This Centurion Lounge at SFO is very dependable in having available seats and offering great food/drinks & service. The space is very clean and spacious, and it really does give an opportunity to relax before a flight. There are a variety of seating options ranging from small tables, open seating areas, to personal "cubbies". Wifi works great here too.

The food has been quite good as well. I have been here for breakfast and dinner, and both times have had a wide variety of hot/cold dishes along with fresh fruit + veggies too. All in all, there is always something for everyone at this Centurion Lounge.

The area around the lounge is currently under construction, so don't be confused if it seems like you're walking the wrong way--the Amex Centurion Lounge is definitely still there and open!

Douglas at the bar was straight up offensive. When I ordered two mimosas, one for me and one for my wife, he used profanity with me.

His exact quote was "we aren't in the business of getting people fucked up"

He then told me I was making him look like a dick when I asked if he was for real.

The most unprofessional bartender I've had in a long time, and that's saying something.

For $695 per year, Amex could do better.

If you are flying out of SFO, one of the only ways to beat the inevitable delays is the Centurion Lounge. Unfortunately, it is mostly "capacity controlled," and your $695/year fee buys you ... not much.

If you are lucky enough to be admitted, you will be "welcomed" by a snarky automatron behind the desk who requests in a stack voice, "Boarding Pass. ID. Amex Card. WR Code."

Once admitted, you have access to a "full" bar (limited hours: don't try to get a real drink before 1030) and a self-serve array of mass prepared snacks.

Better than being among the hoi-polloi. Not great. For $695/year, one expects more.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Centurion Lounge at SFO, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The lounge is clean, spacious, and very open, which provided a nice, airy atmosphere. One of the highlights was definitely the views of the terminal, which added a unique element to the lounge experience. The new interior is very well done, with modern touches that enhance the overall ambiance.

The food available in the lounge looked good but lacked variety. While the quality was decent, a bit more selection would have been appreciated. Despite this, the lounge was not packed, which made for a comfortable and relaxing visit.

The staff at the lounge were exceptionally kind and helpful, contributing significantly to the positive experience. However, finding the lounge was a bit of a challenge. The signage for gates F1 and F2 was not very clear, making it somewhat difficult to locate the lounge. But once inside, the overall experience was quite enjoyable.

In summary, the Centurion Lounge at SFO is one of the better lounges I've visited, offering a clean and spacious environment with great views and a well-done interior. The kind staff and pleasant atmosphere make it worth the visit. Just be prepared for a bit of a hunt to find it!

Had a chance to visit the Centurion lounge on a recent trip and this was an awesome experience! We stopped by around lunch time before our flight and it was a great experience. They have a full bar here and plenty of space which was nice.

We got to try mini crabcakes, truffle flatbread, butternut squash Soup, tomato soup as well as chicken and a variety of veggies which were all delicious. The desserts were also amazing with lots of cookie options as well as a delicious fig tart! So many options to choose from, I was absolutely stuffed by the end of the meal - in a great way. Service was absolutely awesome. We didn't get a chance to try any of the drinks at the bar, but we hope to next time! Overall, would highly recommend to check out if you have the Amex Platinum!

      Great ambiance!
Staff are great and willing to help and offer help whenever you need it

Check-in is a breeze and the lady at the reception is super friendly and she remembered my name throughout our stay there.

The food is good and I am full that I don't think I can on the plane.

It is a good place to send and log on to do your work or travel planning.

My favorite airport lounge! They have free SF postcards they'll mail for you that I always try to send.

Lots of free alcohol and cocktails. Comfy seating and TVs that sometimes play professional tennis. Friendly service and lots of good food. Worth stopping by but not worth the $50 guest fee.

This lounge is actually pretty good and had the chance to see them switch from breakfast to lunch.

Keep in mind this lounge can get pretty busy depending on the time of day and mine experience was no different as I flew out at 1:20pm.

Arrived and checked in without an issue and headed straight for the food. It was a typical breakfast spread with eggs, bacon, meatless options, toast, yogurt, and fresh fruit. They also have a self service coffee machine for lattes, cappuccinos, etc.

Lunch was better with some chicken and steak options. I opted for the corn salad, quinoa, and steak. The steak was a tad tough and a little flavorless, but its nice to not have to pay for a meal in the airport. Plenty of alcohol options, beer, and wine, but didn't have any of that on this trip.

Overall it is a nice club, but I do feel like airport lounges in general are becoming too crowded.

Stellar service. Great breakfast buffet, the caramelized onions scrambled eggs and sausage patties are probably the best breakfast we've had in a while. The staff keeps the facility immaculately clean, the stations are well stocked, they are friendly and very attentive. Even their drip coffee is great, which says a lot about this place. Love it here, wonderful experience.
