New spot for me and very happy I stopped in.

I got 1 of each taco on the menu. I couldn't believe the amount of flavors pouring out of what seemed an ordinary taco but it was so much more. My top two tacos were the Al Pastor and Pollo. Their sour cream must be homemade because it tasted sooo good.

      Highly recommend this place.

The fish tacos were the best I've had in this area! Overflowing with fresh flavors!
My partner got the chicken burrito which was a very generous portion. Lots of fresh ingredients. Recommend adding the extras - sour cream, guacamole.
Salsa bar was a little weak, but had the main options.
The ambience is between a fast food place and a taco truck. Order at the counter. Bartender does double duty.
We sat at the bar. Margherita was excellent.
      Service was fast and friendly.
      We plan to return!

My husband was in the mood for tacos for dinner tonight so we decided to finally check out Tacoa!

We ordered their recommended Al Pastor Tacos as well as their Carne Asada Tacos and Fish Tacos. I really liked their Al Pastor Tacos, they were juicy and flavorful and I loved the slice of pineapple on top. The Fish Taco was pretty good, not the best I've had though and my husband said the Carne Asada Taco was lacking in salt. He also ordered a Margarita because they are $6 on Thursday's -- unfortunately he said they used too much of the premade stuff in it and it wasn't very good.

The inside wasn't the cleanest and the tables and chairs need to be updated as they were wobbly. It is also divided with one side being the restaurant and the other side being the bar area, but they have a decent salsa bar and they give you free chips as well. I also thought the lady working the front was very friendly and gave great recommendations!

Overall, I left bummed because I wasn't too impressed, but I might come back for their Al Pastor Tacos if I'm in the area!

You know, this particular shopping center hasn't had great food. I saw all the reviews and the overall high score so I pulled the trigger.

Both the person at the food counter and the bartender were very nice. The place was very stuffy on the inside when I arrived at 6pm. In fact, the temp was over outside than inside. So, not super comfortable. Could have benefited from even propping the door open to let the stuffy air out if they didn't want to run a/c.

I can confirm that this place says they have tacos and tequila; they delivered on this front. Now were the tacos good? Meh. Were the margaritas good? Meh. Both were edible/drinkable, but neither were made with much love or care. When I was ordering the food, I looked in the kitchen and saw one guy. Ok. Seems like a light staff, but maybe the guy is amazing. We ordered nachos to start with carne asada. The nachos were out in like 2-3 minutes. So you gotta ask yourself: Can you cook carne asada, melt cheese, assemble the plate and all the stuff on top in and get it to the table in 2-3 minutes? Well, the meat wasn't hot and it was dry. It was obviously pre-cooked. As it was on my carne asada taco. And it was bland. I ordered tripe taco, asked the tripas to be cooked extra crispy. It came out not hot and not crispy at all. Full on rubber tripas. The margaritas had no balance. Just tasted like a ton of lime juice. The proportions of tequila and triple sec and lime were way off. Maybe they had an off night when I came in, but honestly the tacos at Tacos 65 just around the way are cheaper and much better so I'd be hard pressed to ever return here.

Just had a flavor fiesta at Tacoa Tacos! Let's taco 'bout the Super Suiza an absolute must-try. It's not just delicious, it's like a flavor party in your mouth and, yes, it's as big as it is tasty.
But heads up, taco enthusiasts: the tacos are a bit on the pricier side compared to the rest of the menu. Worth it? You bet, but just something to note. Order your food in the main line, but if you're in the mood for a drink, you'll need to swing by the bar they keep the alcohol and tacos on different dance floors. Parking? They've got a sizeable lot, but the surrounding streets are like a mini urban safari busy and bustling. The staff? Always sporting smiles and serving friendliness on the side. Whether it's your first visit or your fiftieth, they make you feel right at home. Tacoa Tacos, you've got my taste buds' seal of approval!

Came for lunch debating between a cactus burrito- because I love cactus! But wasn't sure how good they make it.... And an Al Pastor burrito. I LOVE Al Pastor.

Cashier stated that I should go with the Al Pastor because it is her favorite, so I went for it and did half the beans. Glad I did because the burrito was a pretty good size!

Salsa bar was amazing! The he spicy Guacamole is delicious!!! Mild salsa had an amazing flavor. Chips they gave us in bags were very greasy and a little stale. The bags were drenched in oil as if it's been pre bagged for a while. The chips were a little stale.

There's a bar where people can have their drinks made and sit to eat their food as well. Cute little vibe. I would come back.

Would be nice if I can order food and try it. I called 2 times (months apart) to try and put in a phone order. Each time, I was put on hold and never heard back. First time was 10+ minutes of waiting before I hung up and second time was 5+ minutes of being put on hold before I gave up. I'm pretty sure the food is good, but looks like I won't get to try it.

I had the super tacos with carnitas. The carnitas was tender and juicy. The food came out really fast and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend Tacos y Tequila if you're in the east Sacramento area.

Love this place! Best tacos in Sacramento. Prices are on the higher side per taco, but they are SO generous with portions. My favorites are chorizo (hard to find someone else that does this soft crumbly goodness) and al pastor (comes with pineapple). I love their salsa bar too. My favorite is the green spicy salsa! Literally chef's kiss.

I like their blood orange margarita and tequila sour too!
