The Butterfly Joint

We had great fun at a Friday Toddler class. My two year old loved it and I was surprised at how skilled and focused she was!!

This is primarily a cafe with some pastries and a rotating installation of local art and crafts. The coffee is tasty, and the espresso menu is pretty extensive. They offer iced espresso drinks as well.

There isn't seating, so plan to take your drinks/pastries to go. The staff are really nice and friendly; we noticed that they remembered locals' names and orders, which was nice! We paid about $9 for two oat milk lattes, which isn't bad for SF.

Butterfly Joint is an absolute gem in the neighborhood! Danny and Erin are awesome, their coffee and treats are excellent, and they've built a real community.

It's such a cute hole in the way, neighborhood spot.

Lovely little walk up coffee window. Delicious. Friendly. Reasonable. Had the foghorn latte and a fiber cookie. No complaints

The lady that greeted us was so sweet and our lattes were delicious. Also we got one of their freshly baked out of the oven donuts - the lemon one and it was one of the best donuts I've had in awhile. It tasted kind of like a mochi donut. Perfectly crisp on the outside and chewy and soft on the inside. Super cute spot I recommend you check it out!

One of my favorite aspects of living in SF is discovering new cafes and restaurants. Before a wonderful walk in Lands End my husband and I stumbled up The Butterfly Joint. People were flitting about in front so it piqued our curiosity.

This little cafe window serves up house made donuts, treats from other local bakers, and coffee. We ordered the lemon donut, cardamom donut, a chocolate chip cookie, and two hand pies. Everything was delicious, especially the hand pie with turmeric butter crust.

The service was so friendly. We will definitely come back!

Cool little spot to get a legit cup of coffee in the Outer Richmond. It's run out of a woodworking shop/studio, you order at the service window. NGL, best cappuccino I've had in a long time! I ordered the Columbiana or Columbiano espresso as a cappuccino. I met Erin who was an absolute sweetheart. Super friendly and calls regulars by their names. I'd come here all the time if I lived in the Outer Richmond.

1000% recommend this neighborhood joint especially if you're a coffee purist. It's simply really good coffee. I think they have some trendy/gimmicky lattes on the menu also which I can't speak to but I'll definitely be coming back for their cappuccino.

We tried out the donut muffin and two of their vegan pies. All tasty. I also got an Americano. Cool kiosk window is the Cafe part of The Butterfly Joint, a woodworking and design studio for children. Service is friendly.

They now sell pastries and coffee! We walked down here to order a little morning pick me up. I ordered a mocha and a mochi donut. The mocha had a spicy kick to it. Delicious. This is the first time I had a mochi donut and it was very good.

Service is quick and friendly. We sat on their handmade benches while we waited for our drinks. Would definitely come back. This is the only place nearby where you can buy coffee and pastries.

What the heck this place is so good. The hand pie I just finished was incredible and the cappuccino on point. Can't wait to come back and try everything!!
Reasonable prices too :)
