While I will eat Thai food if that's my friends' or group's preference, however, all my life I have avoided Thai cuisine because of the heavy use of coconut and peanuts in their dishes. Thai Satay Restaurant has turned that preference upside down!

I have fallen in love with their delicate balance of coconut that is not overpowering in their dishes. Their Seafood Delight dish is true to its name! If you already love this cuisine I think you'll really enjoy this place.

The restaurant entrance is flat and very ADA accessible. Street parking has always been convenient, but there also is a metered parking lot nearby.

This review is solely on the food.
We ordered pad Thai I really it was terrible over cooked noodles!
I was hoping I can trowel my noodles but not a chance, they were smoochy ! Reheating way too many times. You can see it for yourself on the picture. The second plate was the pork plate oh lord smh ! I've never had pork so dry and flavorless. Terrible food.

The customer service is friendly. The ambiance is casual and quiet. The food is good. I liked the shrimp rolls and satay. Chicken teriyaki was okay. Would probably come here once in a while.

It's been a minute since we were here, but we really wanted thai so my coworker and I decided to give this place another try.

Highlights: great thai iced thai and quick service.

Cons: horrible free salad and weird watery coconut soup with some veggies. I love coconut, but this soup tastes like a weird coconut soap. Leaves a weird taste in your mouth. Coworkers chicken lunch was hella dry.

The crab Rangoon is filled with cream cheese and no crab. See picture.

Lunch special is reasonable and the peanut sauce and Pad Thai are good.

A bunch of hits and misses so I'll give this 3 stars.

Everything about this place is excellent! Another one of my favorite go to for catering or even just grabbing lunch or dinner! The owners, Boon and Ann are such amazing, sweet, and caring people! They make it very easy for me when I do a catering request. They always arrive on time and offer help setting up. The food always comes nice and hot and the presentation and quality is superb!

This food is delicious and vegan friendly! And they're so nice and are actually Thai!
Sweet basil tofu was had nice basil flavor. The spicy fried rice was soooo good (our favorite) and not that spicy. We also got the mushroom soup and it came in a cute dish. Their presentation of the food is always really pretty. Not that many people inside but has a nice cozy feeling

This place is my family's go to Thai spot. The food is consistent, the service is good, the price is solid.

Great choice for a casual dinner! We always get the vegetarian tom kha gai soup and the eggplant basil. Then mix in whatever curry and noodle dish we're feeling that day.

Came here pretty late one night after a day of errands and a meeting after work. Food was pretty good. Decent portions. Thai tea was also good. The ambiance of the place was very pretty. I would probably choose this place if I wanted to throw a small gathering it's so pretty inside. Service was great. The workers were very accomodating to my request of zero spice level. There was one dish that I thought may be spicy since I saw the small red peppers. She asked that I try the dish and if I thought it was too spicy she would have them remake. It turned out OK and thankfully no changes needed to be made.

I really like this place. In the afternoon, the lunch special is a great way to go. Small portions of two different dishes, spring rolls, salad and I order Pad Thai and usually yellow curry chicken. The papaya salad is also delicious. The attention to detail is there in terms of flavor profile,I love the crinkle cut on most of the vegetables and the blue and white dishes are darling. I love the Tom Kha Gai soup in the tureen that they light on fire to keep the soup hot. Dinner portions are quite large compared to other
Thai restaurants, but with a comparable price, making Thai Satay a good value. Service is quite good and despite the large space, it almost feels as though you are in your grandma's kitchen... " Can i get you anything else? More tea perhaps?"Speaking of grandma's kitchen, the interior could use a refresh, especially the bathrooms. Everything is clean, but the wooden tables are a bit sticky in that homey " too much Murphy's Oil Soap" kind of way. Thai comfort food!
