      This review for the newly opened speakeasy downstairs.

      Cover is $8 to get in. You could go upstairs and come back with no additional charge. Just gotta let the ladies at the door know.

      Drinks are actually very well made! But expensive ~$16 per cocktail. We tried a tequila cocktail and a vodka one (I forgot the names lol). Pool games are free which is nice! They have two pool tables and a bunch of seating. They also have a DJ playing but no dance floor. It's more chill and classy. If you want to dance, go upstairs.

      I did enjoy the vibes and bathrooms are way cleaner. Nice spot for a date night.

      Their happy hour is from 2pm - 7pm. I'll start with that!

      Cool spot for gathering with friends. The vibe is a mix of country meets, hipster but in Hayward. Tables accommodate large groups of 10 or more, or just two as in our case.

      HH drinks are $8. At first I silently protested, they should be $6. But when I had the margarita I understood the price point, the drinks are well made.

      * Pomegranate Margarita
      * Prickly Pear Paloma

      The margarita was perfect. Well mixed and not sweet. The Paloma was good but included Mezcal, which I do enjoy but it would have been nice to know that it was a key ingredient, since it has such a strong flavor and aroma. Still good but fyi.

      So why 3 stars? The bathroom. It was like a bad scene change in a movie. I went from well how do bro, to gas station garage stop. The bathroom obviously didn't make the budget.

      Aside from that, cool spot for drinks and social time.

      This review is for Paradise in the basement of the dirty bird.
      First off, they charge $8 to get in. They have two pool tables down there and the atmosphere is classy and nice, but the mixed drinks are expensive and small.

      I know guys have a dress code and women don't seem to have one.

      We had parked in a parking lot and heard music, so we followed the music, and were delightfully surprised to find The Dirty Bird Lounge. The security guys invited us in, they explained there was a DJ in the back patio, and Bachata dancers. We were welcomed to come in. Lovely outdoor patio. We headed inside to order our drinks happy hour.
      $16 bucks for two Margaritas, our waitress made incredible drinks, and was very delightful to talk to. The inside has plenty of seating, and rustic funky decor. There is street parking and a parking lot on the side to the back. They had TVs on with the Giants and the 49ers.!!

      One of the few bars in downtown Hayward. It's been a few years since I been here but the vibe is always good. Very spacious and plenty of seating. They usually have a DJ playing. Randomly came on a Wednesday and it happened to be karaoke night. Bartenders are relatively quick. Pretty cheap drink prices, around $10-$11 for a cocktail. They have happy hour available too!

      Came here for a special bachata event and took uber to get here. The venue is spacious and back patio is humongous as well. I ordered some finger food like mushroom empanada and string fries as well as the happy hour moscow mule special! Empanada was A-ok on the small side but the fries were good. I enjoyed the Moscow Mules which were refreshing. The Bachata Bash was in the outdoor patio so there were plenty of seating and room for dancing

      Came to the soft opening of the Dirty Bird of Paradise. It was very classy. The selection was top tier and the service was wonderful. Manager Brittany was very warm and welcoming. The lady at the door Sav was also so kind and welcoming. Overall a great time, with great vibes, great music, and tasty drinks.

      This is a great addition to the Hayward community.

      Came here for their grand opening night to check it out. Initially saw the ad on Facebook and was excited to find out they're finally opening. They had a $8 cover charge and have dress attire enforce. We got there around ~8p and there was a short line outside

      The space is really nice. They have 5 tables by the DJ area, two high tables by the pool area and a huge communal table in a separate room. There are also 4-5 round tables by the bar area. We sat by the DJ which happened to be too loud and will never do that again. It was very hard to converse.

      Their drink menu was cool. They have a very huge selection of goood tequila! They also offer a few food items which were decent but a tiny bit over piece ($8 for 1 empanada, eeek). The best dish they have is the shrimp skewer although only came with 3 shrimps but it was flavorful and cooked perfectly.

      Would def visit again to try their other drinks!

      The lounge features a tunnel-like entrance, a large open space, beautiful and unique artwork on the walls, nice lighting, exposed brick, cement flooring, an inviting atmosphere quite loud with plenty of conversation echoing throughout, kitchen at the right hand side of the bar (food served late), QR codes at the tables for drink and food menus, hip hop music playing in the background, dj coming on around 9:45pm on a Saturday, and a lot of security staff around, not surprisingly since it seems to have more of a club atmosphere later at night. We simply enjoyed dinner here and tried a couple of cocktails from the bar menu, the pomegranate herradura margarita and tiger's blood. Both drinks were tasty and strong in alcohol. Went well with our dishes from the Tailfeathers menu (steak sliders, and beef and mushroom empanadas). Service was standard, and we enjoyed our entire experience here.
