Logan and his crew came out to my house and did an amazing job on the sprinkler system and planting some native drought proof grass. He was very professional and knew his stuff. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for sprinkler work and lawn care/maintenance.

Recommended by a friend, we reached out to Logan to take care of some basic maintenance that had long been neglected. With just me and my mom holding down the fort, we haven't gotten around to the garden work in several years.

Sustainable L&G came for an initial consultation - to scope out the property and to hear what we wanted to do. Logan approximated it would take 1-2 days to tackle the mess of a yard. Two weeks later, Logan and team came to our house and immediately start hacking away at the jungle that was our yard. The team was extremely respectful of our house and the residents. The staff knocked on our door at the end of the day to have us inspect their work to see if we approved/needed anything else. They accommodated all the other wishes my mom had (random tree hacking/bush removal/etc). The process took one whole day and by the end, our property was completely transformed.

They left all the trimmings in one part of our drive way to collect the next morning. My one complaint is that they were later than initially stated. However, once I contacted the other owner (Chen) - Logan immediately called me back and set up another time for pick up. Luckily, my day was pretty open and this did not interfere with my day.

Logan was very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I know that my mom and I will definitely use Sustainable L&G again in the future.

Amazing work! Guys worked super fast and installed new irrigation system and lawn in 2,5 days. We couldn't be happier. What I liked the most is that Logan was super helpful with giving landscaping advise. The other companies I've met with usually need precise directions regarding what where and when to plant, they can't seem to recommend much but Logan has a great expertise and experience and actually gives great advise. After talking to him you get a clear picture of how your yard will look not just immediately but in 2-5 years or longer. I really appreciate it.
The prices are fair and you actually get a breakdown so you know exactly what you are paying for. Love it. Highly recommend.

These guys are on it! I got turned on to Logan and the crew through a friend. Logan got back to me right away and set up an appointment to check out my mess of a drip system (I had tried to repair myself and wisely decided to turn it over to more capable hands).

Logan came out and was up front and honest about "high end/low end" costs based on issues that may come up. We scheduled and the job was done in short order. Cost was lower than anticipated and Logan outlined various ways I could save money based on what I wanted to do. He was making sure I got the best value for my money. Also, his guys are pleasant, respectful, and communicative. Some landscape companies I have used in the past made me worried that the guys were casing my place to rob it later.....

We are planning a whole back yard remodel and I will be using S.L.&G. for the job. Treat yourself, don't cheat yourself and contact these guys for your landscape needs.

A brief shout out to Logan...

I got a notice from the water department, that my water use was excessive to the tune of $250! Though I had identified the problem, Logan came out, and went through my irrigation system with me and adjusted the settings. Additionally,he spent time with me talking about some trees on my property_all of this was without charge.

His professionalism, and empathy for my problem spoke volumes; I highly recommend him, and will use his services in the future (if I don't move out of the area).

I used Sustainable Landscape for regular garden maintenance on 4 properties for a 4-month period this past fall. Initially I was swayed by the fact that the price they offered was considerably lower than my previous gardener.

However, I recently decided to stop using them because the amount of value I received from their services wasn't worth the money I was paying them. I always had pleasant interactions with Logan and his team but I was repeatedly disappointed by their attention to detail and follow-through. I do not have a fancy lawn, but I was under the impression that I was paying them to maintain it on a very basic level. Even this very low expectation was not met. I rarely saw them at my property for longer than 15 min during a visit. I had multiple instances where I needed to ask for them to come back to redo areas that were missed. There are no topiaries or anything fancy at play here. We are talking basic weeding.

To their credit, they came back when it was requested and were responsive to my concerns. However, I got tired of having to do this repeatedly. Additionally, bids that I had requested for additional work were never delivered despite follow-up emails on my part.

We're a small association of townhomes (6 units) in San Mateo, and we've utilized Logan's expertise in a variety of ways. We chose his bid for a new water-conserving sprinkler system because it was clear he was very honest, had extensive knowledge about sprinkler systems, focused on conserving water, and was competitively-priced. During the almost two years since he installed the system, sprinkler heads have broken due to people stepping on them, and he has replaced or fixed them at no cost.

Logan has provided valuable free consultation on several landscaping issues, including sprinkler system alternatives, water conservation, pruning, drainage, and landscape lighting. He also informed us about the important things to look for, and the professionals to contact, regarding whether our redwood tree's roots could be damaging the foundation of our townhomes.

Aaron did a great job on my sprinkler system repair and at very reasonable rates - I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Be advised, they are very busy but they show up promptly as scheduled.

We needed to get our front yard done on very short notice and were calling different vendors on Yelp and Logan showed up the same afternoon, provided an estimate that night, came out with a crew of 5 the following morning and finished everything before 11am!
