Had a great lunch here. The owner was so nice and funny. They had the best espresso martinis and a delicious Caesar! Burgers were delicious, charcuterie sandwich was awesome! The vibes were also cool with a lot of art for sale with rotating local artists.

I love the cozy ambiance of this charming restaurant. Divided into two dining rooms, two lounges, a bar, and two patios, there's an ideal spot for everyone. Reservations are available on Tock for each separate area.
The cocktail list and wine menu are both extensive. I loved all the cocktails we tried; my favorites were the espresso-based ones. There's something magical about a tiki drink with espresso, but the one with Licor 43 is even better.
We started with the Aint No Thang spicy chicken wings, which had a delicious sweet heat, especially if you got one of the red chili slices. The cheese plate was also delicious, and the accompanying sourdough toast was delightfully charred.
Entree standouts were the curry mussels and the Caesar salad (ask them to chop it up in the kitchen if you don't want a whole head of iceberg).
Service was friendly and attentive. Note that it does take a while for cocktails to be prepared, as they are done individually by a single bartender, so plan ahead.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 14, 2024
Stopped by for a cocktail before we went on for dinner. Super cool little independents spot which a funky cool interior. That said it was a lovely evening so we opted to sit outside in the balcony.
We ordered a couple of cocktails each including a Pisco Sour, Mezcal Margarita, Jungke Vird and a Mai Tao. All were very well balanced and. super crushable!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mike M.Fort Collins, CO0245May 23, 2024
A spectacular find in Vancouver. Just what I was looking for with excellent service, and a perfectly executed burger and fries. Simple food executed to perfection. Maybe the best fries ever. It shouldn't be that hard to serve fries, but this place elevated it.
The bartender knows how to mix delightful cocktails.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jul 9, 2024Updated review
Went to Red Accordion with a group of friends, and let me tell you, it was a culinary concert! We started with the chicken wings, which were so flavorful they could have their own fan club. The chicken sandwich was a hit, juicy and perfectly seasoned. The hamburger? Delicious enough to make you question all other burgers. And the salads? Fresh, vibrant, and a perfect counterpoint to the meaty main acts. The service was excellent and all of their condiments from ketchup, to mayonnaise, is all made fresh and in house. If you're looking for a place that hits all the right notes, Red Accordion is your jam!

It's fully a place that needs to be seen to understand. It's completely unlike the neighborhood in which it sits.
Build inside a repurposed home, it has two floors. The top floor is dim lighting, funky decor, and couches/old school cushioned seats with low tables. It's like relaxing in a friend's home.
That said, the food is very elevated which makes this place very special. The burger was gigantic, with delicious applewood smoked everything. The arugula is a great add as it gives a freshness to the otherwise decadent burger.
This is a must-see type spot. Perfect for a date night or some cocktails with friends. Unwind and enjoy.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jun 10, 2024
It is overwhelmingly easy to find good food in Vancouver, especially when you're not from around this area. We always trust Yelp to send us to the right places, but when hunting for a dinner spot we could barely narrow it down because there were so many. We ended up choosing The Red Accordian because they had ample seating for our group of 7, and because the parking situation was simple. We enjoyed the smoked castlevetrano olives, red accordion burger, mushroom flatbread with steak, and tuna nicoise. Everything was spectacular, with huge servings. We could easily have split each dish. Service was very good, and the server was patient with us as we struggled over what to order!

I stopped by the Red Accordion for lunch around 1 pm on a rainy Tuesday after being stuck in traffic for an hour during a 4-hour trip from Seattle. Eager to visit a farm-to-table restaurant during my short Vancouver trip, I felt instantly validated by my choice upon entering the cozy and charming space.
The warm welcome I received from Jamie, who I initially thought was the bartender but later discovered was one of the co-owners, made me feel like a regular. I appreciated his attentiveness in taking my food order and checking on me throughout my meal while also giving me the space I needed to unwind and truly enjoy the food.
"Delightful" is an understatement for the culinary experience at the Red Accordion. Everything was incredibly fresh and flavorful, reflecting the chefs' care in creating innovative and satisfying dishes without a hint of pretentiousness. The meal left me feeling nourished and revitalized, and my only regret is not having a companion to share more of the menu with!
I ordered three dishes, which ended up providing me with two meals, as leftovers made for a savory and delicious breakfast the next day. Whether you're a local or just passing through Vancouver, I highly recommend the Red Accordion for an unforgettable dining experience that won't disappoint.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 27, 2024
We came here for brunch and sat at a bar then got moved to a table. The bartender was friendly and chill, and the waitress was so nice as well.
Food was excellent! We loved the salad, claw lobster benny on fried dough (that fried dough was so good), and the chicken wings. The latte was also very good. The restaurant is inside a heritage house, so the atmosphere is very different from other restaurants. It feels like you've been transported back to the Victorian era with its elegant and antiquey decor.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
