I'm surprised this place has such a bad rating. I've definitely had worse boba tea than this in the States.

Stumbled upon The Bubble Tea Place in Victoria Chinatown and it did not disappoint. We tried their Oolong Tea & Fire Rooster (Mango Papaya Pineapple) with traditional boba and mango jelly and boy that was exactly what we wanted to beat the heat on a hot summer afternoon. We ordered both our bobas without any added sugar and it was perfect. Service was quick. This spot is right next to Fan Tan Alley and has limited seating indoors. Highly recommend to satisfy your boba cravings in Victoria.

We bought a cup during our visit there and when we got home, we realized it was defective because it would not close! It wont stay closed and we paid $35 for it. I keep calling and no one answers! I have left a message through instagram and no one has replied. It is very sad and i loved the cup but cant even use it how its suppose to be used! I would be happy if they just mailed me a new cup versus a complete loss. Disappointing!

It certainly wasn't reusable or usable

This is such an original Boba tea place. There's not one like it. It's very eclectic decor. When you go inside you can instantly smell the aroma of all the incense burning. They have incense for sale all around the shop. They also sell memorabilia with the shop's logo on hats and totes. They have a list of drinks and it all cost the same price for their Boba tea depending on the size. 20 ounce is seven dollars and 27 ounce is eight dollars. When you walk inside the flooring has a picture of a dragon and Ying yang sign made out of pennies, very unique! Good music and helpful staff. They were about to close and they saw us passing by looking at their menu and the staff told us they are closed but allowed us to still come in if we wanted to grab a quick drink. The drink to me didn't taste very authentic and they were all powder mixed drinks. And not fresh brew teas or real fruit flavor. The drinks to me were just ok, but I liked the unique atmosphere the most that's why I gave it an extra star.

Decided to stop in here to try Bobba Tea for the first time. Upon entering the store I could smell a unique and very pleasant blend of scents; I browsed a variety on incense, chose a few and then made my way to the counter to order my tea. I was not really sure which tea to choose as there were so many but the guy who assisted me made it easy by asking me what kind of tea I like to drink regularly, which is chai - I the chose to order the Rooibos Chai with Vanilla Soy and Strawberry fruit flavor, slightly sweetened. It was pretty good.

Overall experience went well, this place is a little hipster; unfortunately I can't compare to any other Bubble Tea spots since this is my first experience... But based on my encounter on this day, I'd definitely drink Bubble tea again.

Surprisingly there aren't many highly rated bubble tea places, but this may have been the most popular among the rest. Nestled within the Chinatown, this place has a large menu with tons of unique bubble tea options. It's almost like every menu item is made to seem like a cocktail. Although interesting on paper, I found the drinks to be a bit artificial in flavor and the tea weaker than expected. The boba was good, the service fast, and overall passable for a pick me up on a hot day. There's a decent amount of space inside which they could probably do a lot with, but they only manage to have barely three tables.

This is not your standard bubble tea black. They mix a lot of flavors together. The rooibus chai milk tea was flavorless but had a lot of powdered spices in it. It tasted kind of sandy.... It was not good

The creamy creamsicle was ok. But it had a thick sluggish texture.

I think I will pass on this place. Either you love it or you won't.

If you've never had bubble tea now is your chance. Very hip vibe with very friendly staff. Tea was amazing. I went with the Earl Grey and a Honey do.

      I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The only thing that would make this place any better would be adding a liquor shot to the yummy teas. We ordered one hot drink and 3 bubble teas. They had a fun Harry Potter menu. I had the bartender decide my drink for Ms and it was lovely. Everything was average in pricing and delicious!!
