dont taste the best. The tuna was a little bit fishy and the salmon had almost no flavour...it definitely kept us full but there is much better sashimi out there.

Alaska roll - another original and must order but the rice itself was falling apart and mushy. Otherwise, the avocado was ripe and the salmon slices ontop were a decent size.

Takoyaki - normal, sauce served on the side for take out but nothing great.

Overall, it was a disappointing order from sushi garden tonight. Quick take out though!

My friends and I went literally twice during our short stay in BC, it was that good! I think service-wise, it's one of those places where you order quickly and get your food within minutes. Food was great for the price and they don't skimp! It's not a fancy place so the focus is really on the quick service!

So, after bouncing out of Earls and still feeling that hunger vibe, I swung into Sushi Garden in Burnaby, right across from Metrotown, for a late-night reunion. It was like reconnecting with an old friend, you know? The Spicy Tuna Sashimi, as expected, was the MVP, delivering that flavor bomb like it never missed a beat.

Now, the service had a bit of a wild side, but it was late, and the crew seemed like they were on that winding-down mode. Being a regular, it was a tad offbeat from the usual smooth ride. Maybe just one of those nights.

Coming straight from Earls, it was a vibe switch, but the hunger game was strong. Sushi Garden, with its Spicy Tuna Sashimi game, managed to keep the late-night flavor train rolling. Here's to impromptu food adventures and the eats that make them worth it!

If I can give service 0 star I would. Kim is the worse server and host that makes my whole family won't return again. We're a family of 6 and wanted a table to dine together. At first, she said they only have two small tables available and we have to split our party. She stated she will move us together as soon as the table next to us becomes available. When the table becomes available in 15 mins, she simply stated they can't move us together. If you can't do what you promised then why make such a bullshit? Absolutely terrible

Drove up from Seattle for a day trip and stopped by to get some sushi. Parking was very easy to find behind the restaurant. We came on a Sunday evening and there was no wait to be seated and the staff were very attentive to our table.

For the price, the amount and quality was very good. We ordered the assorted sushi combo, salmon sashimi, awesome roll, and house roll. The salmon sashimi especially, came with thick cuts that were buttery soft. The rolls were too big to eat with one mouthful and were also delicious!

We would definitely come back if we are in Vancouver again for the good quality and affordable prices.

Their cuts are so thick and buttery! Salmon sashimi is a must have and they did not disappoint I also tried the uni nigiri and it was quite good as well, creamy, buttery, melts in your mouth (however not a lot of ppl like the taste so order at your own discretion). The takoyaki was also delicious and i will definitely come back whenever I crave sushi! (Also ordered but not pictured here the Alaska roll and chopped scallop roll. They were very generous with the chopped scallop here but it's not the best chopped scallop roll I've had before)

Always a solid place to go if you want tasty sushi at a reason price. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Ambiance is okay. The washrooms could use a good deep clean or even a renovation.
