The One Auto Service and Performance

In January 2021, I took my car in to get its AC serviced because it wasn't very strong. The tech I was working with seemed knowledgable when he explained that the o-rings needed to be replaced, but after getting the car back, the AC was still weak and declined over the years until there was nothing.

I found out recently that one of the AC lines on the car was the completely wrong part, causing it not to seal and thus the refrigerant leaked over time. Before this, the one and only time I had the AC worked on was when I took it here.

All the reviews mention that this place is detail-oriented, but this was not my experience since the completely wrong part was put back onto the car. This place is not cheap, so I expected better quality, but I did not receive it.

Given the other stellar reviews of this place, I'm pretty sure what happened to me is a one-off exception rather than the norm, but I will not be taking any of my vehicles here nor recommending this place to anyone after my experience.

Had my VW Atlas brakes and rotors changed. Dealer was charging too much. Jin did a great job. I brought it in at 2:30 and he promised it would be done before they closed and it was.
Very honest and dependable.

Gin (mechanic) was super helpful and honest.

I came 30 mins before closing for a tire patch work. He took the nail out and checked all my tires. Gin told me the mail didn't puncture my tire so he didn't even charge me! I absolutely trust this place now.

The One Auto is mid-price but reasonable for their quality. I came for an oil change and got out within 30 mins. Making an appointment is recommended but walk in can also be fast when they are less busy.

Had an engine valve gasket replaced at this shop at 97000 miles on the car. Now its leaking badly after 43000 miles. Went to the shop，owner had a good explanation that gasket is just a plastic，it will get bad after a perid of time and sent me away. excellent business！Their service is not cheap. if are you expecting a good quilty service and last as long as it should be. Reconsider it again before go to this place.

I have been use The one auto since I moved to Daly City which in 2018. We got 4 cars and we all take it to Jin's shop for maintenance. Fair price, good service! Recommend! Oh, they done jobs quick!

Took my Audi S5 here for a simple oil change and install of a small aftermarket piece. They brought me in quickly and without problem. Though they took longer than expected, they installed my aftermarket brace on the house, as well as topped off the coolant and washer fluid. Service was great, but a star is taken away for its difficult access and a dingy waiting room.

Again, Jin and Matt are amazing. I had to bring my car in for it's regular 30K mile service and I was amazed at what an amazing job the two of them do. Compared to the dealership that wanted an arm and a leg, Jin & Matt were able to do the manufacturer recommended oil change, oil filter change, brake fluid change, engine air filter change, and cabin air filter change for a WAY more reasonable price than what the dealership wanted.

I really like how honest these guys are, especially when it comes to comparing what really needs to be done for regular maintenance versus what can be overcharged at a dealership.

If you like friendly and honest mechanics while doing your part to support local business, you have to come to these guys!

Took my Fiat 500 Turbo for inspection as well as for oil change. Jin and Matt were amazing and gave me a good service. They were flexible around the timeframe I needed and did the work in a timely fashion as well. Their shop is very clean and professional as well. Love these guys !!
