      Food 5/5:

Came with a friend yesterday afternoon where usually no one comes and had some of the best pad thai I've eaten. I will always be looking forward to come back for more.

      Service 5/5:

All servers will be patient with you from my experience. When I went yesterday during the afternoon, I was greeted with a little bit of banter from the waitress and it was a pleasant experience.

      Ambience 5/5:

I usually always go during the downtime so the vibe is always very peaceful with the TV set at a low volume. Zero complaints with the noise level!

      Food was fresh and delicious
Service was great! Moon and Michael were excellent hosts.
Nice ambiance, dim lights, clean, decorative.

      Order:
      steamed rice
      Salt n pepper fish
      Masuman curry
      Garlic noodles
And a flat noodle dish I forgot the name.

Every dish I'd give 5 stars. Each dish was fresh and very flavorful. The fish was fresh and tasted wonderful. I appreciate that the food didn't have that rancid oil flavor. They definitely do things the right way here. I'm looking forward to coming back to try a few more things.

Was sad to see the original restaurant here go but I'm glad it was replaced with another Thai menu ANDDD happy hour bogo drinks!!!

Everything we ordered was very tasty -- gyoza and chicken wing appetizers came out steamin' hot with dips. Chicken fried rice was a huge portion, enough for two people or lots of leftovers! Yellow curry with pork was especially good, great consistency and flavor! Kee mao was a great spice level and you can never go wrong with noodles. The Kao Lao pork hot pot was the only downer of the evening, it was just ok.

Staff was veryyy friendly and allowed us to bring in a little cake for a birthday, and gave us a Thai tea float on the house as well! Lovely food and location, can't wait to come back!

Wow!! The food and service here was so good. My bf and I shared the angel wings, pad thai, and yellow curry with beef.

The interior of the restaurant was nice and clean. I forgot my servers name, it might have started with an M? She had brown hair and was soooo sweet. She continuously checked in on us. I asked if we could make the curry spicy and it seemed like the chef forgot. She personally brought me some chilis which was so appreciated!

The food here was humongous portions, we should have just stuck with 1 appetizer and 1 entree. The pad thai was some of the best I've ever had. I would definitely come back.

Stumbled upon this place cause I was craving soup and I saw they had dishes I wanted to get. After looking at the menu I couldn't help but to order pad see ew, larb, and of course a soup I've been wanting to try. Everything had so much flavor and I did not leave disappointed. There's so many places to go in alameda and I think this should be one of your go tos

It came to my attention that the owners of The Noodle Lover Club are also affiliated with the Vientian Cafe in Oakland, one of my faaaaavorite spots for Thai and Lao food, so I had to try their new business venture in Alameda. I placed a phone order and was told it would only take 15-minutes for my order to be ready. I ordered a medium spicy chicken Pad Thai no peanuts, and my husband ordered a spicy chicken Larb with a side of sticky rice. Arriving at the restaurant, I was pleased to see a warm and welcoming environment with plenty of greenery and a an overall cool and relaxed vibe. The interior was clean and spacious. The customer service was excellent. We picked up our order and off we went. The food was delicious and not too far off in terms of taste and quality compared to the food from Vientian Cafe. It was delicious, tasty and fresh tasting! My only comment is that my Pad Thai came with no spice, and I had requested medium spicy. But no worries--I just added the spice level I desired at home. I would definitely come back and try their dine-in service and other menu items. I'll for sure be ordering the Pad Thai again too--so good, noodles are made perfectly, lots of protein, and flavors are well balanced!

Came here about an hour before close on a Thursday and it was pretty empty (2 other tables). Our waitress seemed a little stressed because another staff member called in sick, but she was still in very good spirits.

We had a hard time understanding the menu - our waitress helped by pointing out that the bowls are more individual portions and the hot pots are very similar with larger portions to share.

My two favorite things that we ordered were the Creamy Seafood Bowl with Ramen noodles (waitress recommended glass noodles) and a peach sake slushy. The seafood bowl tasted like Tom Kha Soup with a bunch of vegetables and seafood in it - one being a massive prawn. The peach drink was a well done alcoholic slushy. Sweet, fruity, and dangerous.

We got another bowl, the Ma La, and I thought that was ok. The challenge with their menu is they're trying to incorporate flavors from so many parts of the world. Hard to pin down what I would change in this dish, but it's not quite capturing the flavor like a Szechuan restaurant.

I only had a bite of our friend's Roasted Duck and Crispy Pork Belly dish. Thought the duck with the ginger sauce was a little odd (not used to that pairing) and the pork belly piece I got was very tough and dry. The one thing going for it was the size - massive.

Solid spot for a warm, comforting bowl of soup. That being said, I'd like to see the menu get pared down a bit. I'm sure there are some gems in the mix, but the selection is just so massive, it's hard to figure out what is good and what the restaurant is trying to highlight.

Beautiful ambiance! Love the windows and decor!

The staff is friendly and very attentive & aware!

I loved the iced tea and my co-worker loved the hot tea. There are a lot of choices for lunch & dinner menus. I enjoyed the salad type of meal. The portions are big.

I recommend for a great lunch spot for sure, but I believe it would be just as great for dinner.

It was a cold night just right for a hot bowl of noodles. But few places were open so we decided to try this place. We entered pretty close to closing time so it was pretty empty. We actually thought they had closed
A lady greeted us and told us to have a seat anywhere. Awesome, open. We ordered wine and a couple of bowls of noodles. So good, so filling. Perfect for a chilly night.
We have friends who are way into pho and other noodle dishes. Personally, I believe if it tastes good, I'm going to eat it and come back for more. Looking forward to returning on a cold and rainy night.

Garlic prawns and dry noodles. It was excellent.

Fantastic find in Alameda! The food was amazing. The service was great. The ambience is comfortable and chill. So glad they had lunch specials. What a deal for $16. You get an appetizer, small salad and your entree. We all took home leftovers.

      We ordered:

Garlic Noodles with Pork - So flavorful and tasty. They ran out of roast pork so they subbed with regular pork.

Thai Fried Rice Chicken - Large portion of delicious fried rice. Decent amount of fried tofu for appetizer choice with yummy peanut sauce.

Pad Kemow Pork - if you like fat noodles, order this!

Crispy Pork Belly Dry Noodle - Thin egg noodles with lots of flavor! This was supposed to come with roast pork but I requested all Crispy Pork Belly and WHOA!! My mind was blown. Not greasy at all. And oh so crispy!!! I ordered the fried egg roll and it came with 2 and a bowl of broth.

      Thai Iced Tea - yummy

If you're in Alameda, definitely must go to this place. It's perfection!
