The seafood appetizer was interesting.
I especially liked their duck. It was great

New owners have made great changes!
Phenomenal service, the crab cakes were beyond yummy, fish cooked to perfection and the colada
drink was delicious!
With the sliding door open it was a perfect spot to people watch!
I highly recommend this hidden gem!

The pictures of the food online are from the previous management, so the menu was entirely different than expected. The food and drinks were good, but pricey. Our initial waiter was extremely untrained, so another waiter had to take over. Overall experience was pleasant, but beware of the auto-gratuity.

Great atmosphere and personable owner! We were a group of 10, here for a dance festival. The owner allowed us to play our own music and dance in the restaurant. Great selection of food items. :)

The worst customer service I have ever experienced!

My husband and I were visiting my son and daughter in-law, who eat out frequently. We wanted to go out for a nice meal on New Year's Eve, so my son suggested The Hallway. After reviewing their special occasion menu on their website, which noted they could accommodate dietary requests, my son called to enquire about vegan and vegetarian options. After a short hold, my son understood her response to be yes to vegetarian substitutions, but they could not do vegan. He later called back and confirmed the reservation. Shortly after being seated, we inquired about drinks and told the server two of us wanted the vegetarian options. After she left with our drink order, the manager came over and told us they cannot accommodate vegetarians. My son politely explained he was told otherwise when he called. The manager, who was not the person he spoke to on the phone, flat-out insisted he was not told that (without checking with anyone). Because I have never been in a restaurant that could not find something vegetarian to serve, I asked if he was sure there wasn't anything they could prepare. He quite rudely said No, and that the menu was posted on their website. My son explained that we saw the menu and would not have made a reservation after calling and inquiring if we knew they did not have any vegetables to serve. He accused my son of lying and wasting their time. Not only did we see no resolution at this point, but we were also not comfortable staying and got up to leave. The manager then proceeds to tell us we still had to pay for our meals. We were absolutely shocked at this behaviour. As we left, I told him I would never return and he responded by saying, Good, you are not welcome back and I have your phone number.

My husband was as a chef for 30 years and never ever had he witnessed such poor customer treatment in a restaurant.....even in circumstances of unruly customers, which we were not. We did not raise our voices, remained calm and hoped to find a resolution. In my experience, a good manager would have simply apologized for the confusion (or misunderstanding) regardless of fault, and politely explain why they don't have vegetarian options.... but instead, at The Hallway we experienced hostility and rudeness. I felt bad for the servers, I'm sure they were extremely embarrassed by how he handled himself. To say we were absolutely shocked at his behaviour is an understatement! This is something you never forget.

Great atmosphere. Terrible overpriced food. The cracker was reminiscent of a horses toenail clipping. The worlds smallest ("dairy free") charcuterie board and 4 pieces of bread was 25$ (had to order separately, horse toenail clippings were included). Nice atmosphere but would really encourage a better menu or at least a lower cost. (For reference the charcuterie board had roughly 50 grams of 2 meats, a pate and maybe half a radish. Again, nice atmosphere, can't stress this enough but would really likely a better menu, or more applicable prices. Also again good environment but side note bad service.

I had dinner at The Hallway with a friend last night and everything was excellent; way beyond our expectation!! The olives are to die for as was the focaccia, the ling cod, and the lamb risotto. Then there's the Staff: the server, the bartender, and the Chef were friendly, fun, and truly expert at their jobs.
I heartily recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely loved the food and cocktails. My boyfriend and I came in from out of town and came across this place by accident. He ordered tjr fried chicken and I got something I can only describe as breakfast charcuterie. We shared and honestly it's the best fried chicken I've ever had. Further! They made every item in the charcuterie board in house, the spreads the breads the cheeses and meats are local. As for the cocktails, on the Cesar and The Italian Job. We're only in town for two days but we might go back tomorrow.

Incredible meal. Highly recommend the squid and the Raggu was incredible. Cocktails were delicious. There could be a larger dessert selection but they do make in house gelato which we regret we didn't try!
