Thai Time is a newer spot in Sacramento, but they've become a fast favorite. I've stopped by for takeout many times now and they consistently serve delicious menu items.

Even though they have street parking, I have always been able to find a parking spot. There's also a 15 minute spot that's perfect if you're picking up takeout like I do.

The space is beautiful and open and has table and bar seating. I love the big THAI TIME on the wall, great for photos and it pulls the restaurant together.

I've been trying to work my way through the menu, but I've tried multiple curries, drunken noodles, tom kha soup, postickers, Thai tea and I can't wait to try more. Everything is super flavorful and the portions are a great size for the price. Definitely sharable, especially if you order a soup and entree or appetizer and entree.

I love that you can adjust the spice level on most dishes and that they offer vegan and gluten free options. It's a great spot for lunch and dinner and leftovers rewarm very well, though it's so tasty you won't want to stop eating.

The owner has always been there when I stop in and she's so nice. You can tell they care about the quality of the food and their customer's experiences.

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, my husband and I found our new, favorite Thai restaurant! We've tried so many new establishments that offer Thai food, and most are very good, but this establishment takes it up to a top notch!

The moment we entered this lovely establishment, we were greeted by a very attentive and happy hostess, which I now realize was the owner, and she escorted us to our table. The interior is very clean, pristine, and comfortable and modern. The entire three walls of the restaurant are windows that look into the street outside, but you don't feel like you are in a fishbowl, as the windows have sheer window coverings. There is a gorgeous, modern, beautifully lit bar on one side, that provides a lot of ambience, and my favorite aesthetic part of the perimeter of the dining area is a drop dead gorgeous area of beautiful, healthy houseplants the owner displays to make you even feel more at home! If she takes this much care for her plants and the other aspects of the dining experience, you know the food will be equally as crafted and delicious ...which, it was!

We ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer, my husband ordered the basil beef (his favorite Thai dish), and I ordered a new dish I never tried--avocado green curry with chicken.

My husband really enjoyed his dish, he said the sauce was the most flavorful he's had in this dish before, and we loved the perfectly cooked, succulent coconut shrimp. They were Devine!

I couldn't believe how delicious my curry was...the spice level was perfect, the sauce was sooooo flavorful and the avocado..well, it was the perfect ripeness and added so much more to an already sublime Thai dish! This is something I could eat all the time!! We also really enjoyed our iced Thai teas!

We left fulfilled, super impressed, and loved every moment of this beautiful dining experience! The owner should be very proud of the hard work she and her team have created! I really am impressed at all of the hard work she's done here at making it a comfortable, delicious taste of her homeland!

Can't wait to come back!! It's the best!

This is my second time eating at Thai Time and once again it was delicious!!

This time I got the Drunken Chow Mein and the Massaman Curry with roti and a Thai tea on the side. The Drunken Chow Mein was so flavorful, with the sauce perfectly coating each noodle. The noodle itself is actually ramen, despite the name of the dish, don't expect the Chow Mein noodles you'd see at a Chinese restaurant. However, I love ramen noodles so this was perfect for me. The dish had lots of bell peppers and veggies as well. The first time I came here, I got Kao Soi, it was the first time I ever tried the dish and Omg ya'll I was in heaven, it was amazing!

The Massaman Curry was tasty as well. This is only the second Thai restaurant I've had Massaman Curry and I'm a fan for sure especially with the Roti dipped in. I think I prefer the other restaurant's Massaman curry, this was still good though. I will also say I ordered it "not spicy" and I think it would've really elevated the level if I did get some spice added to it.

Thai Tea was standard and good. They also have Green Thai Green Tea, which I haven't tried yet but really want to try in the future!

The service was attentive, fast and helpful when answering questions about the menu. The owner even came over and talked to us after we received our meal to ensure everything was good and to learn more about us. I loved this! Felt like we were part of the family.

Lastly, the ambiance felt upscale compared to other Thai restaurants I've been to with sleek back tables and chairs. The best part was while it felt upscale, the prices were affordable and comparable to other Thai spots.

All around I'd say this is great place to try and I'd go again!

Finally a Thai place close to my house that is incredible. After being disappointed at the ketchup flavored pad Thai at Coconut on T and the inedible chicken at Orchid Thai, I am amazed by the quality and taste of Thai Time! It blew me away and I have visited this place a few times now and even brought my mom, gbaby and cousins. Every visit I am greeted by our lovely waitress, clean tables and beautiful inviting atmosphere. This place is modern and can't be beat. My favorite dish is the coconut shrimp as my appetizer, pad prik king with white rice and the delicious pad Thai with chicken. You can switch up your proteins and even make any dish vegan. I highly recommend this place for a classic Thai experience.

I liked this place along with the food and I plan on trying different items off the menu in the future. Some of them have unique ingredients and I want to try those next time. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert but that's ok.

I came here one month ago on 4/22/24

I found an earwig in my plate of drunken noodles.
The restaurant tried to make an excuse saying that there were bugs in the food because the veggies were just so fresh?? It would be better if they just owned up to the error.

Besides that, the food is okay - good flavors but far too sweet and lacking any spice. Prices are a bit high as well. I liked the interior of the restaurant and the service was fine.
