I came here around 1pm on a Saturday for a quick bite to eat. The two highlights of this stop were the cookies and cream milkshake and the fries. The shake was sweet and cold and pretty good. The fries were hot, salty, and cooked just right.

The burger looked a lot better than it tasted. It was extra greasy and cheesy but the meat wasn't seasoned at all so it kind of didn't really have a taste which was surprising. I'd return for the shake and fries and would try a melt next time.

Right at union square this place is road facing and easy to find. While not a simple as in-n-out menu, this expands to vegetarian/vegan and offers their burgers with chicken too.
I went with the standard melt and the bacon cheddar fries.
I ordered from the self order kiosk and after a short wait my buzzer lit up and I picked up a perfectly cooked juicy burger. The ingredients were fresh. The peppers were not hot at all. A max 2/10 hotness and just added taste and crispiness to the burger. The melt sauce added a nice tanginess to the flavor and it was the perfect amount of sauce to add to the burger without making it overly messy. The bun stayed together and the meat didn't break apart and slide out of the bun. A good solid, great tasting burger.
The fries were crispy and the bacon was not cooked like a bacon bit like most other places.. I was a chewy (not gooey) bacon that added texture to the crispiness of the fries. The ranch was ranch but enhanced the fries with the zest and slight tartness. I almost forgot about the burger because I started shoveling the fries in my mouth.
Great combo for my lunch time meal. Not heavy but satisfying.

The best kind of nostalgic fast food. Not quite four stars, but let's round up. Eating
Great fries. Add mushrooms to your sandwich. The strawberry lemonade is pretty good.

Great late night spot in San Francisco. The restaurant is really large with a ton of seating. The. Bbq cheeseburger and spicy chicken sandwich were so good and really hit the spot at 2am. The garlic Parmesan fries are a must try. I also tried the jalapeño Mac and cheese and it was delicious. The staff were super nice and even gave us a free shake for posting a review. I would highly recommend this spot.

From out of town, Just happened to be in walking by for lunch with some colleagues and figured why not?
Burger was very flavorful. A bit greasy for my liking but very tasty! Fries were the perfect consistency of soft and crunch! Tomato soup was a nice touch as well since it was a bit chilly outside. And to boot, it came with a delectable pickle! After placing my order and grabbing a pager I sat down and before I knew it my order was up! Definitely would recommend! I'll be looking g out for a "melt" in SoCal!

Easy accessible late night food that will satisfy your cravings! They're open until 3 am every day.

The entrees average about 12 dollars each and I find that the mac and cheeses are much more filling than the burgers/sandwiches and have a lot more flavor too. We ate in store and occasionally some disruptive customers would come in, but overall the store is quite clean with lots of seating.

Tip: you have to request for veggies on your burger (free of charge).

I stopped here for dinner one evening and ordered the Mac daddy (Mac n cheese grilled cheese with bacon), Parmesan truffle fries, and a lemonade. It was more expensive than I expected but not extremely so. The Mac n cheese itself was so so good. It was really creamy and just overall had a great flavor. The bread was also great, nice and crispy but not too much. My only issue with the sandwich was that it wasn't warm at all. I also ordered the truffle fries and they were a little crispier/harder than I usually like, but not terrible. The lemonade was in the cooler in the front and when I went to grab it there were several bugs on the lid. I showed it to them (and they took it quick so no picture!) but they gave me another from another cooler. It seemed fine. Overall it was a fine meal but I wouldn't rush back.

This review is on service only:

My son is dorming in SF. I hoped to treat him to a delicious burger since I'm all the way in LA. But unfortunately, the melt did not prepare what I ordered. I ordered the bacon bbq melt, instead he was delivered a jalapeno burger.
Though it looks okay, I cannot review the taste and quality since he can't eat jalapeños due to a food allergy.
A little disappointed in service, just be aware when ordering online.
