We had a great experience with the team at Original Rodent Proofers! Our house was not properly proofed previously, and they were able to do extensive work very efficiently to fix our rodent issues. Everything from the estimate/inspection to the follow-up examinations were professional as well

I pride myself in keeping our house free of pests. When I got wind of a rat in our garage, I trapped three of them on my own and didn't see any other traces of the varmints.

That being said, I called a few places to come take a look to help identify how they got in and shore up my defenses. Two places were upselling things and quoting me thousands of dollars even though the initial intrusion was dealt with. They sold a lot of fear and snake oil.

Mike was different. He was honest and candid about how small my actual problem was. He identified the problem areas and advised it's something I can take on myself for about a hundred dollars and some elbow grease. He did a thorough walk around and even pointed out a few preventative measures I could do.

He advised I don't spend money with him quite yet and try some DIY solutions first.

In the end, I didn't have to use his service or any of the others cause he was spot on. He didn't make a dime from me but his honesty made me a customer for life. Anytime I have an issue, The Original Rodent Proofers is who I'll call. They should be who you call too.

It's been a bit since Original Rodent Proofers originally sealed our home. What I can say is that their work has held the test of time for many years. However, circumstances beyond their control have also illustrated how much they truly backed up their work. A few years back, we had some new intrusion by some woodpeckers that were continually pecking at our upstairs rafters to the point that they entered the home. I called, and they quickly resealed everything. Problem solved.

More recently, we could hear and see that there was new rodent activity. Despite being well beyond their 5 year warranty period, They sent Thomas out to our home assuming it must be a simple fix given the extensive work they had done prior. It was amazing how thorough Thomas was in checking the house from top to bottom and below, then making adjustments to new potential new areas where they might enter. But then notably, as he inspected under our home, he noticed how some roots from a large old tree had cracked the cement barrier they had installed under our home years earlier. This had created a new opening that rodents were now using to enter below our home.

Thomas sealed this up with a new patch of cement as well as to provide extensive clean up to the trails left by our new unwanted house guests. As well, he thoughtfully described all of what he did as well as to note what to keep an eye on going forward. It is amazing how well these guys know their trade and how quickly they can both diagnose points of entry and make needed repairs.

Now, there is not way that ORP could or should cover the effects that a mature tree on my property and how root expansion below my home could damage their work so far past the initial project. As I said, we were well beyond their warranty period. That said, when I called Brandon (ORP owner) to see what I owed him, he said not to sweat it, that they would back the work. I am not someone who wants something for free, and felt as though I needed to cover their costs. Thomas did an amazing job and I know, value and appreciate the work and peace of mind that they provide. However, Brandon insisted.

That said, it is worth updating my thoughts on the company. They not only do amazing work, but they stand by it and come through with a fix when you need it most. I can't recommend them enough!

Reached out of Original Rodent Proofers when we discovered a rat infestation in our crawl space. We had a different company proof our home the year prior that was not sufficiently done which resulted in another issue several months later. Brandon and his team came in and walked us thoroughly through the issue, how to mitigate and how they will ensure the problem is completely remediated.

The clean up and proofing work took several guys and took the better part of the day. They were thorough and completed the work with high quality.

The trapping process has also been thorough as they have continued to come every ~5 days as we trap rats that got caught behind. We're at the point we think we've totally taken care of the problem- yay- and the proofing should be such that no more rats will be able to come in!!

I am very particular to make sure we do not have an issue again as the clean up and proofing work is never cheap; they have been great to work with and I am confident in their work, follow through and honesty. We also worked with Brandon to have our HVAC air ducts cleaned out and chewed one replaced.

The pricing was reasonable and Brandon and team are great to work with! It's very important to move forward with a reputable, reliable company otherwise you'll be doing the same work again when the rodents come back! ;) I would recommend Original Rodent Proofers!

I had Mike Robinson come out for an estimate today. He is very informative and knowledgeable. He didn't attempt to upsell, or sugar coat any issues that he saw in my home. Very professional. I would highly recommend this company!

Came quickly and gave a very reasonable estimate. The work was done in a day and they came back to ensure the job was done and there were no critters left behind.

Our work was more preventative as we just had a few mice in the garage but it's such a nice piece of mind knowing we are safe for years to come. Would highly recommend!

The crew came to proof the house last week and I was very impressed on how thorough they were, even as the afternoon turned to evening.
I asked if the cement patches in the front of the house could be painted white (it was a dark gray) and they actually went and painted it right there and then.
The price felt pretty reasonable too, esp. after asking a few other companies.

From the beginning they were different from all the other companies I brought in to estimate. Mike looked all around the house, spent the time to do a thorough review and explained in detail what needed to be done. The workers came a few days later and were polite and efficient. The rat slab is the way to go. Excellent work from an excellent company. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing to rodent proof their home!

We requested for rodent proofing inspection as we saw some mice in our house and were really pleased by the timely response and the team's knowledge and experience in this field. We got a reasonable estimate for rodent proofing and air ducts cleaning, much better than some of the other vendors we had requested and the service was scheduled in a timely fashion. Once proofing was done, the team made sure to come for routine checks to see if mice that were already inside the house were caught and after 3 visits we haven't seen any mice in the house. Overall very happy with the service as we haven't seen any mice so far (been 3 weeks). Highly recommend this business!

A fabulous company! I received a reference to this company from a friend who used them. They are indeed a top-notch company. Mike came out and made a throw inspection of my place and we found many places were rats were getting in. The good thing about this company, and is something you should consider before choosing others, is that they have a warranty with their work. They do not expect to ever come out again once they rat proof because they do such a good job. Other companies fill the space with foam, and although it's a tiny bit cheaper to put that up it doesn't last so you end up with more expense in the long run having to redo it. His estimate was incredibly reasonable, considering all the hard work he's going to have to do to make it right. The office staff is exemplary, and I can't say enough nice things about them. Thank you to my friend for recommending them. I am relieved :-)
