Came here on a Friday evening and it wasn't very busy. I ordered the fettuccine with meatballs and the price was less than $20 which is really affordable for San Francisco pasta. I enjoyed having the option to customize my pasta and being able to chose the sauce.
The meatballs were super fresh and large. You get 2 meatballs as well as chunks of meat in the tomato sauce. It tasted really fresh and the meatballs were perfectly chewy. The pasta is also made fresh in house and was perfectly cooked. I would definitely come here again as the quality of the food definitely matched the price!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 8110299Aug 28, 20241 check-in
Headed over to dinner at around 6:30 on a Friday and the restaurant was pretty packed. We ordered at the cashier with a very friendly staff member and the menu was so cute with the different pasta shapes which helped us when we were choosing. We grabbed the last table available inside and the food came out 10 minutes after we ordered.
Tagliatelle with Meatballs - What stood out to me about this dish was the pasta and the meatballs. We saw them making the pasta fresh on the counter near the entrance and it really had the perfect chewiness. The meatballs were large, soft and full of flavor. The only small thing was the dish was a little oily and the other meat in the sauce was a little dry.
Everything was very well priced and it's fun how you can mix and match different pastas with sauces. A great place to try some fresh pastas and nice dishes if you're in the area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 237199374Aug 19, 2024
Got the pappardelle and bolognse sauce. +$17 for the plate. For the quality of food - total recommend.
The place is very nice and close to the park. I saw many locals in here eating and chatting away.
The staff is always hustling but they are friendly if you were to ask a question about their pasta or sauces. They take credit card so you're fine and you can chose to sit inside or outside.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jul 2, 2024
I came on a Sunday around 11:30 AM, and there was no wait. I ordered at the counter, and customers select the type of pasta and sauce separately, and each bowl is made to order. We were then given a number to be seated with, and the pasta came out in 5 minutes !
Pappardelle with Bolognese ($11 + $3.75)- 4/5 The pasta was fresh and had a nice chew to it. I thought the sauce was fresh and plenty of beef in it as well. The meal hit the spot for my pasta cravings, but I wasn't necessarily wowed by it However, I will be back to try their other pastas and sauces and would recommend others to do the same :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 23577131May 24, 2024
Popped in to The Italian Homemade Company on a Friday at 6pm. You order at the counter and then are handed a number and seat yourself. It was busy but we were able to grab a table. We ordered the Vegetarian Ravioli with Salsa Parmigiano and the Tagliatelle with Bolognese. It came up to $20 per person after tip.
The food came out in less than 10 minutes. The pasta was fresh and very flavourful! The portion for the Tagliatelle was okay but the Ravioli was on the smaller side for dinner.
As for the ambiance, there is an eclectic collection of tables and chairs and Italian posters on the wall. You can watch an employee making fresh pasta right when you walk in.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - amy T.Mill Valley, CA259823Aug 29, 2024
After walking by countless times, we walked in to try it. We were waiting for a table across the street at Perry's. We had a reservation and were just waiting and standing on the sidewalk. So went across the street and decided to order. I had the cacio e Pepe the special. The serving was really big so. Had left overs. It was amazing. It brought me back to Southern Italy. I would have liked to get some extra carbs with bread but it was just fine without. lol. I will definitely return! It's so fun also watching them make the pasta in the front.

Definitely a must go if you're craving authentic pasta! The place was homey and had plenty of seating. The high rating on this place is well deserved!
We were welcomed with a friendly cashier who gave us a run down to the menu and explained in detail what everything meant. We ordered three plates; rigatoni with pasticciata, pappardelle with salsa parmigiano, and pappardelle with classic marinara. All three dishes had different profiles but all tasted so good. The tartness of the red sauce and creaminess of the white sauces all went well with the fresh pasta. My new favorite pasta has to be pappardelle, the long sheets of pasta cling on to the sauce so well and give just the right about of chew. The portions and prices were fair and definitely an affordable filling meal.
Water is provided and you are free to seat yourself. If you needed a Togo box, it's also self serve which is nice to make it a quick in and out meal.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 10, 2024
I heard of this place through Tiktok and thought I'd give it a try. The Italian Homemade Company is known for make your own pasta plates, where you can customize your pasta and sauce.
Food: I ordered the Meat Ravioli with Salsa Parmigiana as my sauce. This was recommended by the kind man working the counter. In addition, I obviously requested the additional parmesan. My subtotal (without tax and tip) was $17. I thought the pasta was tender but nothing exception. The portion was small for the price.
Service: I really appreciated how the worker offered his opinion and didn't rush me as I had so many questions.
Ambiance: I came on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The place had only one to two other tables with customers. The outdoor seating has room for growth. I opted for the high table as I had a dog. It wasn't particular comfortable.
Was this a fun experience? Yup! Would I come back? Probably not.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jan 27, 2024
Fresh pasta was so delicious!
We got sage and butter. Simple and fresh. Savory and healthy.
Cassone (?) Stuffed sandwich was also great. The bread definitely had that home-made taste and texture. Can't compare to those highly processed or frozen ones. Very chewy. I got the vegetarian one with broccoli and mozzarella cheese.
Will come back again for another quick snack or lunch.Helpful 0Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0
