We're not local here and came for a food excursion. We love all the dishes we ordered. The best part were the sauce, different kind of sauce for each of the fish we had. Looking forward to coming back to try other dishes.

Close to the airport. Easy parking. Five star food. Friendly advice from the owner when ordering. Try the local oysters! Conch snails are in a delicious broth.

We met Lily co-owner of Shellfish Shack who with her husband the chef has created a delicious Chinese seafood restaurant. Lily was the sweetest, most accommodating person I've ever met. There are a few tables inside but we chose to eat out on the sidewalk where they have two tables.
We had exceptional halibut in black bean sauce and veg lo mein. Loved it so much we went back our last night in town, even though it was 1/2 hr from downtown. If you're craving spicy clams or an abundant menu of seafood dishes, don't miss this place.

Food is a tad on the pricier side and service can be slow depending on how busy it is. But given that I can't cook Chinese style seafood, I would gladly pay to eat here.

Was in town for a few days and found this little gem. We got there 30 minutes before they opened and they allowed us in. Food was delicious and service was great. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for some seafood to hit the spot.

I should have known when there aren't any prices on the menu that I should not succumb to sticker shock when I received the bill. True, I was expecting the worst but even then I was sticker shocked. One beer, one bowl of rice and 3 dishes set the 2 of us back a hundred and fifty bucks.

The food was pretty good, the $48 small dish of cockles was excellent and presented without that gob of mud you usually find in the corner of the shell. Frankly it's understandable that they need to charge that much when what they serve you can't be found at any price locally. Short of getting on a plane and flying back to South East Asia you'll never find these items on any local menu.

What I'm afraid of is that their prices won't allow them to be too successful because once in a long while I do get the urge for their specialities and they're the only game in town and I'd rather have them around than not have any choice at all.

Service was great but I sure wish they could serve you your hot rice in a proper bowl instead of a flimsy take out plastic tub.

Was craving some seafood for dinner and came across this place. There's only two tables to dine in and we got super lucky we were able to dine in on a Saturday night since I'm not from the area. Everything was spectacular! The service and the food was great. We got the local oysters, crawfish, and the creamy uni pasta. The crawfish had a tongue numbing spice that I wasn't expecting but I really like. The oysters were fresh and the uni pasta had great flavors. Would definitely come back again and try the other stuff on the menu when I'm in the area!

We called and got a table today at the shellfish shack. What an excellent choice we made! The store is located on the backside of where google map showed. Google map showed us a peach or cherry restaurant. But the shellfish shack is actually facing Alderbridge at the back of the Venezia mall. We walked passed a back alley by a Bobos massage, and there it is we were greeted warmly. There was another table seemly having a blast of seafood. We ordered seafood paella, seafood pasta and their signature periwinkle. The periwinkle was surprisingly tasty. We were never a fan of snails but this was lean and crunchy with spice to it so it was great! We will definitely come back. Btw this meal including tips was less than $80 for 2.

Excellent service we had here. I was surprised the restaurant was so tiny but I suppose that makes it a more intimate experience. It was just us at the restaurant and so the owner was extremely attentive. It was wifey's birthday so we decided to splurge on the seafood tower. Wow I've never had so fresh of seafood before, especially the dungeoness crab. Usually at the Chinese restaurants they overcook the crabs so the meat becomes too dry. Not here. It was cooked to just the right doneness. I love that this place is so different than your typical Chinese seafood restaurant.
