The Plant People

I cannot thank the Plant People enough. Honestly, I am the farthest from having a green thumb - but this company never made me feel judged or less than for not having any knowledge. I asked Melissa recommendations on what to do with existing plants (that needed love) and potential future plants....not only did she go out of her way to ask me to send photos to make our conversation productive, she ALSO went out of her way to give extra tips on how to nurture plants (from watering, sunlight, positioning, naming the plants).

It's the fact she took extra time to explain to me the logic of each things, that made me feel I learned something, rather than just answering my questions or providing a basic service. You can really tell Melissa & her team care about plants, but most notably, are really happy to impart knowledge so that plants can make a better home.

We have a plant that has been part of our family for 10 years. A few months ago she started losing leaves, turning color, drooping. I've been calling a million places, no one got back to me. Melissa called me back. I sent her pictures. Dhe gave me all sorts of great advice. I ended up sending pictures of my other plants, explaining some problems. She guided me through on how to prune which I have always been terrified of doing. Made some suggestions on what to put in the plants. Turned out I was over watering them. Melissa was so sensitive and sweet and unbelievably knowledgeable! I could not recommend her more.

The Plant People used to bless our office with wonderful greenery. From an employee experiencing it, all the plants looked taken care of and I absolutely loved seeing new additions to our office.

We recently had an office team-building event making Kokedama and it was great! The materials were shipped to our homes and the setup was easy. During the actual event, the host was super nice and made the experience easy, chill, and fun. Highly recommended to any companies looking for an activity for their teams. :)

Melissa hosted a virtual workshop for my workplace, and it was so incredibly fun! All of the supplies we'd need to make a Kokedama were mailed to us, and she walked us through step-by-step how to set it up. She was so knowledgeable about the processes and answered any questioned we had. Highly recommend!

Melissa did an excellent job planning, instructing, and supplying all the materials for the Kokedama Workshop at our building. Our building hosted three separate sessions where Melissa guided us through the process of putting together the plants. She was patient, knowledgeable, and easy to follow on camera. I received only positive feedback from our participants and the plants we made turned out very nicely. Thank you!

Mellisa is the best! She came to our company happy hour and set up an entire arrangement for terrarium building! I went for a beach vibe in mine, others kept it simple and did all black or white. The different pieces she brought allowed everyone to be super creative!

Needed plants for my office on the double for a marketing film shoot and only had $800 budget. Melissa was amazingly helpful and went out of her way to make sure I had my plants on time and at budget. What more could a customer ask for. Oh and this was a one time purchase rather than an ongoing office plant service; I was treated no differently and because of this so will definitely return when we're ready for the full plant service treatment. Thank you The Plant People for making our office green and you have one more happy customer on the books.

I had an excellent experience taking part in a workshop put on by the Plant people. All of the materials for the activity arrived by mail in advance, carefully labelled and thoughtfully packaged. The project itself was incredibly fun and the instructions were well explained. I was delighted with the end result and highly recommend Melissa if you are planning a plant themed workshop.

When I told that I need to find a plant rental company, I got consultations from 4 different businesses to see all of my options. The Plant People by far had the best quality of plants for the lowest cost. I worked with Melissa, who was extremely accommodating with contract changes and who is overall very easy to work with. She is very creative and helped me figure out the best layout for the plants and provided gorgeous planters for them. I strongly recommend her and The Plant People!
