Solid local boba place that's open relatively late compared to neighboring boba spots. We came in about 45 minutes to closing. It's a small space with only one employee. We told her it was our first time there and she gave us food recommendations and tips. She was honest in that the fruit teas had to be made with sugar. We went with the classics--taro and almond. Both were so good that they obviously had some sugar content in them. Not complaining; I mean, we ARE getting boba so it's not like we're on a strict beach bod diet.

The only two gripes I have are that we asked for light ice and instead got a big heaping scoop of ice, and the boba was a little on the mushy side. We could have just had a bad batch.

I'm so confused. The reviews are high for this place so I was excited to try this place and with the weather being so hot lately, I drove over here after work.

      Pros:
-Parking is easy and doesn't require money
-Prices are reasonable to other boba places
-Cups are nice, my co-worker thinks their logo looks great
-Few seats in the establishment so you can sit and chill

      Cons:
-Service wasn't really energetic... kind of reminds me of a worker at Quickly's honestly
-Tiger milk tea, 25% sweet, no ice - I watched as the worker filled 90% of the cup with whole milk so each sip literally just tasted like milk which was not what I paid for

Overall, it's a pass from me. I'm not sure when I would come back.

My friend and I wanted something sweet after our lunch and decided to try a new boba place other than Boba Guys! We found this place on accident when we drove by so we decided to check it out! Really cute, small shop!

I ordered a 2 Thai milk tea with boba (one for a friend at work) since they didn't have jasmine milk tea. A bit strange right? I wanted to order the "egg waffle" but the cashier said they're sold out.... weird, we came in around 1:15PM and they're open until 10PM. I didn't question it and just proceeded with my order.

There were maybe 4 people in front of us that ordered. One cashier and one barista so drinks took a lot long we than we thought. We got our drinks around 1:45PM.

I honestly felt they need another barista because drinks took us way too long and they had a long line too so I tried be a bit understanding. We grabbed our drinks and went back to work. The Thai milk tea was good! Boba was a bit too soft for my taste. I had 100% sweetness and my friend got 50% sweetness for her HK milk tea. Her drink was way sweeter than mine.

Reasons why I'm taking away 2 stars:

      - It took 35 minutes to make our drinks. Please hire another barista as you guys were busy!
      - The cashier didn't let us know that if we buy 2 drinks, we get one free plus free toppings :(

I might give this place another try for their fruit teas!

New boba shop on Laurel (near Brittan) that's about 2 weeks young. While it is another boba place, it's a nice addition that is away from the busier area of Laurel. While you can get your boba from Boba Guys or Crepe Shop, this is a little different because it's more fruity teas and a handful of the classic offerings (Hong Kong Style Tea, Taro MT, Thai MT, Earl Grey MT) and they also offer the salted cheese drinks (which is quite popular now). They have a limited selection of snacks: bubble waffle, takoyaki, Spam musubi and fruit cups.

I was a little disappointed that they couldn't make some of their drinks hot, other than the offered coffee drinks. I wanted a hot earl grey milk tea with salt cream (D7 on the menu) and they said it only came as a cold drink. I ended up ordering the HK style milk tea because I wanted a hot drink. It was wonderful--a nice balance of sweetened condensed & evaporated milk; none of the other area boba shops offers this style of tea.

The shop is small and not a great place to hang out; there's just a few bar stools to sit and wait for your drink.

Overall, it is worth checking out.

They are very nice! We tried their egg waffles and were Ñummy! They were kids friendly, and the woman also offered kids drinks to them for free!
They were nice, kind and everything taste good!
      Will come back for sure

Fruit tea ( I already drank the tea) but I'm so happy it has real fruit and it's supper tasty! I loved the passion fruit touch!

The milk sugar boba tastes homemade in a way that I wouldn't recommend coming back for. The matcha was unmemorable. I figured this might be the case but their branding was cute and IG-worthy.

Recommend mints and honey and boba guys for better quality tea and boba.

I purposely detoured to come check out Tea Hub that's been on my Yelp bookmarks for a while and my first sip tasted like disappointment. My milk tea was underwhelming; more on the creamy than tea side. The grass jelly was alright, but I'm doubtful I should splurge on their toppings in the future. It was a pricey basic drink.

The place is small and not really for hanging out, although I can see a small group here on a sunny day, spilling out to the sidewalk. Their service was very low energy. I agree with another Yelper - it felt like I walked into a Quickly's.

One of the worst boba tea places ever. Not just in the area. We wanted to try something new and the lines at Boba Guys are always long - now I know, it's for a good reason. There seems to be only 2 boba tea places in the area (San Carlos / Belmont) and I would not make the mistake of coming back.

I got the taro milk tea hot and it was just terrible. Extremely sweet and artificial tasting. I could hardly get past the first sip, it was that bad. Rare to find boba tea that's nearly undrinkable. I came home and diluted it with more milk in an attempt to make it not so sickening sweet. It did get less sweet, but the taste was bad, so I just threw it out.

Their teas are $1 cheaper than Boba Guys and their lines are short or non-existent but it's not worth it.

Not a bad place if you're craving boba in San Carlos and don't have time to wait in line at Boba Guys. It's a good alternative if you're close by and looking for something quick.

They have a bunch of flavorful teas and fruit juices on the menu, and I've never had to wait in line, even on a weekend afternoon. We've ordered the passionfruit juice and milk tea. The boba (the few times I've had it) is slightly harder (as in, less chewy) and smaller than I'd prefer, but it still hits the spot.

I got their tiger tea (pretty much milk, brown sugar and boba) here because it was late and I didn't want to deal with caffeine... and I was craving some brown sugar. For what the price was (about $5) it was a decent size, but still pricey for what we bought. My sis and I had to ask for them to remake it because we could hardly taste the brown sugar and it was mostly just milk. What's disappointing is that they just used milk from a carton instead of fresh milk like we were craving. The boba was decent though so i'll give them that.

Maybe we didn't get the best drink there, but i give Tea Hub a meh.
