The Grateful Dent

Rob was extremely professional, helpful and effective at removing the dents in my Model 3. I had gotten quotes from several auto body shops to repair a door dent in my front passenger door that popped the door area (under the handle) out significantly. There were about four other small door dents on my car too but I was mostly concerned about the dent that affected the door handle. Other shops quoted me between $650-$1,100 to fix only the door handle area and one shop quoted me $3,076 to repair all the dents and repaint those areas. Rob met me at my home to examine the dents. He quoted me $500 for all of the dents, but he was very clear that the area along the crease/line under the door handle wouldn't be 100% like new because it's difficult. I was fine with that. He also said he would do his best to remove all the smaller dents, but the ones that had paint scraped off would obviously still have the paint scrape, which I could touch up on my own.

We scheduled repairs for another day. It took him a couple hours but he managed to fix almost all my dents! They look good to me, and it's much improved, especially the door handle one. That one was the priority. I do not care to have my car look like it's brand new (with a paint job); I just wanted the dents out and Rob definitely met my expectations. There was another one that was a pretty deep scratch more so than a dent that he pushed out as best he could and I appreciated his efforts. He accepts cash or Venmo.

I would definitely recommend Rob if you are looking for paintless dent repair that is affordable and done with skill and effort. He is very kind and will be honest about what he can do for your car. He was not 100% sure about the structure of the metal panel door handle unit of the Tesla so he checked with another professional before committing to fixing my car.

I put a little dent in my neighbors car and reached out to Rob. He was super responsive and came by the same day to give me a very fair quote. He was transparent about what to expect and didn't over promise.

Rob came by the next day and did an excellent job removing the dent. He also saw another little dent on the car (that I didn't do) and took care of it to make sure my neighbor was happy. That's going above and beyond- he under promised and over delivered.

Discovered a dent on my Subaru recently that was preventing me from installing my fog light cover, and after getting a little nervous about trying to fix it at home, I looked up body repair services on Yelp and came across The Grateful Dent (not going to lie, the punny name drew me in.) Rob's 2000s-looking website includes details on how to contact him, so I sent him a text with pictures of the dent; he replied saying he thought he could fix it, then we had a quick phone call to schedule the appointment. He is a mobile repair guy, so it was as simple as meeting him the day of outside my garage, and helping plug in his tools to the garage's outlet. He was done in less than 20 minutes, and you would never know the dent was there! He even put in the fog light cover for me, to make sure that was all fixed.

He did let me know that he couldn't fix abrasions (which I wasn't too concerned about) nor paint scraping (which I also wasn't concerned about. Feels like I need to include here that I am not a bad driver lol). The price felt very fair, I didn't get any quotes from other body repair spots but anecdotally it seems to have been a great deal. So pleasant to work with Rob, would recommend 100%!

I initially thought that replacing the entire bumper due to a few dents and scratches was overkill, so I opted for mobile dent repair instead. He responded promptly and even offered to inspect the damage in person to provide a more accurate quote. His quote ended up being the most reasonable and affordable of them all.

Rob was transparent about what he could and couldn't fix, and the results exceeded my expectations. He is personable, easy to communicate with, and delivered exceptional service. I highly recommend Rob and The Grateful Dent, and I won't hesitate to call him again if I encounter more dents or dings on my car.

I called and asked if they could help me with a bad scratch along the front drivers side panels. Picture attached. Rob called me back and scheduled a time to come by. He showed up right on time and couldn't have been more helpful. Showed me some great tricks and removed all the superficial paint residue. There are scratches left. But you can't buff the out. It was a fair price and I was grateful for the fix. It looks a LOT better. See. The pictures.

Texted pic & a vid to Rob after getting an annoying parking lot ding. He had best price and WAY less than collision shop painting the door and having to blend with driver's door. Met him on a Friday morning and job was done in under 2 hours. Thanks Rob!

Rob did a good job of fixing the dents in our BMW and Toyota. Happy with the communication and service. Will be using him again in the future if we have the displeasure of receiving more dings!

Although I may be a spectral manifestation that lives in a world of illusion, sometimes I descend into the world of material possessions, possessions which sometimes get damaged due to their fragile physical nature.

The Grateful Dent did a great job repairing a small but complicated ding in a precarious spot near the seam on the rear passenger door of my white Mercedes GLC 300. He was super friendly with easy communication and extremely helpful with suggestions on how to repair other cosmetic blemishes.

Can't speak highly enough of Rob. The dent in my Mini was in a very difficult spot to reach, and he took the time to figure out the best way to access and gain enough leverage to fix the issue. He's kind and polite and seems to really take pride in doing a great job. He did not rush at all -- just took the time to do the job right. Most impressed.
