Great place to wash my 70 lb GSD. Friendly staff, several wash tubs and groomers are available. Cost is by size, so $20 for my pup. Ten washes gets you a free wash.

Easy to get to and plenty of parking. Check out the Dog Wash, Etc. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They greet you as soon as you walk in and offer their assistance immediately. You can't go wrong with that.

They do have many options around food, snacks, alternative meds and items for your dog. So many choices for everything. My dog loves going in because of all the smells, and it is hard to leave without some sort of treat for him.

The wash center is awesome and easy to use. The staff is always around to assist you, and leave you alone if you don't need help. They will help you get your dog in to the wash area and show you how to work the water, brushes, soaps and hair dryer. It is so easy.

Fair warning, you will get wet, even with the water bib they have for you to use. It is just the nature of dog washes, they will always shake and it makes for a great laugh.

They have a great punch card system, which gives you free washes. Can't go wrong there!

It's local and they really make you feel special. So, next time you are on Forest Ave, swing by and check them out.

I love this place. I have two rescue dogs - one is old and mellow and the other is 3 years old with major anxiety. I originally started going here to get my dogs' nails trimmed because it was too difficult to do myself. In comes Evie- she is amazing at trimming dog nails! My younger dog would prefer to never leave my street, but he actually gives her quick kisses and she trims the nails so quickly he doesn't realize what is happening. I now only take my dogs here for nail trims. All the staff is also super helpful and knowledgeable about the products they carry. They even helped me pick out some CBD treats for my anxious dog. Five stars!

My precious pup, Winnie Rue loves The Dog Wash Etc!! Her feet start running in the air as soon as I pick her up out of the car and head to the front door. I love how clean this place smells every time I walk in. I stop by all time of day they are open and operating and their staff is always top notch, professional, knowledgeable and they LOVE my dog as much as I do. Tremendous selection of holistic pet food and the toy selection is AWESOME!! So impressed with their curation of doggie toys in particular; wide range of high end toys, to affordable. I don't think I've ever been so happy that a business actually existed. As I was driving to this location, I thought "thank god I don't have to bring this dog through my house".

You see, we decided to take our dogs to our favorite off leash dog beach at the end of Black Point. Despite it being INSANELY windy and cold, the walk felt good, especially during the dark days of winter. About 25 yards from the car, one of our three dogs, Carly, was not walking next to me, like she had been during the WHOLE walk. I looked back and there she was.... ROLLING!!! NOooooooo! Anyone with a dog knows that rolling is NOT good. In fact it's almost always VERY bad. This smell was maybe second to a skunk spray. She had rolled in something very dead and very fishy. I spent the ride back into town freezing, with the windows down, trying to get my two other dogs from getting anywhere near her, in the back of the car. As I drove home, I began concocting plans on how to get Carly through our house, up the stairs, to the tub, without her touching the carpet. And then, I remembered The Dog Wash.

Upon arrival, I tied Carly up outside to a railing, and went inside to the counter. I told them my predicament and they said "go directly over to that wash station" which I did. When I got there someone came over to see if I needed anything and then kindly gave some super shampoo to rid your pet of very smelly things. It worked perfectly. Carly, who hates baths, is no match for the professional dog wash tubs and restraint collars latched to the sides. In very little time, I was driving home with a clean fresh smelling pet. Thank you again, Dog Wash, my dogs and I will be back, I'm sure.

We took our dog here for a wash after a pretty muddy trip to the dog park. The self-washing set up is very easy, and they provide great products to use. The lack of a time limit was great, as it was pretty cold and we wanted to make sure he was dry before taking him back out. The staff was very helpful, and did a great job interacting with our young puppy in a positive reinforcing way. They also have great quality food, treats, and toys. If we lived in Portland, pretty sure this would be our pet store.

Very patient and kind with my spazzy, high strung need of a dog who hates his nails clipped. They've got a new customer!!

Brought our lab mix over to The Dog Wash this morning for a nail trim. The girl doing it was quick, professional and very caring with our shivering girl. She then got slammed with 4 more trims after us, so we hung out a bit as our girl picked out treats. The employee (short brown hair) was extremely apologetic, though there was no need to be. We always have a great experience when we bring our dog in to shop or just socialize and get comfortable with going into shops. They're also really great with special orders and giving advice on nutritional treats/chews for our dog. Truly a gem on outer Forest!
