Came for lunch on Memorial Day after getting a massage at the spa and had a great meal here! Bison burger and fries and crispy Brussels sprouts were both really good. Would return for dinner!

Dan Churchill is one of the best chefs and personalities around, so when I heard he had teamed up with The Osprey, we had to try the brunch!

The location in side the One Hotel is absolutely stunning. The Bison Burger was absolutely incredible. Don't sleep on the shoestring fries with chicken seasoning - just amazing. Other dishes were well received and the drinks were fabulous.

      Can't wait to go back.

      It was alright.
(+) Located inside a 5 star hotel. The hotel lobby was especially nice with plenty of seating and a pleasant smell
(+) The food was alright, the grilled broccolini was my favorite. The chicken was delicious. Other than that, nothing really stood out.
(-) The bathroom was located downstairs in the basement, outside the hotel. If you have children, it can be quite annoying.
(-) Bringing a cake will cost you $45 to serve.
(-) We were seated near their kitchen, the seats weren't very comfortable. The wooden chairs and long tables made me feel like I was at a picnic.

Brunch service on a Sunday was amazing. Service was prompt and servers were attentive.

The falafel breakfast bowl was delicious and you have to get the fries appetizer.

The drinks were delicious. Prices are comparable for NYC prices.

This place had some cool vibes, loved the decor and as soon as you walk inside they have amazing views out the windows. There's seating outside as well. We made a reservation & they are strongly encouraged to get you a seat. There is a hotel above so most come here to enjoy a nice breakfast or dinner. The service was great. The food was good but nothing that wowed me honestly.. we shared The Osprey Breakfast & Aussie Banana bread. The bacon was Extra Extra Crispy and a bit cold. The eggs were good and the potatoes were pretty good. The Aussie bread was pretty delicious with the Coffee. The place is a bit upscale as far as food and I get it but maybe their dinner selection is a bit better.

The Osprey is a lovely venue for dinner! I came with a large group (with reservation) and had a family style dinner with a pre-fixed menu.

To start, the Osprey is part of a hotel, which is really beautifully decorated with a special ambience. The lights in the restaurant are very cute and the hotel/restaurant has real plants hanging from the ceiling and walls. There's also a lilac-y perfume smell to the hotel and restaurant, which I really enjoyed (though may not be good for those overly sensitive to scents). Their main dining room also has a lovely waterfront view of Manhattan. The music was a bit too loud, though, to have a conversation with someone comfortably across the table.

In terms of the family-style dishes, I was able to try:

Focaccia 5/5: this is made fresh in their kitchens! And it's made special for each day depending on what they want to flavor and adorn it with.

Halibut 2/5: I didn't love the halibut itself (a bit flakey, dry, somewhat flavorless) but the crispy potatoes were layered and awesome.

Pumpkin lasagnetti 4/5: The noodles were very thin and chewy and flavorful. I normally don't order pumpkin dishes, but I thought this was great!

Mushroom polenta 5/5: I never enjoyed polenta but had the chance to try it here because it was family style. I was really impressed!! It was incredibly flavorful and not grainy like the way I've had it at other places. The best (surprising part) was the generous portions of mushroom in the polenta, which was so flavorful and succulent.

The service was a bit slow, but understandable given the large group to se
Overall, I thought the food and ambience at the Osprey were superb. I would come again for a special occasion!

Outstanding restaurant! Beautiful interior, fabulous service, and with Dan Churchill an incredible chef at the helm. The food is modern, perfectly balanced and absolutely delicious. The halibut is the best take on humble fish & chips I've ever had, and the TimTam dessert made me nostalgic of my time living in OZ. And as an avid viewer of MasterChef Australia, I can't be more happy to have one of their best graduates right at our door step here in Brooklyn!

We visited for our wedding anniversary and they are one of the few places we visited that day that made the occasion special. They had oysters and champagne on the happy hour menu and their Fries are worth the trip. The service was top tier, the staff was friendly and the perfect amount of personal. The vibe is dignified, elegant but still relaxed. It's a plant lovers paradise and blends with the bite it's in.
      Scallops cooked to perfection.
