I am in search of a local restaurant to order take out for party of 7, are your portion size dining in equal for take out? I have experienced take out with much smaller portions than dining in at some restaurants.

      A:

I brought own containers for take-outs from them many, many times. The quantities were always same. Just order like dine-in, or place two orders if really like string beans or Toothpick Mutton.

Authentic Szechuan food. Me and my classmates went there for my birthday. Great sichuan Food. Restaurant is very clean, and the owner super nice. We feel like we back to China.

We patronized Tasty Szechuan at the recommendation from my sister, and I have to thank her for the recommendation. The interior is modern and we liked sitting at the plush booth. We really enjoyed the dishes we tried. Tasty Szechuan has many unique dishes. You can order from the server or scan a barcode for the menu and order with the app.
The dry hot pot is a must-try. You pick 3 meats and 3 veggis for the hot pot, and the choices were many. For the meats, we picked beef slices, pork belly, and pork intestines. We picked napa cabbage, king oyster mushrooms, and lotus root for the veggis. The mala sauce gave the dish a spicy and fragrant taste but not numbing spicy.
The hand-made dumplings were really good, and the house sauce which tasted like a mild soy sauce with a little sweetness to it, was great with the dumplings.
The Special Xinjiang Chicken came in a large rectangular tray. It was choke full of chicken and potatoes and we were surprised at the huge portions. The broth has a mild curry taste and the egg noodles that came with it really soaked up the broth, allowing us to enjoy the umami.
Lastly, the griddled bullfrog was cooked in the numbing spicy mala sauce and covered with dried red peppers! The flavor was terrific, but we were a bit disappointed that the bullfrog pieces didn't have a lot of meat.
We plan to come back and explore the menu further!

      Seated via Yelp Reservations

I found this place on accident, by putting in wrong address on google lol!

We ordered several dishes with the noodles, green beans, and Mongolian beef being my favorites. The chili chicken for me was not good. It's hard to describe but from what I can tell it is a very ginger forward dish and they are marinating the chicken in something which makes it taste rubbery.

The severs were nice but there was a little bit of a language barrier. The waitress I met by the name of Lisa when I got lost was not there that day

      Overall I would recommend !

I am a repeat. I am picky about my Asian food providers.
This, I like quite a bit.

Too many others are too Americanized for me.

Lamb cumin was on point. Tasty Szechuan has the perfect hit with the spicy level. It's on the hotter side! Beef cilantro was amazing as well. This is my go to spot for delicious and tasty Chinese food!

If I could give Tasty Szechuan zero stars, I would. This was my first time here and my experience with this restaurant was terrible. I placed an order expecting a delicious meal, but what I received was completely wrong. When I contacted the restaurant to address the issue, I was met with rudeness and indifference. The staff showed no interest in correcting their mistake and told me to travel all the way back to return the food (I don't live in the same city which I expressed). To make matters worse, they outright refused to give me a refund!

Their customer service is abysmal--it's as if they don't care at all about their customers. I was left with an incorrect order and no resolution, and they made no effort to make things right. This level of incompetence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere. Tasty Szechuan is not worth the frustration.

Tried this place for dinner and it was really good! Parking is street parking in front of the restaurant. I didn't have a res but was seated immediately upon walking in, but I think you can also make a reservation on Yelp. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that the food comes out piping hot and each dish has a generous portion.

Here's my rating of the food:
String beans + egg plant 5/5 eggplant is a MUST order from here. It is so good!!
Beef noodle soup: 5/5 very flavorful
Fish in chili oil: 4.7/5 it tasted better as leftovers the next day but still very good! I love the spices. Not too spicy but there's a kick and numbing powder

Overall, loved everything. Reasonably priced. Will definitely come back!!!

This restaurant is one of the best places for Sichuan cuisine in the Bay area. I've visited twice, and the food has been consistently amazing. However, the location is a bit shady, and parking can be challenging. The restaurant is small, and orders are placed through a QR code. The staff's English proficiency is limited, which can make communication difficult. Once seated, you're served hot tea, fried peanuts, and Sichuan-style cabbage kimchi. If these are not provided, it's best to ask for them, as the staff might miss them during busy times.

Now, onto the food--it's absolutely fantastic. We've tried the fish fillet in hot chili oil, stir-fried string beans, eggplant in garlic sauce, crispy prawns, mapo tofu, and fried rice. Everything is flavorful and delicious, except for the fried rice, which was our least favorite and something we'll skip next time. The portion size also justifies the price you may. This is gonna be our regular go to places.

We ordered to-go over the phone twice now . It took about 15 mins. The food is very flavorful and some items are saltier than others. You definitely need to eat rice with them if you do not tell them to cook with less salt.

First time, we got the Toothpick Lamb with Cumin Special (salty & spicy), Szechuan Beef (spicy & salty), Beef & Tendon Chili Sauce appetizer (less spicy), Eggplant with Garlic Sauce (sweeter side & less spicy), Dry Hot Pork Intestine (spicy & salty).

The second time we ordered, we asked for very low salt. The foods were less salty and spicy. We ordered some same items with new items. Chili Fried Chicken (good), Dry-Fried Green Beans (good), Deep-Fried Pork Intestines (good).

Parking is on the street or the parking lot behind the building next to it. I've also ate here before but don't remember much.

Toothpick Lamb with Cumin Special, Dry Hot Pork Intestine Skillet, Beef & Tendon Chili Sauce, Eggplant with Garlic Sauce, Szechuan Beef
Chili Fried Chicken, Dry-Fried Green Beans, Deep-Fried Pork Intestines, Szechuan Beef, Toothpick Lamb with Cumin Special

      Updated review

We grabbed takeout and it took about half an hour for the food to be ready.

The food is delicious as usual but we need to eat there rather than do takeout. The food is fresh and so spicy but it's worth every bite and for the flavor
