The Silver Lining

We checked out this cute little piano bar while pregaming before dinner and a concert last night! We walked in and were immediately greeted by the bartender on duty, William.

We ordered The Die Hard Old Fashioned, Anchor + Tree Carajillo and a few beers. I love a good espresso martini and the Carajillo was better than any I've had. It was made with tequila instead of vodka and it was so smooth and it's even made with the coffee from their business neighbor! I could have had 4 of these - they were that good!

We didn't try any of their food, but the menu looked and sounded delicious - especially their hot dog!

They have live music and a band was setting up when we were leaving! It seems like a pretty busy spot and I'm glad we stopped in to check them out.

I'll definitely be in again for that Carajillo!

I had the pleasure of experiencing the magic of two incredibly talented pianists at this piano bar. Their skill and musicality were unmatched, creating a delightful and entertaining atmosphere. I loved hearing and seeing the incredible performance of Lindsay Everly.

The dueling pianos added a fun and interactive element to the evening, making it a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for top-notch live music and a great time!

The mai tai was delicious. Strong enough but tasty. The ombiance is nicely renovated, feels fresh. It is an elegant cocktail bar with not many food options but they said they have a bottomless mimosa brunch on Sundays which I am excited to try out in the future.

What a fun find!! We got downtown early for a dinner reservation and were looking for someplace cool to hang for a while! A young person saw us looking lost and asked if we needed help (he works at the Senate and was very proud of that , as he should be! Anyhoo, he literally led us up the street to The Silver Lining. We were greeted warmly by William, the bartender and an owner. He made us the margarita and the jungle something.... Both were so tasty! Not too sweet and cold! We will def being going back for drinks and music!

If you love being surrounded by talented musicians and singers, this is the place for you. This bar offers live performances, karaoke, and dueling piano. Yes, that is right DUELING PIANO. Like most dueling pianists, these talented piano players and singers know thousands of songs they can play in just an instant. Great people and great vibes. The owner's love for music and art really shines through with this place. The drinks are strong and tasty-- would vouch for the espresso martini. Definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area to check out what is going on here, if it is not sold out!

She is a beautiful spot! I mean the purple, the lighting, the grey furniture. This place was put together with thought and care. She is gorgeous!

The drinks are amazing. Good solid pour of high quality alcohol, and I'm not talking about the top shelf, but even the well is good solid alcohol. I recommend the whiskey, but that's cuz I'm a whiskey drinker.

The service is great. The bar staff are friendly and engaging. The way the bar is set up it is also easy for the staff to serve you, so that is amazing.

Love the entertainment here! Very talented - their range in genre is spectacular. The owner made me feel real welcomed. It's a definitely intimate place so great for date night. Haven't tried the food yet but they do have a full bar!

Is it the best piano bar? Well, yes actually, considering you'd have to go to Vegas for a better one. So for all intents and purposes it is the best one available.

The finishings on the place are just ok and the space is a bit small but like any good piano bar it nails the atmosphere and the fun. The drinks are surprisingly good, and a fair bit of craft and effort goes into them. They are comparable to drinks you'd pay a few dollars more for elsewhere in town.

So it's a very unique, fun night out - highly recommended. Also as far as I can tell they've avoided the most irritating part of dueling pianos which is encouraging customers to bid against each other to make songs stop.

Very cool Bar! Stumbled in after dinner nearby at 6 and stayed an hour before their live performance. These are paid events that cost about $10 that you can pay at the event or purchase a ticket before.

The lighting was nice and dim, not harsh on the eyes and the drinks were good as well. We were one of the first people walking in and had gotten helped right away at the bar. I had a beer and my girl had an Espresso Martini. She said it was good and they used the coffee from a local shop next door! If you like to try new spots in DT, give it a try!

This venue is small and intimate. You will find yourself talking to the other guests. The music was great, drinks reasonably priced and everyone is friendly here. The dueling pianists had great voices and made it a great night.
