They can rename it whatever they want. It's always been called "Jersey Gardens" by almost everyone as well as myself and I will still call it that.

I've been coming to this mall ever since they opened back when I was little in '99. Back then the mall was completely different. Who remembers the days of Jeepers, Rainforest Cafe, Oshman's Sports, and the massive FYE that is now 1/4 of the size it once was? I sure do. Regardless, this mall keeps changing with the times and that's kind of what makes it refreshing and such a pleasure for me to come here every now and then. We always had to go to Newport to do our simple shopping until this mall came around. For the selection of stores and the 15 minute (max) drive from Bayonne, it is well worth not going to hell itself (Newport).

Yeah there might be a bit of the Newark/ Elizabeth crowd that can scare people away, but in recent years, the mall has become packed with European tourists who flew in from Newark Airport and hopped on the shuttle. EU'ers packing their suitcases with Converse sneakers, Victoria's Secret bras, and Abercrombie outlet bags. That's really not a bad thing, even though this place is mostly mobbed on the weekends. I personally love coming here Monday-Friday. For the most part, the mall is peaceful and easy to shop during those times.

I mentioned that this mall has changed with the times, and as I've grown up, I've never had a problem finding clothes or something else to suit me. In my teens, I freaked out when I heard they were opening Abercrombie and Hollister outlets. Now that I've grown up and I'm now entering my 20s, I really love the Gap and Banana Republic Factory Stores. There is a really small, but well stocked Uniqlo as well that's nice to have. There's really something for everyone here, that's what my point is. This includes the out of place, but nice to have Bed Bath & Beyond that now added a Harmon health and beauty department. The Forever 21 is also massive.

They recently renovated the mall and its pretty bittersweet. While I like the new stores and look of the mall, I do sometimes miss that jungle look it used to have. The one thing they really did wrong with the renovation was replacing comfortable seats with horrible ones. I guess being comfortable while waiting doesn't matter. However, the best thing they did was improve the selection in the food court. The old food court was so blah. Ranch 1 had horrible chicken, the other places were just meh, no variety. Although small, they updated the food selection and it has improved for the best. Having a Moe's is so awesome, switching out Ranch 1 for Popeye's was the best thing ever, and La Tapenade has awesome Mediterranean food and healthier options than the rest of the selection. Chili's isn't bad either. I completely just remembered there is an Applebee's too. The "anchor" store selection is alright. I just wish they would get rid of Cohoes or whatever and put a full sized Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store in, instead of the itsy bitsy one downstairs. A J. Crew Factory would also be nice. I did read that the mall will be getting an expansion, so maybe those two will come when that is finished. By then, there will probably be an ugly parking garage to suit as well.

The movie theater is pretty nice and has plenty of screens so that's another perk along with the really convenient Metro Mart. Think 7-Eleven, but in a mall. Anyway, what i'm trying to say here is although this place changes constantly, there's always something good to find or by at the mall's many stores. They can rename the mall all they want, but it's still Jersey Gardens, the mall that's better than Newport but not as expensive as Short Hills. WTF is "The Mills" supposed to mean anyway?

Biggest outlet mall (indoor too!) in NJ. Has the who's who of stores and you can kinda find deals there all the time. In recent years, I've had some luck at Vineyard Vines, so I was able to buy a bunch of stuff there.

Parking can be a bit annoying at times, but hopefully you're able to get a space closer to a mall entrance instead of a department store entrance. Having close access to the Turnpike is super clutch too.

Food options are your typical spots. Johnny Rockets is there, but I think they're only good overseas now.....

This mall doesn't do it for me.

Let's start with the food options - dismal. The best thing to eat is Johnny Rockets. Between Chili's, Applebees, and Nathan's.... It's not somewhere where I'd like to have lunch between shopping.

The stores are outlet ish, but it's not your typical outlet mall. It's all indoors, similar to a regular mall. But many stores are labeled as outlets.

There is a Pottery Barn outlet, which is a highlight if you're looking for home furnishings. Besides that, there are not really any upscale offerings.

Random, but part of the mall is carpeted? I've never seen that before.

There's many stores within the mall, you can make a loop on the top and bottom floor. Plenty of store to eat, drink and shop.

Beautiful mall close to the airport and with tons of parking. We had no idea what to expect when we stepped inside after work one day and were floored by how many stores were in here. Most malls I've been to in recent years have empty storefronts, but that is not the case here! There is literally something for everyone in this brightly lit, spacious mall. The only difficulty we had was finding the entrance we came in from when it was time to leave!

Decent mall with zero sales tax! Whaaat.

Sales at the stores were ok. Lots of big name clothing stores. There is a good court. For restaurants, there are an Applebee's or chili's.

      Mall itself was very clean.

Soo.. me and my friends are adventurous. One sat we woke up and decides to drive to the mills to shop and then to Brooklyn to hang out. Lol this place is nice. Nice size mall with the stores I wanted to check out. Didn't try the food court, but I'm sure it's typical mall food. Lol but if you up for a road trip , head on up there.

This outlet mall makes any mall in our state and that's including all outlet malls look like an abandoned shack on the side of the road. My entire Amazon wishlist plus The Disney Outlet is here. Learned from another reviewer that there's no sales tax. (What?!) If you fly into NJ and stay at the Embassy Suites by the airport, this mall is directly across the street. This mall has public transportation (Port Authority) to NYC (use the 115). This mall is two stories and has elevators, escalators and regular stairs. Check the doors for opening times. There are plenty of rest areas and charging place for phones. Bathrooms are many, close by and clean. Some of the parking spaces have QR codes for paid closer parking. There are taxis everywhere. Get a good pair of walking shoes, don't worry about paying for bags when you buy things and have a good time shopping.

Be careful when shopping at Snipes. I purchased an Adidas jumpsuit for $95 and went to the Adidas store and the same item was $46.97. The scanner picked up the jumpsuit that I had already purchased, and tried to charge me again. Had I been able to find the jumpsuit in the Adidas store I would have returned the full price item. It just shows that Snipes merchandise is not "new" releases. You have been warned...

      Full price item charge...
Same item at half the price!!

They have boba and GameStop but the cashiers at this store where being racist sort of at this bit store because I was black and we came I and there like white hisipnaix and they kept looking st us like we're gonna steal?? But when other non-black ppl came, they sid hi so heart warming welcoming and didn't even stare at them.

Overall, it's a bit confusing cause I wanted to go to GameStop but I couldn't even find it lol- Dunkin' Donuts is right down the corner and auntie Annie's is at the back exit upstairs ! (If y'all need help) I love this place I go here with my family:)
