Just went to the bar for some drinks and listen to some live music. Had 3 different whiskey drinks. Bartender, wish I remembered his name, nice dude, recommended the Winters Calling. Love it. Then had a Whiskey Sour and finally The Grand Desire. Nothing came close to that Winters Calling though. Very unique drink.

Also got to sit and listen to some of the most angelic voices I've heard in a long time. It was a nice, chill place where I could escape for a bit. Definite highlight on my trip from Seattle.

      Must try.

The customer service was incredible. Kevin went out of his way to make us feel welcome like locals.

Stayed at the hotel and loved coming to the lounge for drinks. Very friendly staff and made excellent drinks. Great atmosphere, loved the oversized chairs to sit in, and they have music on Friday and Saturday nights which is fun.

The Pacific Lounge is a great place to meet friends and coworkers near the heart of Victoria. The lounge is replete with tons of cozy loungers and is illuminated as such that u may carry on discrete conversations while enjoying a beer or single malt.

Despite the convenience of this being primarily a hotel bar, I would recommend this for locals seeking a waypoint as they make their way to the abundant local culture - be it the parliament building, bay, or BC museum.

This has to be one of the best bars and customer service we've experienced in a long time! See Patrick, Kevin and Corey for the best drink, service, and attention you've longed for. We love many things about Victoria, but plan to always stay at the Grand Hotel Pacific and be treated by the wonderful staff at the Pacific Lounge.

After a very long day we found ourselves in the lounge in search of food and drink. Honestly, if it hadn't been so late and we weren't so hungry and tired, we would have bypassed this hotel bar and went looking for something else. By the end of our visit, we were pleasantly surprised at the experience. We arrived after 9 on a Saturday night. We snagged the only two remaining seats at the bar and settled in. We ended up ordering from the restaurant menu. Our two entries were quite different from each other. One was the falafel which was served on a bed of greens with some interesting accompanying bits of grains, pickled veggies, and sauces. The second was the sable fish. Both were outstanding. As great as the food was, it was a bit pricey. For example, the falafel plate was $25. When I initially saw this price on the menu, I admit this intrigued me. Surely, a $25 plate of falafel must be AMAZING. While, the dish was great, I can't say it was $25 worth of greatness. I believe there was a lounge menu with more reasonably priced options. Regardless of the price gripe, the food and ambience hit the spot.
