We shared the major platter and it had it all!!!! Go here if you are hungry and love sushi! The outdoor area is cool, on "the strip" and fun to people and car watch while there! Service was great too. Quick and attentive and brought out sauces and dips as they were asked for without any problem!

Nice little spot in White Rock.
Plenty of parking around the area.

The food was good and fresh - I appreciate the fresh wasabi. Selection was decent for the place . The only qualm is the Salmon Aburi wasn't made tight so it broke with the pick up. Wasn't torched enough either.

      Service was good as well.

      Overall, Happy.

Best sushi around! This is my favorite place to go for sushi. It's the only place that has food that I'm consistently "in the mood for".

Crazy Boy special roll was warm, crispy, and delicious! I'm not usually a seafood/fish fan, but this hits the spot every time. The presentation is beautiful.

Size of sushi roll does vary. Sometimes so big that I have multiple bites, other times one mouthful only. On one occasion, weekday afternoon, my sushi was half normal size, boyfriend's sushi appeared twice normal size.

Service is pleasant. Indoor and outdoor seating options. The place can get busy at times, but not usually much wait time for seating.

      Updated review

The service was on point. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The food came out promptly and was hot and delicious. We tried several rolls as well as a beef son soup and miso soup. We also tried the sake mojito. Everything was perfectly presented and beautiful to look at. The soups were served hot and full of flavor. The sake mojito wasn't my favorite but only because it was a little more sour than I prefer. My husband loved his. We enjoyed our dinner here again and can't recommend enough. The prices are also very good especially considering the quality of the food. We will be back!

      Two words: REAL. WASABI.

White Rock has such gems, and this is one of them. It's unassuming and a small place, but don't let that deter you. It's got a substantial sushi menu, fresh fish, and lovely presentation.

We ate a lot (don't judge), and it was SO good we ordered one last roll. The sashimi plate had slices of fish that pretty much melted in your mouth. The smaller rolls were simple and perfect, and the fancy rolls are....fancy. The hot sake is a little spendier for a little less than what you might be used to, but the service is friendly (albeit a tad slower).

We weren't in a rush, so the slower service wasn't a big deal, and there is ample paid parking along the other side of the street. The only thing that was sort of a "sigh" was that the menu has a lot of cooked, and not as much raw as we were hoping. Other than that, it was a delightful experience and is so easy to get to. It's become part of the go-tos when we want a quick trip to Canada for some delicious Japanese food.

This place is located right along the beach walk of White Rock, so the location is fantastic. However, the drawback is that parking is notoriously hard to find, even during off-peak times. The only time when parking is readily available seems to be on rainy weekdays in winter. Their ambiance, service, and location are all five stars. We tried their Dragon Roll, Tuna Flower Roll, and a few nigiri pieces. The nigiri pieces came out after about 10 minutes, followed by the Tuna Flower Roll at around 15 minutes, and then finally the Dragon Roll at 25 minutes. I was not a big fan of the staggered bringing of the dishes since I like to try everyone all at once. In addition, the Dragon Roll had a bit too much saltiness to it and not enough unagi (eel) sauce. The rice was defiintely above average, but not the best I've tasted. The other rolls were fine.

Met a friend for dinner. She traveled up fr south of the border and I down fr central Vancouver. Weekday evening around 6pm. Not all that busy, newish spot.
      Pros:
      - comfortable seating and spacious between tables
      - large menu selection
      - open kitchen
      Notes:
      - I'm not fr White Rock so parking was not the easiest, not aware of any hacks (yet)
      - the neighboring space was pretty loud and the wall would physically shake (was unbothered but startled at first)
      - the prices are higher than I would've thought for Korean style Japanese food, the food was average, but the location is primo along the pier so I can definitely see perks to this place during the warmer seasons
