The Remo Group

Remo and his team did an outstanding job installing a Starlink system at our home. He was impressive in the preparation, installation, and follow-up of our very complex project. First, he spent 4+ hours analyzing the specific internet needs throughout 6 rooms in our home and preparing a plan to install a first rate system. Remo was especially thoughtful and creative in planning to use existing wired connections or pathways and to discard unnecessary cables and electrical equipment to unclutter our home. On the installation day, his team was very professional and knowledgable in placing 4 routers strategically though out our home. Especially appreciated was how he replaced a confusing maze of tangled wires in the central control box with a clearly organized larger box. Finally, Romo followed up his Starlink installation by coming a third time to our home to confirm that his Starlink installation was working correctly and to offer solutions to fix a separate TV streaming app issue. Throughout our project with Remo, we were continually impressed by how promptly he responds to phone calls and texts. He is detailed, organized, and professional. We are glad to support a small business like his where the customer deals directly with the service provider instead of a business model that has a multi-layered bureaucracy of sales people, an off-site foreman, and the actual workers on the job site too disconnected from the former two levels.

The rooftop TV antenna I had installed several years ago (by another company) at my house recently failed in a rather spectacular fashion when the metal in the tripod corroded all the way through. I found the Remo group on Yelp and gave them a call. Remo answered my call and asked me a few questions to understand what was going on. While my intention was just to replace the broken part, Remo asked how my channel reception was, and I explained that it wasn't always great. He advised that I buy a particular Televes DiNova antenna available on Amazon that was likely to work in my case, which his technician could install. I thought this was thoughtful of him because it meant he wasn't trying to sell me something himself with a markup.

He explained that his technician could come out with a couple mounting options in the truck so that he could make a decision on the spot as to the most effective and least ugly installation. I'm glad he did because we wound up going with a much smaller post than what we had before.

Cost for my area (SF near 280) was $200 per hour plus parts, and the technician worked efficiently to do the job.

I asked for a quote for antenna installation. After discussing the work I was given a price quote for hourly service. Then I asked their time estimate and received a very rude response. Not recommended.

Because of planned renovation work on my home, I needed to move where the ethernet lines for a pair of CBRS (Helium) radios come into the house. Technicians for the Remo Group installed the radios and wiring a couple years ago. I contacted them about doing the relocation. I got a response to my request within a day and a technician came out a couple days later. After explaining what I needed, the technician went about the work in an organized and professional manner. The total time was somewhat less than the original estimate and I was billed only for the time spent. Great job. I highly recommend them.

I called The Reme Group to install an antenna on my roof and to splice in to my existing coax system. Armando was professional and courteous, thorough and knowledgeable. He made sure I was happy with the work he did, and I was impressed with his attention to detail. He rewired a questionable interconnect the previous installer did, and split the antenna signal to all my rooms. I couldn't be more pleased!

My Starlink dish died and Tesla sent a replacement dish but they didn't include an installer (I KNOW!!). I contacted a handful of providers and Remo was the only one who actually wanted to help. And he did.

We scheduled 3 days out and he called the day of service to tell me he would be early.

An hour later and the old dish was down, new dish was up, leaving a happy camper.

Cannot say enough good things!

I am so happy to be rid of "line of sight" internet. I live in the country and really like having reliable internet. Remo set everything up and Armando came out to the property, on time, and successfully installed our new system. The difference is amazing. We went with a satellite dish. I got a bid from Xfinity that was $30,000, satellite purchased (larger satellite) and installed --$4,000 and lower level business from Starlink is $140 per month. I am so happy I saw The Remo Group on Yelp.

I spoke with Remo over the phone about getting home Internet service. After a long conversation we determined that, due to a variety of factors, he could not help me. However he was very engaging and a wealth of information and I now understand why my options are so limited at my address. Great customer service.

Remo and Team were exceptional, responsive, and eager to make recommendations to our needs. We just bought a home in Woodside with no wired connection to the house. He and team installed a Starlink satellite connection 150 feet up on the top of a redwood tree with ease. Thank you Remo!!!

Contacted this group about an issue with Starlink hardware after a storm. The questions I couldn't get answers to anywhere else were answered and when the call dropped, he called me back to make sure I got the information I needed.
