Ok so beer list is amazing. Service was also very good. I had the burger which I ordered medium and came out raw so I had to send it back (very rare for me). Waitress was very gracious and brought me an entire new burger which was nice, but overall burger was very underwhelming. But ambiance, service and drink choices made up for it. I will be back, but just won't be ordering he burger.

Went here with a group of coworkers for a team outing. We decided to go here because it was close to our office and everyone would be able to find something on the menu to eat. The ambiance of this place is amazing! Definitely gives "having fun vibes". Everyone was so happy and friendly.
We had a large party and we were seated in a timely manner. Our drink orders came out within 10 minutes and our food order was placed. We mostly ordered the burger and it was delish! I did ask for it to be well done and it was still red in the middle but that didnt take away from the taste. As a group, we were taken care of really well and never had to wait to long for help. We stayed over the 2 hrs because it was just a fun time and the atmosphere encouraged it.
Overall, it was a great time and I would go back.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 11, 20241 check-in
When Yelp! offers me mixed reviews, I try to give a place the benefit of the doubt, but my review is also decidedly mixed.
I got a reservation easily and was sat immediately. I came around 5:15 on a Saturday, so I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't think it was too dark inside. The music didn't start off too loud, but it did eventually get raised over time and became too noisy. My server was kinda reserved, but I think that was just her personality. She made sure I always had a fresh cocktail and that I didn't need anything. Someone I presumed to be the manager stopped by my table as well, and he was a nice guy.
I ordered the NY strip. Flavorless. Not a great cut of meat. Chewy in some parts, fatty in other parts. Super underwhelmed. Herb fries were crispy and tasted good though.
Looking at the list, I was excited to try the cocktail list. I had the "A Certain Shade of Green" with basil infused patron silver, cream of coconut, and fresh lime juice. It was ok. A little sweet for my taste, not quite "clean and refreshing" as described on the menu. I also had the "pardon me," made with Amaras verde mezcal, fresh cucumber, watermelon, lime, and agave. This drink was also okay. Hint of smokiness. And I closed out with the "nice to know you," made with basil Hayden, chinola passion fruit liquor, Campari, honey, and lime juice. Again, nothing amazing, but not bad either.
This spot serves shareables like calamari, crab cake, firecracker shrimp, nachos, sliders. They serve handhelds like burgers, mahi mahi tacos, buffalo chicken sandwich. The mains include carbon, branzino, roasted chicken, pork chops, short rib, and my "meh" NY strip. Couple basic salad selections too.
They have a short cocktail list and a beer list.
I wouldn't tell someone NOT to come here, but I am unlikely to go back myself.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - 6272251127May 29, 2024
Came here for brunch with a party of 6. They seated us in the basement and frankly, it was dark and dingey. The upstairs is much nicer and more comfortable. We luckily had a bartender/server downstairs who was great but otherwise the seating was off-putting.
The bottomless drinks were nice and kept coming, but I had higher hopes for the food. The dishes were really hit or misses, and the grilled chicken was probably the best thing on the menu. We thankfully ordered a caesar with it and that was definitely the best thing on the menu.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 1875543790Dec 21, 2023
We came here for lunch a few times and I enjoyed the food. The service was on point and the ambiance was great with a high ceiling and rustic touch.
FOOD:
Marco Nachos: we ordered this to share and it comes with salsa roja, black beans, pico de gallo, red onions, pickled jalapenos, cheese, sour cream & cilantro. The flavor combo was perfect.
Buttermilk Chicken Bites: the texture and flavor was perfect. It comes with cilantro aioli drizzle on top.
Calamari Diablo: i thought this was going to be one of those classic crispy fried calamari but it wasn't. Regardless it was delicious. It's spicy and the calamari was marinated to perfection. It comes with a side of grilled flatbreads.
Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich: the flavor was perfect and the chicken was tender. The only downside was that it's pretty big so it's a bit hard to grab without the help of the fork and knife.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - 149051869Nov 30, 2023
Came in on a Monday night for happy hour. Plenty of seats available at the time. Staffing is a bit sparse, but that could be due to the day.
The drinks are strong. One cocktail made me warm and a bit buzzed.
The happy hour menu is decent. They have quite a bit of options you can choose from. Buttermilk bites were good. The chicken is a little bit dry, but the aioli makes up for it. The mini nachos were a big portion, and very much worth the price. They don't skimp on the toppings. The parmesan herbed fries were okay, a bit overdone. The portion size was tiny too. It would be good for maybe 1 person. Not worth the price.
The inside is quite dark, so it was a little difficult to read the paper menus. The staff didn't really come by unless it was to take our orders or drop off food.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Oct 8, 2023
Stopped by The Malt House on a Sunday afternoon and had a nice brunch.
The Crab Cake Benedict was excellent and the Fried Chicken Waffle Club was very good.
Lively atmosphere with 80's music playing in the background and our server Giuliana was helpful and friendly though maybe stretched a little thin because it was busy.
Only drawback was that they didn't have a bartender working while we were there so we weren't able to have any of the drinks other than the ones on the brunch menu (need to return to have a Margarita flight!)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Dec 14, 2023
Great place to get together with some friends or for a happy hour. They have a good selection of drinks for happy hr. The catch me if you can was really good and the drinks were super strong, totally worth. The only thing to keep in mind is that it gets pretty crowded around happy hr time so it might be hard to sit by the bar. Also has an upstairs with a slightly bigger space if you want to make reservations for bigger parties. Definitely recommend for happy hour.

Frequenting this spot for happy hour is a joy. They offer an excellent array of both food and cocktails, making it the perfect conclusion to a workday. Due to its popularity, securing reservations is advisable. The service is consistently good, and the ambiance adds to the overall positive experience.

I came here for an event, and there were several things to like.
a. The ambience - very classy dark wood tones, great for a date or a more serious feel.
b. Cleanliness - everything was super clean - very impressed.
c. Location - it was right of a subway stop - definitely made life easy.
d. Service - amazing staff - bar none
e. Drinks/Cocktails - Very well made cocktails and had all the beers I wanted ton tap.
Why this place didn't get five stars:
- The food menu is boring
- They don't have any specialty cocktails (at least none were offered to me)
This place is great for:
- 1st dates
- Big groups
- The bros (who aren't to obssessed with sports)
- Tourists from England
This place is not so great for:
- Break ups
- Tourists from France
- 3rd dates
- Children

I reserved a bottomless brunch for 15 people and we were overcharged $120 by our waitress who added random items to our bill along with charging us for two additional bottomless packages. She had to "fix" and re-print our bill four times. Not to mention she had an attitude the entire time and hardly ever actually checked on us. We really only got 2-3 drinks per person before "time was up". Would not define that as bottomless. Food was decent minus the short rib burrito having hardly any short rib in it. The room we were in was great for the size of the party but in addition to all the other negatives I was highly disappointed overall.
