We just stayed there in the large suite with a king bed in one room, two double beds in the other. We absolutely loved our stay and how the place looked like the pictures. We actually stayed an extra night because hadn't spent much time in the room. There were plenty of outlets, towels, and everything else we needed. It was clean and we had no issues with mold or mildew. There is a TV in each room, a fireplace, lights everywhere, wall outlets, outlets in the lamps and phones. There is a mini fridge and microwave. They also do a breakfast with eggs, delicious bacon, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, bagels, juices, milk. It is the only place I will stay from now on.

Reasonably priced, well-situated hotel near SFO. Ten-minute drive to the airport, plenty of places to eat nearby; some within walking distance. We really enjoyed the large family suite, plenty of room to play cards, large quiet rooms. The staff was exceptional, friendly and smiling. The free breakfast was very good (maybe a little more fruit?). Extremely clean...Really safe, all areas were only accessible with key cards.

July 2023 Stayed in the 2-bedroom executive suite, which was a corner unit in this place that looks like it was a motel in a previous lifetime.
      PRO:
The rooms have been renovated, bathroom was immaculate, fireplace below the TV, and despite being near SFO, the airplane noise was minimal. The shower has a hand shower head AND a waterfall head that comes from the ceiling. This is a hidden gem. Free breakfast included oatmeal, eggs, bacon, toast, pastries, yogurt, peach cups, and a Belgian waffle maker. There's a small rack of sundries in case you forgot your OTC meds/toiletries. There's Trader Joe's, Safeway and a bunch of eateries nearby but not really walking distance away.
      CON:
Walls were kind of thin so I could hear the people next to us. Airport shuttle is about $8/pp and only runs every 40 minutes.

Recently came here for a quick trip and it was a delightful stay. The location of the hotel is convenient. It's close to the highway and sfo airport. The room itself is not large. I got the double suite so they created a small living room space that has a neat fireplace that is Sheeka and modern. The hotel has free parking and free breakfast which is nice! You don't see that often in the bay. The breakfast is your standard hot and cold breakfast items nothing fancy. Even though you can access the rooms directly from the parking lot there is a secured hallway to the room that you need your hotel card for. I love that extra layer of safety. This a great choice if your in the sfo area.

      CHECKIN & SERVICE
The early/daytime staff is much more pleasant to interact with than the late/evening. Early checkin is possible for an additional fee but not guaranteed to be available.
Uncovered self service parking is offered for free.
      Housekeeping performed by request.
      Late checkout offered (1hr).
Checkin on Yelp for a free water!

      ROOMS
(Suite) Contemporary design with high quality furnishings-- not your typical hotel stock! Incredibly comfortable couches, great workspace + ergonomic chair, functional windows, hardwood floors, a fireplace, and a flood of natural light.
Very spacious for 2 with a homey feel.
      Great cleaning standards.
(guestroom) not as glamorous of course & is cramped for 2, but cleaning standards are good in the common area (warning: not so much in the bathroom).

      BED
Firm king mattress sleeps great in both configurations offered. The bedding was consistently clean, soft, and cozy.

      BATH
(Suite) Beautiful stone covering the entire bathroom, electronic vanity mirror, ceiling rainfall shower, & strong water pressure!
      Well maintained & thoroughly cleaned.
      3-piece showering set provided.
(Guest room) Cleaning standards were VERY inconsistent, misleading, & generally under par compared to our experience in the suite. Lots of rust & mold in the bathroom, with clean towels making direct contact with black mold.
Do a thorough check of your shower before settling in!

      TV & ENTERTAINMENT
Good entertainment accoutrements. 1-2 large flat screen LG TV s with satellite on fixed wall mounts.

      WI-Fi
The WiFi offering is generally really strong, but the experience isn't consistent in the guest rooms (weak coverage, frequent disconnects, etc). The corner rooms were also a (Verizon) dead zone.
      Nerd Stats:
      111-123 Mbps download
      45-84 Mbps upload
      0% packet loss
      25 ms latency
      22 ms latency
      Performance:
      Video streaming - GREAT
      Online gaming - GREAT
      Video chatting - good

      FOOD & DRINK
Not DoorDash friendly after the apps recent update (forced to walk to lobby for food pickups). Breakfast is offered & rooms are equipped with microwave & small mini fridges.

      NOISE
Through traffic & noise from the neighborhood(s) from the hotel can be quite loud. Walls aren't thin enough to make out full conversations, but noisy neighbors can be a problem.

      VERDICT
I wanted to rant & rave about this location after my first stay but a second one proved lots of duality here & a really inconsistent experience (I was hoping this would become my go-to hotel for flights out of SFO).
The suites are great but the guest rooms are painful for reasons other than size.
Customer service, cleaning standards, & WiFi infrastructure have large room for improvement.
I won't be returning but it's not a pad stay if the inconsistencies don't bother you
      2-3.5/5

For a motel... millwood has its mojo.
Clearly the photos show a classy place with fireplace and all.

But lack of hot water for 2 nights in a row is a real downer as I can't squeeze even a luke warm 5 minute shower. Cold shower just don't fit the bill for me.

Walls are super thin... as such you can feel each neighbor door close along with their personal discussions.

But heck the beds are comfy for a motel and is super clean. Now if only I can get a clean shower

The Stench of the MOLD was SO GROSS!!! Who can sleep with that smell?

Don't waste your money! Stay at the Westin instead, it does not smell like MOLD and Sewer!

Room seemed clean enough. I'm just not a fan of having the towel rack inside the shower, nor not having a soap dish. I also don't care for "community" soap dispensers in the shower. Also, how in the heck is the coffee/tea pot supposed to be plugged in? I guess there is not much that can be done about rude and stupid guest going to their rooms late at night.

Love the renovations. Room somewhat on the small side but we were there to experience the city so that wasn't a big deal. Bed was comfortable, bathroom nicely updated, and had a nice under tv fireplace. We were allowed early check in for an additional $25 which was reasonable given we were checking in about 4 hours early due to our flight. The reason for the low rating is the breakfast service. All the pastries offered were past expiration or molded. The juice which was similar to those distributed for school lunch was also out dated and had a film floating on top.
